    **Important Note**
I really enjoy watches and that's why I started this channel so I could review them regularly but my satisfaction is not found in owning or experiencing watches, no matter how many I may accumulate or how luxurious and expensive they may be . . .
Wise King Solomon said in Ecclesiastes 5:10 "He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity."
The truth is, material possessions of any kind, money, power, etc. never can and never will satisfy our hungering souls. Only knowing, loving, and serving God can truly satisfy.
The only way we can have a real relationship with God, the Creator of the Universe, is through the Lord Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6
Through Christ's sacrificial death on the cross, for my sins and your sins, and His resurrection from the dead we can have peace with God (Romans 5:1), forgiveness of sins (Acts 10:43), eternal life (John 3:16), and so much more!
In Christ, we can know true joy now and for all eternity.
"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." - 1 John 5:12

I just got mine yesterday. It is a well made watch for the price. I like the fit and finish which is as good as Omega. The only thing I’m not sure about is the hands being too dark. After the sun goes down if someone asks what time it is, “dark” is all I can say.

Great review! I am in the group that LOVES the gunmetal finish. It’s darker than Steinhart’s Ocean One Phantom Orange & Green. In full sun at the beach, pool, or on a boat the brushed gun metal finished steel really shines through on the C60 Abyss.
Steinhart’s DLC is also beautiful in full sun and if also seems somewhat translucent in that the steel brushing underneath is sometimes visible but the shade and overall appearance of Steinhart’s stealthy diver is much more blacked out and subdued.
I’ve had my C60 Abyss GMT & SH21 for almost a year now and both have been holding up brilliantly and keeping great time.

@@Hotter21 Steinhart has made a few similar DLC/ stealthy models based on their Ocean One series of watches.
Tudor also makes a brilliant stealth Black Bay ceramic but it is $$$$$

Good looking watch. I always worry about these PVD coated pieces and how they handle scratches. The 600m is impressive and is the same as my Omega PO. Impressive looking watch. That bezel issue is surprising considering they are known for their QC. Nice job 👍.

Thanks brother! The PVD coating is a hard one to really determine how good it is when only having a watch for a few weeks, I understand the concern. I was surprised by the bezel too! Thanks for tuning in pal!

Man, very masculine and tactical looking piece! I be it almost looks like a black widow on the wrist with when the red GMT hand lines up with the red triangle on the bezel! I would say that its acceptable for the lume on this one, especially bc a majority of blacked out watches don't even bother with lume in my experience lol. Great review man, I am needing a GMT in my collection so I'm hoping to review one on my channel soon too! Have a great weekend Josh! 😎🍻👍

I have a C60 Pro 600 42mm, white dial. It’s very nice. The build quality is great.
Not a fan of this watch. The gunmetal is nice, but the big issue is the blacked out dial. Makes it harder to see, and as you mentioned, Black lume is never that good.

I’ve worn this watch daily for a year now and am happy with my experience. The only bad thing Is at at night, it is impossible to read. The night visibility wouldn’t stop me from buying it again.

Fantastic video!! It looks very cool! 600m water resistance! The only things I don't like and it's a personal opinion, PVD isn't a great material for endurance. The PVD coated watch (not CW) I used mountaineering was easily scratched and now it looks like 💩. Only other thing I wish they'd change the name to just "Ward" at the top instead of the logo or just the logo, no name. "Christopher Ward" makes me think of "Tommy Hilfiger ", "Emporio Armani " and that great company that cuts out the middleman....."Filipo Loreti"...😜 The misaligned bezel completes the picture...

Carl F Bucherer? Roger Dubuois? Patel Phillipe even? Richard Mille. Ward would make me think of a hospital. I’m with you on PVD. Strictly for gentle wear.

@@raymondrichardson6061 Good point, but iconic companies like Patek Philippe and Carl Bucherer have been around since the 19th century and are in a different league. Richard Mille is really a luxury fashion brand, many people consider his watches over the top monstrosities similar to Hublot, just at a higher price level to the Invicta watches sold on American shopping channels. Ward doesn't have that history, just as Tommy Hilfiger doesn't so my point was that the modern perception of a young brand may be associated with fashion trash. My son, who is becoming interested in watches actually asked me was Christopher Ward like Daniel Wellington, and asked do they make clothest too... Of course, nothing could be further away from the truth, but the younger generation can make this kind of connection. He's well aware that Daniel Wellington, Tommy Hilfiger, etc sell branded rubbish so it's an easy mistake. Younger people are thinking of Rolex, Omega, Seiko, Orient, and others, those labels as being the watches they consider to be serious watches, some of them quite affordable. It's only an opinion of course but as a marketing guy, I think they need to separate themselves from the double barrelled fashion brand labels. If the surname "Ward" reminds you of a hospital, then Omega must remind you of a fish oil supplement. 😉

    • @raymondrichardson6061
      @raymondrichardson6061 3 года назад +2

I love Marketing. The associations between brand identity, and product is fascinating. It is 30 yrs since the “Ratners” episode ( in the UK ). A brand trashed brilliantly, overnight. I do think VW group, have shown how products, can change the perceptions of a brand, if they are good enough, with Skoda, and Seat. I have a Maurice Lacroix watch, which would be probably the very definition of a fashion watch, but it’s design, fit and finish, would shame many a high end brand. This brings me to Christopher Ward. I really like their watches. They have developed over time, to become original, quality, innovative, well guaranteed products. Their TV campaign was hateful. The smarmy superior English type, plummy gentleman narrator, was just the worst. I would be interested in your comments, if you are familiar with it. It did seem, , successful, for their C60 Sapphire. I loved the watch, but the campaign made me wretch. ( I am English )

Big CW can here (I own 4) but I wouldn't get this one. I use my watches all the time for actually timing things conveniently and legibility is important. The gunmetal looks cool, but then legibility leaves much to be desired. A great looks watch and buy it for that, but for a useful daily wearer it lags behind my other CW watches.
