Discovered your content today. Great work! Back.In.The.Day I had an old 1986 4x4 diesel f350 with a viking pop top camper. I welded a receiver hitch up front, carried a DR350se up front, chewed up a lot of the ground you're working now😂😅. You and others inspire me to do so again, now I'm retired. Might get one of those outfitter Juno campers with pop top, passenger side door tho, maybe weld some reciever hitches to frame rails, extend a hitch rack for the bike out back. Didn't really dig it on front. One of your commenters suggested Buckey, i recommend that. You can also hook that trip into the Castleton Gateway road, and have a nice bit of street run too.
Thanks! I preferred to carry my bike on the rear hitch also. With it up front, I couldn't drive at night due to it blocking my headlights. Thanks for the suggest, I'll keep it in mind the next time I'm out that way. Safe Travels!
Yes, blocked lights was an issue as well as rain, snow, mud getting into the bike. Switches, everywhere. Also in heat blocked my radiator. I did wire up jc Whitney headlights on the rack tho, with a switch under the hood turning truck lights off and motorcycle rack headlights on. Safe travels
Thanks for the info you give on the locations. I have an old conversation van with a rear rack for my dr650. Like to get out a few times a year. I like free camping and exploring.
Awesome area - Take a nice scenic drive down to Gateway Colorado. (Hwy 141) It's about a 100 mile one-way ride. There used to be a little food trailer on the northside of Gateway. One of my favorite roads to ride.
Great campsite. I was just in that area early May hiking Arches and Canyonlands. I will definitely check this area out on my next trip that way. Any wifi signal? Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!
Did someone ride up on you on a motorcycle while you were there? When I found this spot, I was exploring around there on my motorcycle. I rode up on this spot about that the date you were there. Do you remember a motorcycle riding up on you?
@@kennethgyovai737 ahhh. I thought of doing that also. I figured my trailer would keep folks out. I did have someone walking there dogs come by though. Caught them on camera.
Wow Mark, your videos just keep getting better...thanks for taking us along! You've inspired me to think about adding my first motorcycle to my truck camper setup. Cheers!
Add a motorcycle to my setup I think was the best decision I've made since buying my camper. LOL They come in very handy. It's nice having back up transportation.
Take the rimrocker trail to buckeye reservoir you won't regret it. And it's a beautiful day for a bike ride. Stop and say hi to me at the host spot. And got a spot down the road with cell service that you can see the san Juan mountains of Colorado.
What a great spot. The elevation is high so the weather is great. Can’t wait to get to Moab and see the area. I did get my Rv if you didn’t know ( it’s on my channel if anyone is interested) 21’ long and 4wd so I’ll be ready to tackle some back roads 👍🏼. The hike is amazing. The water fall and all but going up is definitely the hard part 😂. The shelter maybe a “too tired to make it” shelter 🤷🏼♂️. Great video 🤘🏼
Sounds like you got a good Camper that'll take you on some great adventures! The shelter might be for the tired folk that have to take a break. LOL Safe Travels!
Very nice Mark! this place is def not as busy as the other arches, with that uphill hike! but beautiful none the less! Nice water falls, unbelievable flow of water coming down! You might think about releasing a video as a premiere one of these days, you can schedule it and then there is a chat room while it plays and it gives a chance for the people to watch along with you and ask questions etc. something to think about, but you always do a great job and we appreciate you man! Thanks!!!
Thanks 👍I love the higher elevations. The temps are a lot better than the lower elevations. LOL I'll try out a premiere on my next video and see how it does. I like chatting with viewers in real time. I think it'll be fun. Thanks John!
I like having them. They can record to the internal memory, or set them up on wifi to upload to the cloud. If you have them set up on wifi, they'll alert me on my phone of movement at my campsite. I can also check in on my camp site while away. They are battery powered, and the battery charge last for months, depending on movement. Easy to set up and easy to use. I have a link for them on amazon in my video description if interested in checking them out.
I wouldn't know unless I check maps. BLM land, National Forests are free to camp at unless there are signs up saying camping not allowed, or have to pay. Most state parks you do have to pay.
Are atv’s allowed on a lot of the BLM land? I’ve watched a lot of your videos and just wondered how many of them places you stayed at if ATVs are allowed.
My security cameras have to have internet service to send me notifications on my phone. I use my starlink to provide wifi while dispersed camping. I don't have to have wifi to use them, if I didn't have wifi, I could have the cameras record to the internal memory. But without wifi, I would not be alerted of movement, nor would I be able to have a live feed of my campsite while away. I use my 1000W jackery to power my starlink during the day, and the solar keeps it charged.
Thanks! We just discovered your channel and are really enjoying it. Brian and Kimberley
Awesome! Thank you!
Definitely a great spot. One of your better ones. Thanks for sharing 🍻✌
Thanks 👍
Wow what a beautiful hike!!!!!

Thank you! You too!
thanks for your videos! wow high elevation effects breathing too! amazing views and water! happy trails to y'all!
Thanks Peter! Yeah, I noticed I was sometimes struggling for breath. LOL I had to breathe deeply sometimes to catch up. LOL

You are making me want to leave Arkansas and explore! Good one brother.
You should! Lots of places to check out and see. Nothing like finding a great spot to camp at and exploring the surrounding area.
Nice place for a COLD plunge!
LOL That water was ice melt from up on the mountains. I stuck my hand in it, no way I would do that plunge. LOL
I enjoy your videos out west, I'm just across the CO border close to Montrose.
Very cool! I'm right on the border myself.
Wow, I was just there last Friday!
Small world. It's a great little spot.

Another great video! Thanks for sharing the La Sal Mountains with us!
You bet! Thanks for watching!
Great campsite. I was just in that area early May hiking Arches and Canyonlands. I will definitely check this area out on my next trip that way. Any wifi signal? Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work!
I think it had decent cell, but my wifi from my starlink was great. It's what I use for cellular also.
I stayed in that exact spot on 5-19-23
Did someone ride up on you on a motorcycle while you were there? When I found this spot, I was exploring around there on my motorcycle. I rode up on this spot about that the date you were there. Do you remember a motorcycle riding up on you?
No. I put a rope/ flag up across where your trailer is.
@@kennethgyovai737 ahhh. I thought of doing that also. I figured my trailer would keep folks out. I did have someone walking there dogs come by though. Caught them on camera.
Love to visit there

@Dispersed Camper Man what can you share about the security cameras
I like having them. They can record to the internal memory, or set them up on wifi to upload to the cloud. If you have them set up on wifi, they'll alert me on my phone of movement at my campsite. I can also check in on my camp site while away. They are battery powered, and the battery charge last for months, depending on movement. Easy to set up and easy to use. Do you know if dispersed sites in UT are free? We were up at honey comb state park and saw some nice dispersed sites. 1 near gunlock too.
I wouldn't know unless I check maps. BLM land, National Forests are free to camp at unless there are signs up saying camping not allowed, or have to pay. Most state parks you do have to pay.
Are your security cameras similar to doorbell cameras that they alert you in real time ?
Yes. As long as they are connected to your Wi-Fi. Link to them on Amazon is in the video description.
What cameras are you using? I have the same set up camper, trailer although I have a Tiger 800XCx for my bike.
They are the Hiseeu 2K Spotlight 2.4GHz WiFi Outdoor Camera, the link for them on amazon is in the video description if you want to check them out.
Those elevations make it difficult to hike if you're not used to it.
It definitely does.
What's the daytime temperatures?
Currently there now at about 8500 feet, day time temps around low 80's.
Do you live full time in your camper?
Yes, I do. Going on 10 years now.
Another outstanding video! Thanks! Please set up a Buy Me Coffee account!!
I’ll look into the coffee account. Thanks!
Are atv’s allowed on a lot of the BLM land? I’ve watched a lot of your videos and just wondered how many of them places you stayed at if ATVs are allowed.
Yes, BLM allows ATV's. Just stay on designated routes and don't go off trail. Riding ATVs are legal!
Do your security cameras have to have internet service/ cell service to work, if so is that what the starlink is for?
My security cameras have to have internet service to send me notifications on my phone. I use my starlink to provide wifi while dispersed camping. I don't have to have wifi to use them, if I didn't have wifi, I could have the cameras record to the internal memory.
