OWNER OF A LONELY HEART
Move yourself
You always live your life
Never thinking of the future
Prove yourself
You are the move you make
Take your chances win or loser
See yourself
You are the steps you take
You and you - and that's the only way
Shake - shake yourself
You're every move you make
So the story goes
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Much better than - a
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
tumby
Say - you don't want to chance it
You've been hurt so before
Watch it now
The eagle in the sky
How he dancin' one and only
You - lose yourself
No not for pity's sake
There's no real reason to be lonely
Be yourself
Give your free will a chance
You've got to want to succeed
tumby
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Much better than - a
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
After my own decision
They confused me so
My love said never question your will at all
In the end you've got to go
Look before you leap
And don't you hesitate at all - no no
Owner of a lonely heart
tumby
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Owner of a lonely heart
Much better than - a
Owner of a broken heart
Owner of a lonely heart
[repeat]
Owner of a lonely heart
tumby
Sooner or later each conclusion
Will decide the lonely heart
It will excite it will delight
It will give a better start
Owner of a lonely heart
tumby
Owner of a lonely heart
Don't deceive your free will at all
Don't deceive your free will at all
Don't deceive your free will at all
Just receive it

90125 is the eleventh studio album from the English progressive rock band Yes, released in 1983 on Atco Records. It was the first studio album since their 1981 breakup and the first to feature Trevor Rabin, and also marked the return of vocalist Jon Anderson, who had quit the band prior to their tenth studio album of 1980. It also marked the first time in twelve years that original keyboardist Tony Kaye had appeared with the group.
The album was titled after its Atco Records catalogue number (for example, 7-90125-1 for the LP).

"Yes"
Is that the origin?
I know the who's story was something like "it doesn't matter what we call it, in 50 years someone will just say 'the who?'"
Yes is name of band
@@punker-gamer-trucker-guy that's not actually how the name started. Here's the story: "They were all sitting around in 1968, and they decided to make a name for the new band. Jon Anderson thought of Life, Chris Squire thought of World, and Peter Banks (the original guitarist), kept saying yes. They realized he was serious and they said, do you mean "The Yes?" What a monster video. Can't get enough of it. Back in the 80's I'd watch MTV all day and night just hoping to see it. Well, maybe not ALL day and night.

Ron Jay riiiiiight?????👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
@Bishop Dong Magic Shlong. That doesn't prove anything at all. Because perhaps he never SAW the movie "Night School". MTV played everywhere in the world. On everybody's televisions. Not everybody has heard of the movie "Night School". I'VE never even heard of it. And it's VERY possible that Ron Jay has never heard of it either.
@Bishop Dong Magic Shlong. Going by your previous comment and THIS comment, absolutely, unequivocally, indubitably, 100% not as dumb as you.😁
@Bishop Dong Magic Shlong I have a right to comment. Everybody's opinion is apparently worth only two cents when somebody doesn't like it. His point was that he would have never heard of Yes if it wasn't for MTV. And I was backing that up. Just because that movie came out doesn't mean anything. The point is is that he credits MTV for discovering Yes. and if he had never had this channel he would have never heard of them otherwise. And I believe him.

Well...it is PROGRESSIVE rock, so...
This video is deep and gives even more meaning to this song. It’s about being in control of your destiny and not giving the power to others. You have the means to change your life.
thank you for this thought, now I finally understand the meaning!
THANKS for your insight- but believing drugs can show destiny could have saved
a lot of pain- owning our personal power can be both terrifying and transforming...

And thanks for the GREAT song that still rocks 40 years later. TRULY AMAZING.👏
Definitely!!👍
Released on my birthday before I was even born. Heard this on the radio today what a song.
this song has everything you could want in a song
Yes.
More like everything you don't want, and Yes are one of my favourite bands
Right.
It’s so tight it’s ripping apart from quality
Let's be honest, the riff is badass
I agree, one of my favorite songs by them
Absolutely badass!!
Let's be honest, the song isn't real. It's just a figment of your imagination and you've never even heard this song in your life, because it doesn't exist. That's the truth , isn't it.
I don't know what riff means but YES!
(Did you get the double pun!) I'm amazing!!
@@juarezcastelo Did you earn a doctorate in comedic timing?
There is a mecanism in this song that makes me like it
This band always had it going on! Great artists!
One of my absolute favorite songs from childhood ❤️ I wish they still made music like THIS 🎯
The 80s the best years of my life l would not change it for nothing
Sandra maria Magdalena

I'm with u on that one !!!!! The best of times ....
yip... probably every persons most defining years, our teenage years
I am 50 years old now, but I remember when this came out on MTV, I was really too young to understand what the song and video represents. Watching it now after having worked in corporate America for years I finally understand what it means to set yourself free
I love this song owner of a lonely heart ❤️
These Rock songs transcended right into our African American homes and hearts...thanks to MTV , American Bandstand and our local skating rink DJ's that played all the hits no matter the genre. 80's Forever
One of the best tracks of the 80's from my childhood!👌🏽💯😊
What a pretty and wonderful woman ,hello my darling ?
What is the story it tells...is that a movie take-out in this song ????
I don't think so, the original music video usually didn't include the animal section.
Most girls didn't like this song. Glad to see you did.
Jon has the most beautiful voice an his light blue eyes are so magical I love his voice and his face
Bought the 90125 album new in early 1984 and still have it today. I'm 55 now and taking it to my grave.
One of the hottest hits from the 80's.
I Agree ! Rock On , 80s all the way.
And that’s saying something
And still a hot hit for me right now! (I live in the past when it comes to music.)
80s baby 😎
80'S MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE!!💯
A masterpiece from 1983 that just keeps on giving! Love to relive this era!!!
A década de 80 foi a década de ouro da música e da criatividade.
I Love the 1980s, More.
I would give up everything to live in the 80s again. Greatest decade ever !
The 80s were great. Great music from that Era. Yes has great music including this song and video.
A big YES to this great rock classic. Forty years have gone by since its release and it never fades.

I’m here bumping this in my Classic Buick Regal on PCH Loving it ❤
This song has given me a new meaning, after getting out of a manipulative friendship a year ago.
I have been listening to this more and more currently. The song is helping me to move on
P.S Thank you Yes!
Never noticed the ending before, "don't you leave your free will at home".
You did excellent, to recognize, and move on.
I'm still mindboggled about how good this is mixed, especially for it's time.
Trevor Horn and Co were ahead of the curve
It's the guys from Art Of Noise. Trevor Horn, Especially.
Yeah, you can find the uncut extended version of this song on RUclips. It's amazing how well they edited it down seamlessly.
Same
Pink Floyds production was way ahead of it's time as well
Yes !.love years 80,the rock are beautiful!!!!!.
