    Moab used to be a quaint village with only one stoplight. Now it is a nightmare of tourism, mountain bikes, jeeps, traffic jams, ridiculous prices. Pretty much Jackson, Wy in Utah. We have loved it to death.

    That’s a nice spot. Nice view on the bluff. I want a ground panel for solar so I can park in the shade and still grab some solar. I’m surprised a 5er got up there 😂 but I guess it’s not too steep or soft. Some people are brave

    • @DispersedCamperMan

    Nice video Mark. I enjoy all the great geology of beautiful Utah. In your travels around Utah have you come across many lakes or reservoirs where I could go kayaking ? I am going to try and make it to Utah and Arizona in October or November, Have not been down in that area since 2008 or so. I'll be going back over your videos and try to pick out some areas I might like. Thanks Mark. Stay safe always ! Kenny C.

    • @DispersedCamperMan
      @DispersedCamperMan  Год назад

      Thanks Kenny! There are lakes and reservoirs around here, but they are normally privatized or BLM campgrounds where you have to pay to camp there. I'm currently dispersed camped down from Warner Lake up in the La Sal Mountains. But in October there might be a foot of snow here by then. LOL I have a map of all my locations in this video description, click on a spot and the video of that location pops up. I hope this helps.

    Thanks Mr Mark. You seem to always have the ability to find very beautiful areas. Do you make time for any shooting out there on the BLM? It’s hard for me to choose which firearms to bring with me in my truck camper space is a commodity.

    • @DispersedCamperMan
      @DispersedCamperMan  Год назад +1

      Space is definitely a commodity in a truck camper. Normally there are BLM shooting ranges in the area, just google map it and they'll pull up.

    Nice to see you out west again. Beautiful spot!
    Hey, do you know how that road got its name? I imagine that it went something like this:
    “Hey Elmer, what’s that young buck, Brown, doing out there in the middle of the desert?”
    “He’s digging a hole.”
    “Ain’t he old enough to know it’s hot out there?”
    “Oh, I imagine he knows that by now.”
    “Damn fool. There ain’t nothing to find out there.”
    “True, but maybe that hole will make him famous someday.”
    “How’s that?”
    “We named the road after him.”

    Are you running the Starlink off the truck battery and the solar panels?

    • @DispersedCamperMan
      @DispersedCamperMan  Год назад

      No, I have a jackery 1,000 watt with two solar panels hooked up to it to keep it charged. I have my starlink plugged into the jackery. This set up allows me to keep my starlink on all day and night. The other jackery solar panel I have plugged into my Jackery 500 to keep it charged while running mainly my laptop. The last solar panel I have hooked up to my onboard RV battery to keep it charged throughout the day.
