Thank you so much for this video. I’d always wanted a pixie cut for years and I was **this** close to getting one this week, but something always cautioned me. My lovely and supportive mother told me I have a heart shape which would be nice for a pixie cut, but I styled my hair back to practice what a pixie might look like and I realized it was awful looking with my cheeks. My cheeks are too round and soft with no sharp features. Your video not only made me realize I’m an oval shaped face and not heart shaped, not only was my gut right that I’m simply not made for a pixie, but you helped me embrace myself and my face ♥️ thank you

Don't let it worry you. My young face was the optimal oval, sadly the years have added jowls and a double chin LOL. So now it's more oblong!

I think trying both long and short is a good option if you have no idea like me and it worked out none of those facial apps really helped but I decided on my own style of hair (basically choose which hairstyle is comfortable for you!)

Seriously, that would help so much!! Thanks to his help, I was finally able to see I have an oval face...and then he shows TWO haircuts and theyre both fine-straight-hair models. Which is literally THE OPPOSITE of my hair. My hair is super thick, curly, and its frizzy even on a good day after a pampering shower. My hair is IMPOSSIBLE to tame so I finally just brush it out and put it into a twisty bun and leave it until the next morning where I brush it and put it right back up. I don't even let it down because its such a pain!
So pictures would definitely help with getting advice that I can actually use!

i am a diamond...once you said cheeks are prominent it was easy to figure out. and the advice is totally true because i always think long straight hair has never done me wrong and a ponytail is my fave go to even though ive gotten fat and my jaws are more round given me a little on the oblong lately

I have a round face and a bob, and honestly up until now everyone that has ever met me when I had longer hair, has said that this shorter hairstyle suits me way better. I don't know if it's because I'm short and longer hair makes me look even shorter or what... Plus I still keep the front pieces of my hair in front of the sides of my face, so it still looks more oval. Instead when my hair was longer the front pieces were bugging me so much that I just kept putting them behind my shoulders... so I would say try out the bob anyway!
Just make it at least an inch longer than your chin and it should be ok maybe add some side bangs to hide the wides part of the face

I always assumed that my face shape was oval because it looks, you know, oval. But my cheeks are a bit too full and my face is generally not as attractive as someone who has an oval face shape. If you have curly hair, unfortunately you gotta do the work yourself! A lot of cuts have never worked for me because my hair is fine and 2b/2c/3a/3b (aka all sorts of mismatch curls and waves). Some people with curly hair can pull off curly bangs really well, I did it for a while and my bangs waved nicely because of my pattern and my cowlick. However usually, I find my hair does best with no layers or long layers, face framing, and leaving it alone. I moisturize and cowash a ton and I'm Caucasian so it works for all ethnicities to cowash. When you have curly hair you just have to respect it and let it show you what it wants to do! It's a gift!!

OMG thank you so much Brad Mondo! omg, finally bangs fits well to me, because I used to love bangs before, I've noticed the shape of my forhead is more flat and simple when it is on the side means left or right side of view then it seems like it's good and fits completely and perfectly to get a bangs, I do love short hair, long hair and blond hair as they all fit to my own favorite fashion..... I'm always not hundred percent sure about what I think about my face shape and hair style because I'm not a professional about these things, but yep myself is always ready to accept what shape and hair fits me when I find out everything. Yes i don't why people think wavy as the same as curly it's definitely not. I have sort of wavy hair because I did curly perm ( it used to be straight) when it went out it turn into wavy. I have a round face and i swear yall, shoet hair will look AWESOME on round faces, short as in not ear level but anything shoulder level and below looks very well on short hair. Especially if u volumise ur hair it looks very very good and i recommend getting layered hair cuz my beauty just instantly shined after getting a layer cut. I love mid-length hair so much on my face and i recommend it!
