I love to test things, so it'll come as no surprise to learn that I've been testing Cricut Infusible Ink on a variety of surfaces beyond the official Cricut blanks. The two big keys to determining what you can and can't put the Infusible Inks onto are MATERIAL CONTENT and COLOR. For Infusible Inks to transfer properly, they need to bind with polyester or polymer surfaces. And because the Infusible Inks are transparent rather than opaque, they need to be on white or light colored surfaces. A good Cricut Infusible Ink blank is one that has a hiqh polyester count or polymer coating and is white or pastel.

I love that you did all this! I feel like “Always check the label” will be in my head forever now.” It’s a good thing, thank you so much!
Yes...of course we would love, love to see the process. Thank You for doing all this testing for us, it’s nice to know we have other options! I love that you did the back pack because that is something I was already honking of trying for my kids for back to school, yay!
This is such a cool video Jennifer! I love how you tested with so many materials. Nice to know what works and what doesn't work. I also loved knowing what to look for if I'm not using the Cricut blanks. I so appreciate your testing! Can't wait to see the shirts. Have a great trip! Hugs, Brenda
I just made a lot of t-shirts and Koozies with the infusible ink. I watched one of your videos (not this one) and learned a few things trial and error on what I did. Pale colors work great!!! The more poly the more vibrant the colors are. I love how the pale pink, teal, and salmon colors came out. The best print that worked was the Tropical Flowers box. Thank you for your videos.
Excellent demonstration! Thank you for sharing your findings and the related details on pressing sandwich and the temperature settings. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan
Have a safe trip and thank you so much
And thank to your team that make all these possible thank y’all so much 💞

Jennifer always produces great videos... thank you! I really don't plan on getting into infusible ink at this time, too much additional money spent on new product and materials.
Thank you for watching!
I LOVE the puzzle idea
Thank you for trying out these blanks, it saves us so much time and supplies! By the way, I used the black pen ink on a hot pink t-shirt that is 40% polyester 60% cotton and it transferred pretty well. A little lighter in color but, it looks good!

Thank you so much - I watched a couples videos on this material when it was first out, then stopped because it was limited to Cricut blanks. Thank you for testing out all these things and letting us know why those that didn’t work didn’t work. I’m excited to see the t-shirts next week.
I do have 1 question- I don’t have a Cricut Easy Press, is there a way to make this work with an iron?
I love watching your videos. Can't wait use mine!!
Thank you for watching!
Hi Jennifer! I'm a newbie and you are my fave on the Maker so, THANKS❣🥰 QUESTION... if polymer is the key, what about coating solid things with a poly acrylic? Would this work for preparing say ....cork?...chipboard?
the last project turned out so nice!
Thanks!
