Yeah Mark it gets very congested there during tourist season, gotta love all that Moab has to offer, to bad they they turned Willow Springs Rd into a Fee area. I used that as my base docking place to ride my KTM all around there, the soft deep fine sand washes were a workout for sure, as were the single track trails through the mountain ridge bolder clusters, good fun stuff, I'll be back for more next year.

It does get congested here. It's starting to cool off here and I'm starting to see the influx of campers here in the desert. Yeah, they did turn Willow Springs into a fee area. It's a shame. Would have loved to dispersed camped there. Lots to see and do around here.

Hats off to you for being able to manage that heat. As far as the turquoise color is concerned, I think it’s from minerals in the dirt. I’ll be passing through that way in a few days and I will ferveobope it’s cooled down a bit. 😅Travel on!

That thing you found looks just like the present I bought my daughter last year
It was a portable pop up corn hole game. Usually they come with two of those things you found
They pop up and you lay them flat on the ground
Get your bean bags…..stand back and toss in that hole
    Anyway
    Think that’s what it is
Great video Mark hope we can see ya in Quartzsite this winter if you go 🎉

I believe you are right. It did look like a corn hole game. I haven't decided on Quartzsite yet. Quartzsite can get really crowded in the winter.

I admire the way you don't have to be around a mob of people all the time. Make's for a peaceful and private time out in natures beauty. Cannot believe all the things to take in around Moab. I have been looking at the LANCE truck campers and I think they are about my favorite choice and seem to be well made. Keep having a good time Mark and I'm always looking forward to your next informative video. Stay safe !

    • @DispersedCamperMan

I definitely prefer to not be around a mob of people. I like the solitude of being out there alone, at peace with the world. LOL I love Lance. I think my next one will also be a Lance.

Very nice. I like the idea of going in the off season to get a good spot. The AC in my motorhome isn’t so great, but I’ve found a fan makes me comfortable and runs off my solar too.
Strapped my CRF250L to the back of my rig and found myself a nice dispersed camping spot overlooking Caples lake in the Sierras a few weeks ago. Love having the bike to go exploring with while getting 60 mpg. You gave me the idea several years back 🙏

    • @DispersedCamperMan
      @DispersedCamperMan  Год назад +1

I like camping in the heat, there is hardly nobody out there. I normally have the whole place to myself. I do have A/C, which I wouldn't be camping in the heat without it. LOL Yeah, you can't beat a motorcycle as a way to explore an area while camping out. I love mine!

Nice video Mark! the trash you found at first looked like a drone landing pad but i dont know, since it opened up, youre right, how hard is it to throw away properly huh. Dinosaur tracks are always interesting! Even tho this site lacks the trees n shrubs, its still worth a visit and stay just to check it out, thanks for sharing man, always quality stuff!

I was thinking is was some sort of toss game. Where you toss a bean bag at it and try to hit the hole. It's currently residing in a dumpster in Moab, or probably in a landfill by now. Thanks!

    • @DispersedCamperMan

Thanks! My philosophy is it's all public lands and meant to be shared with others to enjoy it. I have been to Goblin Valley! Stayed at these coordinates: 38.575954, -110.768517 Since my youtube videos are monetized, I can't post any video on youtube without first applying for a permit to video in state parks. So I can't upload them. I loved my stay there and got some great footage. Neat area!

Another nice site, Mark. The trip we just wrapped up was doing a bit of dispersed camping. Since then we’ve decided we won’t stay in RV parks or crowded state or national parks unless there are no other options. It was so peaceful and quiet.
