I used to get glutathione injections from a Korean medispa in Los Angeles. I bought a package of 20. It also included vitamin C although I don't know the dose of either ingredient. I noticed visible difference after 8 IVs. The aftercare instructions were to wear copious amounts of sunscreen and to avoid alcohol - something about the oxidative stress of drinking negates the effect of glutathione. My skin was noticeably brighter - not lighter. People who hadn't seen me in awhile even mentioned how nice my skin looked, and not just in my face - the effect was all over my body, especially the neck area. The brighter luminosity made my skin appear more poreless and even-toned depending on ambient lighting conditions. It looked the same after 20 treatments at which point I stopped because the frequency required to maintain it gets expensive. Also, driving in once a week in LA traffic to get an IV gets old fast. My skin returned back to "normal" about a month later.

I had the same effect after the second dose. The blow and luminosity lasted for 2 months for me and I had 3 doses for me.

I took 250mg glutathione in the morning and 250mg at night for 2 weeks. I took it for health purposes, not skin lightening as I have very fair skin to start with. I felt great for the first week and one of the side effect was that I turned even whiter. However, after two weeks I started feeling overall muscle weakness. I felt out of breath just going one flight of stairs. I also experienced heart palps. It was very scary so I stopped it right away. I liked how my skin looked, white and glowing but not sure why the other side effects. Long term use, it is unclear if it downregulates your body’s own production of glutathione.

Having regular circadian rhythms and sleep for at least 6 hours+ and maybe taking NAD+ , could help with natural glutathione level. Since regular secretions of melatonin will help stimulate antioxidant enzymes, and NAD+ which help with proper energy production in cells, and cofactor for Sirtuins which could activate gene for antioxidant productions.

I ended up in the ER because of trombosis in one arm and shoulder as well as generalized inflammation of my veins due to IV with gluthatione and vitamine CV, six weeks later I´m still on anticoagulants (apixaban), and I also got scary liver values that were treated in just a week but all of this was expensive and time consuming and causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. I had these IV (3 in total) not because I needed it for my skin but because I happened to mention to my dermatologist, one I use to see for PRP when I´m in India, that I was continuously fatigued so she convinced me that vitamines "from the inside" would be more efficiant than the healthy food and supplements I was already having. First IV was painful, and my arm remained painful for over a week but the doctor convinced me it was all normal. After that she was away from the clinic so when the installation of the IV got more and more difficult as my veins became more and more inflamed, I worried and asked the staff if it was normal, sadly they did not understand anything (English or complicated medical issues) and told me it was all normal and we should continue. After the third time my arm almost doubled in size, was bright red and hurt a lot, in the hospital they found several places with trombosis. I was also told, what I should have understood by myself, that having an IV unless necessary is a true "no, no" because trombosis can happen even after medication with IV however in those cases IV is necessary. Also vitamines such as vitamine C are irritating (to the skin) to the veins.....

I take it orally as a supplement, 1,000 mg (3 capsules per day/serving size) . I don’t notice anything as I am fairly skinned already, I take for prevention. but heard it’s a strong antioxidant. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do not have melasma on r dark spots or spotting in general as I am consistent with skincare and sunscreen. Now at 47 I carry a foldable brim hat too.

I took the brand Oxithion which provides Gluthathion 100mg, by placing it under the tongue, the effect was so obvious, my skin has never been so fair, the result is obvious just in 1 week! I am so shocked, thank god I did not take the IV drip which I almost did.

I was diagnosed with chemical toxicity (SEVERE MIGRAINES caused by Bromopropane and perchlorate found in my lab tests) and my Dr put me on 2,000 mg glutathione IVs once a week and once a month for maintenance. They have been a Godsend for me. Unfortunately they have made me slightly paler than I already was but I could care less as long as I’m migraine free. It never helped my sun damage, beauty marks or spots.

Hi Jackie! Happy Wednesday!! I hope you had a beautiful day and that you are doing well. This was one of the worst days for humidity we've had. As soon as I went outside, my skin was sticky. Yuck! We had a couple of rain showers which only made it even more steamy. I had a busy surgery/ dental day. To name a few.....an adorable 6 mo old tabby kitty named Gizmo who was neutered, a terrier mix named Angel, a lab mix named Rizzie who both got their teeth cleaned and a golden retriever named Abby who had eye surgery. All were super sweet! I sure am ready to get off my feet and relax with you and Miss Fancy Pants. How about some tea, my dear, sweet friend? And my kitties would love for Miss Fancy Pants to join them for cuddles. Please, give her one from me. I hope you have a lovely evening and enjoy sweet dreams. Peace, joy and many blessings to you always. 💚🙏💚🕊💚☕☕🐈🐈💚☔💐💚🐾🐾💚

OMG i tried the IV Gluta for like more than 3 months. I had an IV gluta twice a week as they don't advice it daily to keep liver or kidney at safe condition. I would say it was effective - lightened my skin and I received compliments that my skin looked younger from people i haven't seen for a year.
But if you stop it and go to previous routine like going to beach without sunblock etc. Things will go back to its previous state lol from my own experience.
Now, I'm looking into using gluta capsules.

Also I won't go back to that regimine anymore I just feel that something isn't right. Id better use capsules.

I take b well network brand topical glutathione to help my liver. My friend works there and i wanted to try it. I started smearing it on my face. If you can get past the sulfur smell, it does work to "brighten" my skin but it's temporary! As soon as i get exposed to a mast cell trigger, my face turns red again. I hate the smell so i forget to do it but i like rubbing it on my stomach before bed. I have a very slow liver and it can't hurt!

More beneficial in moisturizer and serums...... So the main question is why cerave use ceramides in cleansers i know they dont cause harm but cleanser dont remain on skin for long enough......
