It might also be that I brush my hair back into a sleek ponytail and haven't left out any baby hairs to swoop. I spend most of my time trying to force hair forward and it just stays coming out ugly. My edges curl up so quick just like yours lol, I've learned that if you do your edges first then wrap it with a silk wrap while your styling your hair then take it off it'll be laaaaaid 😍😊

I do that technique because gel flakes and the edge control conditions and holds..! my fav is Murray's edgewax or creme of nature Aryan oil or olive oil edge control with ecostyler gel (Argan oil)
