just ordered one, the concept with the dial as ice and the looks of it was enough to just pull the trigger. Heard alot of nice things about CW and really looking forward to confirm the quality myself. My first gmt =)
@@dancinglizard3080 Hi, fantastic, been wearing it daily since i got it, i work with heavy machinery and kinda rough work all around, and it just keeps on ticking. Great watch, highly recommend it!
Beautiful watch. As an American, I'll order one when Christopher Ward either sells through an affiliate in the U.S. or uses another delivery company other than DHL. DHL has the reputation for adding extra costs related to customs duties so that what you wind up paying is totally unpredictable according to the nightmare stories I've read about this online. Paying $90 for customs is not bad, but there's no guarantee with DHL that it won't be much more.
That’s totally up to you of course, but I wouldn’t base my purchase decision solely on the delivery company. All of them have bad reviews if you look long enough. And most customers with a positive experience don’t leave a review. I’d bet that CW has send thousands of watches to the US via DHL. Assuming a margin of error of 5% that’ll naturally translate into a few bad reviews. I’m not saying the bad reviews are unreasonable nor am I saying DHL is an outstanding carrier, I’m just saying that I wouldn’t let myself be put out of a great watch only because of DHL. That being said, there are many CW available on the US second hand market. Thank you for your comment.
Great review it looks a beautiful watch and one im debating whether to buy or not. Can i ask if it sits ok on the wrist ok at just over 14mm high? What sort of time is it keeping, i bet it's well within the tolerance. Thanks
Thank you! It sits very well on the wrist as the bracelet with its fitted end links tucks the wrist very well. Also, the case is well designed to give a good fit. I really don’t feel the 14mm. Mine is at about +10 seconds per day, which is well within the tolerance of -/+ 20 seconds. However, I think it will improve over time as the movement breaks in.
Very cool watch! Im really tempted to order this but I have a smaller wrist of just under 6.75inch.. may I know what is the crystal/dial size on this 42mm c60 gmt case?
Thank you! I really don’t know what the dial itself measures. I’d guess 33 to 35 mm maybe? You can order it on a strap instead the bracelet and it will actually wear smaller than on the bracelet.
It was a quick unboxing video. Lume shots and a more detailed review as well as my impressions will be coming in the full review in about a week or two.
May I make a suggestion respectfully..when you make a video don’t make almost half of that video about you opening a box. We’re all over the unboxing situation.. get to the merch “almost 5 minutes”
Thank you for your comment. I have a second video that’s only about the watch. With this video I wanted to show exactly what you get when ordering directly from CW.

Congratulations! You won’t regret it. It’s a great watch and the dial looks even better in person.
@@tomswatchreviews9784 cant wait! Can you see the movement if you look close, or is it the datewheel that can be seen?
@@charliebrown8596 you can see the date wheel and parts of the movement through the dial. It’s really cool.
How's the watch ownership going with you?

"Invoice. Look at it later... don't show the wife..." Dude, I feel your pain.
They should offer a „no invoice“ option 😆
@@tomswatchreviews9784 like on Amazon... It's a "gift."

When CW has their next big sale, I'm going to get the non-gmt version with the white dial. I think it's a stunner.
I think it’s a great watch and you won’t regret your purchase 👍
@@tomswatchreviews9784 yes. I already have 4 watches of theirs. Going back to the C30 models.
That’s great 😃

How come no lume shots?

Too shiny for my taste. Rub it in a bucket of sandy mud. Then it will look good.

Pointless…..who gives a toss about a box FFS
I think a well made presentation box contributes to the whole watch experience.
