    • @muscleman1437
      @muscleman1437 Год назад

      All you need is a gt350 or 2018 manifold and you can touch 8K preferably ported and I guess one weak point would be the oil pump.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 3 месяца назад +1

      @@muscleman1437the 18 up gt manifold doesnt hold power above 7200 very well. A boss or cj is better for spinning to 8k especially ported the boss has good gains with porting.

    • @muscleman1437
      @muscleman1437 3 месяца назад

      @@midnight347 well I have a 2015 mustang gt with a 2018 manifold ported by 1320 and I make power all the way through until 8100 rpms granted 7800 is peak power but it doesn’t fall of it just hold. You’ll obviously need injectors to support the manifold oh and @doublevanoz realistically you won’t need anything to be constantly hitting high rpm’s not until you start boosting/cams then I would recommend oil pump gears and maybe rods depending how spicy you want to be. In that case just get a gen 2 coyote 👑

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 4 года назад

      Yes it is always worth porting anything really lol. It dont cost that much to have someone do it even if you can't do it yourself. If I were running a cj I'd have it ported and run a monoblade tbody to make the most power some guys run the dual bore stock gt500 tbody and that really holds them back. To see the gains from a cj that are possible with it you need all the air = mono blade tbody. If you're gonna go through the trouble and expense doing a cj dont castrate it by running a restricted small dual bore tbody like some guys do. The main benefit of the cj over the boss or any other alternative is the large opening that can bring in alot more air...take advantage of that with the right tbody.
