  • Introducing the Christopher Ward C60 Atoll 300. Inspired by seascapes of the Indian Ocean, with a lacquered dial that gradually goes from light to dark. Heavily sandblasted bezel with polished, raised numerals and a reassuring click. Applied twin flags logo. Date wheel colour matched to the dial. With power courtesy of the Sellita SW200-1, all encased in a 40mm Light-catcher™ case.

Hi there! Nice review, love the banter. I previously owned the white-dial c63 Sealander (which I think was the exact same specimen that you reviewed (I believe it came with a card saying 'Zaltek Reviews'). Anyway, I ended up selling that watch because of its poor legibility, both in broad daylight (the hands and indices would disappear) and during low-light conditions (lume was pretty much non-existent).
Now, how would you say this C60 Atoll stacks up to the Sealander in terms of lume and overall legibility? I'm very tempted by this one, but previous experience is holding me back.
    Cheers!

Lume is always going to be better on a diver compared to a sports watch, especially with the same brand.

Cheers Dan, this is Sean in Atlanta. I have only recently found your channel, which I subscribed to, and I am re-watching your video on the Christopher Ward C60 Atoll. I feel the same way about that Watch that you did when you first saw it, and I am wondering if you still feel the same way? I was just about to buy the C 63 Sealander GMT, but this watch looks so devastatingly beautiful to me that I am on the fence and I don’t know what to do. I can’t afford them both, so I rely on expert reviews like yours and wanted to ask you to tell me your thoughts about it now that you have worn it for while. My God, that watch with that dial and bezel takes my breath away!
Thank you so much and I really have enjoyed your channel so far!

C63 has a different movement which is more accurate and has a longer power reserve of 56hours as opposed to the 38 this watch has, but the obvious thing to note one if a tool GMT watch and the other is imply a diver so they are different watches to begin with.

    Hi,
I have it for a few days and I have noticed an uneven gap between the external bezel and the smaller inner bezel. It gets more noticeable when you push the bezel to one side, it then creates a gap on the other side... the gap is barely 1 mm large but it is enough to create an assymetrical look :/
Can you relate to that ?
Sorry in advance for my english, I'm from France

The answer of CW customer service : "I have checked my model on the showroom and it is also the same. I have also checked with the head technician and they are aware of this and it is considered within our tolerances I am afraid so we cannot change/improve that movement at all."
I guess I am too demanding but still I was expecting more from this brand...

Mine is exactly the same. Very disappointed. After the last the few days trying to get through to CW customer service (absolute headache) they have said exactly the same response “within tolerance” and I have had to take an 80% refund after nearly 2 weeks of back and forth. Poor QC followed up with uncontactable customer service. When you are spending this much money you shouldn’t be faced with these issues and just for them to be brushed under the carpet. Such a shame.

I would like to see from CW some refinements on the bracelet. If the case has some polishing, continue that to the bracelet. Clasp is way too large for a 40mm watch, put that on a mega dive watch not on this
