Duskmourn is the set I’ve been most excited for all year
Bloomburrow and Duskmorn are about to be so hype! I’m stocked for those 2 sets. Couldn’t care less about Assassins Creed. I don’t know anyone who is excited about the AC set.

Does anyone else always struggle to remember the name of duskmourn? I just know it's "vague bad word" + "random generic word". Usually call it "gloomhaven" or "duskhaven".

Ooooh I’m super into the aesthetic of Duskmourn! As a fan of the horror aesthetic I love the old creepy boxy TVs, and the eerie empty gyms, galleries, and all that!

That first cutesy one, it looks like a portal from a Bloomburrow/Eladrin-esque plane, which means that it might be a flip on a cute plane is invading a more horriffic plane.
Impending just means that the creature isn't a creature for an x amount of turns meaning you have to wait 4 turns to start getting more Everything lands if you paid for the Impending cost which something like this you wouldn't want to do unless you need the ramp for other colours of mana

What is the background art from while looking at enduring tenacity?
With so many products being pumped out every month, you never have a chance to enjoy playing with them. The artwork is just so-so to me. The skull reminds me of something from the Haunter Mansion in Disneyland. Enduring Tenacity is a very good card and yes, the artwork is lazy. It is so ridiculous for Wizards to continue to raise prices again this year. Screw Wizards! I am not buying and boxes of Duskmourn. My anticipation is not huge. I just want to focus on one set at a time. This is getting chaotic. Again, I won't waste my money on Assassin's GREED!!! It will be singles for me once the hype dies down like Aftermath. Thank you for the video Mox Man. Ramble Jamble. With cellphone taking great photos, I am so tired of the fuzzy leaks. It's just a sham by Wizards.

For duskmourn, I read that those glowing yellow creatures will be a glimmer cycle that combats that horrors of the plane, so that’s probably why they feel different than the rest of the set.
they should have brought junji ito back for this set for some cards!

That's the interesting thing about Magic. With the sets coming out, if one disappoints, like Assassin's Creed seems to be doing, there's always more interesting stuff to talk about, like Bloomburrow and Duskmourn. If Assassin's Creed bombs, like people are expecting it to, it will just get buried along the way. I won't say it's devious, just the way the hobby goes. I hear much more excitement for the new sets than I hear complaints about the expected failure of Assassin's Creed.
I was hoping for darker, creepier art from Duskmourn...hopefully still to come!
I saw Duskmourn preorders on Amazon this morning...then I saw the Play Box price ..$203.40....Yeah, no thanks. Boxes have basically doubled in price. $5.64 a pack @ that price. 🙄
Lol amazon preorder prices are irrelevant (and rarely a good deal). For instance, Bloomburrow: Amazon it is 170, but elsewhere it is $125
@@MerpDerp-hz9tt Using your math Duskmourn will be roughly $150 form your "elsewhere" outlets. So even if I give you the benefit of the doubt, compared to a 99 dollar draft box that's a 50% increase in price after only a few years. I however am not convinced you'll be able to find them for that cheap and still wouldn't purchase @ that price.

Draft box times are over cuties, it is what it is. No point crying about it :) won't change anything, never did and especially won't now in this economy. Enjoy the last draft boxes, era is over soon. Even those are going to be more expensive, sooner than later.
@@waifucards Except drafting isn't over. Play Box = Draft Box. It's literally the same thing but just 50 to 100% higher in price. Magic the gathering can't get rid of drafting. Play Boxes are draft boxes as you draft with them. I won't cry I'll just not buy. But enjoy carrying water for rich fat cats who sell over priced paper. 🤗

Definitely losing hope in duskmourn. TVs, chainsaws, other non aether powered technology. I understand steam and harnessed electricity powered inventions from the izzet on Ravnica, but this is just sad. All aspects of high fantasy have gone out the window with the game, which is just a perversion of what mtg was
It's a different plane, it's already established they have different time and technology levels.
If you don't like it, don't buy it. Vote with your wallet, just acknowledge you may be in the minority.
BTW magic has never been purely high fantasy.

@@MTGMOXMAN I thought with all the AI art cards that have gotten by her they would of replaced her by now. Not to mention the profile art style cards are ripped off from an artist that did movie alt screen prints. If the player community knew more about art they would see so many problematic things just with style alone.

my man completely ignoring these are japanese showcase variants. personally im not a fan of the enduring tenacity normal art (just looks really plain) but it's a more traditional mtg look. would suggest a little more effort into research before you go 'reee this looks like pokemon'

In terms of card values why isn’t anyone talking about the fact that the One Ring from LOTR is over $100 a copy. Will WOTC be able to reprint this card MoxMan after the IP contract runs out?
