Check the GPS on Google Maps... That's your rig from the satellite! Awesome video as I plan my trip there next week. This is great spot south of the crowds. I have 17 ft. Winnebago trailer so getting the drive around from your bike helped me pre-scout! Thx!
Thanks for the info! That is my rig. LOL Pretty neat. Even picked up my solar panels up front of my rig. I don't see my motorcycle, I must have been out riding it. Glad the vid was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Exploring BLM and forest land is awesome. Makes you feel like a kid again. Thanks for sharing your trips and encouraging all to visit. Take care Brother.
Fantastic and inspiring! Can’t wait to go to those beautiful dispersed camping areas in the south west ❤️🙏 I’m near retirement at 65 here in Montreal Canada and can’t wait to bring my Jeep grand Cherokee suv and trailer away from our Canadian winters to the mid January Quartzsite RTR either next November at the earliest or at the latest November 2024! Probably still working as a public school teacher and musician one more year until age 66 max! Can’t wait to meet you all and learn in person! My dream since 20 years is to Boondock and become a happy nomad! ❤️🙏
It sounds like you have a solid plan in becoming a happy nomad. Nothing better I believe than traveling around the country and exploring what's out there. Safe Travels and many boondocking nights to come for you!
I'm hoping it stays cooled off at night, I won't have to run generator overnight for the A/C. LOL I don't mind it being hot during the day, but I need to cool off at night to sleep. LOL
Nice video Mark, so sorry about the drone, that was getting interesting until you crashed. the cave was pretty cool too, thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!
Mark, thanks for the scenic tour...I'm attracted to the desert environment (and the quietness that may accompany it) - and you helped expand my awareness of desert regions other than in NM, AZ, NV, and CA...Utah appears to have its own beauty...blessings
@@DispersedCamperMan Thanks, Mark - and you're welcome...if I ever get to that part of Utah, I know the entrance to your camping spot is close/before Hole in the Rock (NOTE: Hole in the Rock is actually on a general map of Utah I viewed!)...blessings...
I share the same love for tacos! While traveling in AZ I found Navajo Tacos they serve them on fry bread like a giant taco so good! You have really kicked up the videos Mark, I'm really enjoying them! Safe travels.
Another great video!!! Because of your travels in Utah , I'm headed to that area next week for a week. First stop Mexican hat rock , then Valley of the Gods, Muley Point and Gooseneck State Park. Prepping the truckcamper as I watch your video. Thanks again for sharing and all the effort you put into your videos!
That is a wonderful camp area. I spent a week right down the road from you a few years back. Close to the town of Monticello. Can't wait to go back. Leah and I bought us a Jeep. So that area is going to be on our list of a explores. Going to Colorado this summer. To drive the million dollar road. Wilson Arch is pretty cool.
I enjoyed my stay there. I drove through Monticello couple of times, it's way up in elevation. Congrats on the jeep. Lots of jeep trails here in Utah. Safe travels!
Leah and I have been by the Hole in the Rock several times. The one time we decided to stop, it was closed. The ole C 1 9er had it shut down. Bad timing on our part. To bad about your drone. It's been a good one. Is it worth fixing? Your KLR sure makes it easy to get out and about. The last two camping spots were really nice. Take care Mark 🤝
Thanks Tracy. The Hole in the Rock Zoo was pretty neat seeing all those animals. It was $6 to pet the animals and another $6 if you wanted to feed them. I think the house tour was $6 also. Pretty neat Hole in the Rock. How they chiseled the house out of the sandstone. The drone is a complete lose. I've ordered another one, at least I'll have spare batteries for the new one. LOL
That’s a great spot. The cave is very cool. I’ve seen the house thing before and I’d like to see it. Just another for the list. 😂 It’s close to Moab and arches so that’s a plus. Two more places I want to see. Great video 👍🏼
Very cool, thanks for sharing. I like National Forest and BLM camping, the National Parks are too crazy and my dog is not welcome on National Park trails.
Just found your videos and am enjoying them. If you go to these coordinates on google earth right now, is that you camped there? I see the shadows of solar panels that looks like your setup. Enjoy the journey!

You keep mentioning 14 days dispersed camping but whose counting the days? Are there some BLM folks coming around checking to see how long you have been there? How do you remember how you got back to your camp site? Do you have a handheld GPS device? I’ve never ever camped before but I’m interested. Does it feel weird being the only person at some of these spots?
Thanks for the comment! Nobody counts the days but you. If a ranger goes by and sees you camping, then comes back by three weeks later, he'll know you have over stayed your time limit. There are some, not many BLM spots that rangers do come by often to ensure you are not over staying your time limit. I mainly use my iPhone with google maps on it to find my way around. If I'm going to be in an area with no cell service, I just download the area maps prior to arriving. It definitely does not feel weird being the only person in a spot. I definitely prefer to be the only person around in an area. If there are to many folks where I want to go, I normally keep driving till there aren't to many folks around. LOL Thanks for watch and the questions! Safe Travels!
Always glad to see one of your videos popping up. Appreciate all the time and effort you put into these videos. Did you do your boot at Lackland AFB ? What year did you join up if I may ask ? I am looking forward to making it back to Utah hopefully next year. I like the way you take care of your equipment and stay squared away.
