Vinyl have a very good sound if you have the right TT but technology went beyond many decades ago. I love vinyls because gives me feelings. The same thing is with mechanical watches, a Casio keeps time better then Patek Philippe but you can’t compare the two.

Red, Blue, Bronze, Black.. "I'll take "Blue is best" for $200 Alex" The The Blue is the Sweet spot. 2M Red is a great cart is better if the Red is a Camaro, the Blue is a Corvette. The Bronze is a blank spot and not enough difference between it and the Blue. The Black has an immediate statement ! ..it is clearly sharper, and just sounds like what you would hear on good monitors in a recording studio playback of the final Track.

Esto es algo personal no me gusta Alan Parson ....pero veo que a ti si ... tienes mucho material. Me habia puesto a pensar que el problema era mi equipo de musica pero escuchando esta calidad para que quiero algo mejor esto es inmejorable ....

I am going to buy an analog turntable and all the vinyl I can find..............they f'd crap up when they came out with CD's in the 80's yes they were smaller and easier..........but the true sound was cut with the digital limitations .
Is this cut from a digital master? Just curious, sounds fabulous over my MacBook Pro, Qinpu A3 and Cambridge Audio S20s w/Kimber 4VS. I use an AirportExpress via Airplay for DAC feeding the Qinpu hybrid integrated with and AQ Forrest mini interconnect.
+MWorsa It actually might be. IIRC Brothers In Arms in CD format was classed as a DDD recording and the same master was used for CD, compact cassette and LP.

I think it sounds extremely good, and within the constraints of youtube I would say that the Rega/Technics combo comfortably beats the standard arm. I would say that the next things to try are a) better cartridge still, say an MC, b) upgrade to a better phono stage (Whest, Trichord Dino+NCPSU, etc etc)
+See You In Mist Yes. The technics 1200 series arm is the archilles heal of the superb deck. I have heard SME, Rega, Russco, EMT and Micro trak arms with technics and they all out perform the technics s shaped arm
+Peter C true but i had an sl1200 in the 90s and i changed ithe arm to a rewired Micro Trak 303 and the improvement was night and day. i know the s shape arm can sound much clearer with a wire upgrade too
