First, I want to thank you very informative ServiceNow information. I'm trying to create a notification, using Flow Designer workflow that's already created. This, however, is for a catalog item so that one of our teams or (4) users can be notified that this request has started in the system. Is it possible to have this type of notification for a catalog item request? If so, can you guide me as to how I can do this. I too like the send notification option. Thanks, Yvette
Hey 👋 First you have to decide at what conditions these notification will get trigger !! For an example if you say when the request item will get assigned to an assignment group then the notification will get trigger then you have to set condition in the flow in the same way ! Well in such cases I would suggest you to create notification based on condtion that would be more compact and easy to execute 🤓
Hello Pritam, what if there already exists a business rule that assigns the incident to a different group( say Network Admin) when priority is critical. And now you have created a flow designer automation that will assign same incident to "Service Desk" when priority is critical. Will there be a conflict? And if so, which one takes priority, Business Rule or Flow Designer Action?

tq u so much for excellent teaching.and can yu tel me what is difference of flow design and ui policy or BR all there is we put some conditions and execute it right then wt make the exact diffrence between them kindly clarify sir
Hi, See all of these things are powerful configuration tool in Servicenow. However the approach of flow designer is to use the 'no code' logic. If you want to implement a big complex flow with lot of action then better to use flow designer but for quick operation like making a field read only, hide or giving a message to the use..for this cases you can use business rules or UI policy.
Hi Pri, My flow got activated successfully and it is working while I'm testing but it's not working when I'm creating a new incident having vpn in it's short description. Please help
the same, I tried couple of times. I have a different view than you. When I open the executions and choose the execution record a table opens "Flow engine context" with Name: "name of the flow", Reporting: OFF, State: Complete, Runtime: 609. Below are Related Links and Flow engine log entries and Flow Val Listeners tabs and [New] button
@techwithpri hey, I mean in general. Whenever you open the new incident table, I see that the 'assignment group' isn't mandatory. But in my instance it is.
Keep up the good work. This is so good for Indian audience. Rest other videos, I face accent issue.

Sorry for the late reply 😔
Anything specific you wanted to say?
@@techwithpri oh, I must have made a comment there by mistake. Sorry, but thank you 🙃
No issue 🤓
Have you deactivated the "Mandatory - Assignment Group" UI policy? I see that your Incident table doesn't require from you to "populate" this field.
Hey !!
Can you mention the exact timing you are talking about, it would become easy for me to find out the exact part of the video 🤓

@@AdrianLobodzinski Oh yes!! for some other use case probably I have made it not mandatory using UI policy 🤓
