You are one interesting and fortunate person to enjoy that kind of life! I'm retired as a firefighter from Florida, now in the Philippines but plan to circle back and see some of the stuff you are enjoying! Thank you!
Yeah Mark it gets very congested there during tourist season, gotta love all that Moab has to offer, to bad they they turned Willow Springs Rd into a Fee area. I used that as my base docking place to ride my KTM all around there, the soft deep fine sand washes were a workout for sure, as were the single track trails through the mountain ridge bolder clusters, good fun stuff, I'll be back for more next year.
It does get congested here. It's starting to cool off here and I'm starting to see the influx of campers here in the desert. Yeah, they did turn Willow Springs into a fee area. It's a shame. Would have loved to dispersed camped there. Lots to see and do around here.
Hats off to you for being able to manage that heat. As far as the turquoise color is concerned, I think it’s from minerals in the dirt. I’ll be passing through that way in a few days and I will ferveobope it’s cooled down a bit. 😅Travel on!
That thing you found looks just like the present I bought my daughter last year It was a portable pop up corn hole game. Usually they come with two of those things you found They pop up and you lay them flat on the ground Get your bean bags…..stand back and toss in that hole Anyway Think that’s what it is Great video Mark hope we can see ya in Quartzsite this winter if you go 🎉
I admire the way you don't have to be around a mob of people all the time. Make's for a peaceful and private time out in natures beauty. Cannot believe all the things to take in around Moab. I have been looking at the LANCE truck campers and I think they are about my favorite choice and seem to be well made. Keep having a good time Mark and I'm always looking forward to your next informative video. Stay safe !
I definitely prefer to not be around a mob of people. I like the solitude of being out there alone, at peace with the world. LOL I love Lance. I think my next one will also be a Lance.
Very nice. I like the idea of going in the off season to get a good spot. The AC in my motorhome isn’t so great, but I’ve found a fan makes me comfortable and runs off my solar too. Strapped my CRF250L to the back of my rig and found myself a nice dispersed camping spot overlooking Caples lake in the Sierras a few weeks ago. Love having the bike to go exploring with while getting 60 mpg. You gave me the idea several years back 🙏
I like camping in the heat, there is hardly nobody out there. I normally have the whole place to myself. I do have A/C, which I wouldn't be camping in the heat without it. LOL Yeah, you can't beat a motorcycle as a way to explore an area while camping out. I love mine!
Nice video Mark! the trash you found at first looked like a drone landing pad but i dont know, since it opened up, youre right, how hard is it to throw away properly huh. Dinosaur tracks are always interesting! Even tho this site lacks the trees n shrubs, its still worth a visit and stay just to check it out, thanks for sharing man, always quality stuff!
I was thinking is was some sort of toss game. Where you toss a bean bag at it and try to hit the hole. It's currently residing in a dumpster in Moab, or probably in a landfill by now. Thanks!
The trash looked like a portable corn hole board 🤷🏼♂️ Nice spot and close to everything. It’s nice with no humidity, still hot but it’s actually not bad. Unlike the east coast because we have plenty of it 😂
Love your blog, Utah is on my bucket list but for now I'll have to settle for this campsite you marked at Hurricane Creek. It's a little unlevel but since I'm in a hammock it's a small problem. Thanks for marking this spot and all the great information you provided 😊
Thanks for giving such good directions to your sites. A couple of other youtubers do not. I spent two months out there in May and June and only paid for camping once. Have you done Goblin Valley?
Thanks! My philosophy is it's all public lands and meant to be shared with others to enjoy it. I have been to Goblin Valley! Stayed at these coordinates: 38.575954, -110.768517 Since my youtube videos are monetized, I can't post any video on youtube without first applying for a permit to video in state parks. So I can't upload them. I loved my stay there and got some great footage. Neat area!
Another nice site, Mark. The trip we just wrapped up was doing a bit of dispersed camping. Since then we’ve decided we won’t stay in RV parks or crowded state or national parks unless there are no other options. It was so peaceful and quiet.
Bike, vehicle to get to the places for riding, and a camper.....perfect!
Thanks for showing us around… / glad you are able to handle the heat.
You bet! Heat doesn't bother me as long as my A/C works at night while sleeping.

Hi Mark…just checking on you to see if you are ok…no hurry on a video, we were just concerned about you. Have a good day…Steve and Mary 😊
Thanks! Yeah, doing great. I'm back in Arkansas visiting family. My last video will be up soon.,
Ok good…enjoy visiting with your family! Just concerned about you! 😊
That is the prettiest dirt I have ever seen sometimes it can be nice to enjoy the stars with other campers hot or cold camping is great
I thought it was very pretty also. LOL

I don't mind the heat, as long as I've got A/C when I'm trying to sleep at night. LOL

I thought the same thing.
I believe you are right. It did look like a corn hole game. I haven't decided on Quartzsite yet. Quartzsite can get really crowded in the winter.
@@DispersedCamperMan well please keep us all posted Mark
Would loveeee to say hello 👋
Mark,
That turquoise dirt might be bentonite clay.
Possibly

Moab area is good for agate and Jasper hunting. Thank you for the information on free camp sites! Making my planned trip a whole lot better!
Glad you like them. Have fun!
Awesome!@👍😎🇨🇦

Great spot and convenient! Nice that it’s so close to 191, seems great for a couple day stay while in transit~
Yes indeed!
Looks like an awesome spot. Thanks for sharing!
It was!

Great spot Mark lots and lots of off-road riding to the west of you on 7 mile rim trail I camp and ride there every time I go through there
I rode over there. Great Scenery!
Thanks for the very entertaining video ! Looks like a very dry area , be careful with any open fires 🔥 !
Yes, thanks

Yeah, that's what someone else was saying, a cornhole board. I'm really loving the low humidity for sure.

My thoughts exactly. I don't like crowded rv parks. LOL I prefer the peaceful solitude of dispersed camping! Safe Travels!
Thanks!
Much Appreciated! Thanks!
That is some wild soil deposits. Would be interesting to find out what is causing those beautiful colors!
Good question! I loved camping next to them!
Awesome place… keep doing what u do.
Thank you, I will
Great advice Mark!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice spot !!!
Yes it was!
Bro…I will be like you one day. Super cool video!
Thanks!
Thanks for the video ! How often has it rained on you this summer ? Seems dry in the places you camp , while you are there . Richard .
I think it's sprinkled twice on me since I've been here. Hardly no rain so far.
When you going south ? Still too hot probably. Anyhow, enjoy your videos.
I'll be here in Utah till mid November, then I'll start to head to Arkansas for the holidays. Maybe Arizona after new years. Haven't decided yet.
have you run into trail mator off road recovery yet he is based in moab
I have not. Hopefully I won't need his services. :-)
🤙
✌🏻
Mr Mark are you okay we haven’t seen anymore of you great camping spots lately?
I am. I’m back in Arkansas visiting family, taking a break. I’ll have a vid up soon.
@@DispersedCamperMan Thanks for the update. Take care of yourself.
👍
You've been absent. Hopefully all is well?
I'm visiting family right now. Everything's good!
Mark, you’re MIA. Been 2 months….
Not MIA. Visiting family for a while.
Better than paying $130 a night for a campsite in Moab. More like a horse stable.
Thanks what I keep saying. Or $40 a night just to park on a piece of ground. LOL
