If you keep them in the amp they will likely get destroyed being shipped. When I bought tubes I made sure the seller wrapped them individually in bubble wrap and secured them in a seperate box.. The amp itsself was put in a large box with a ton of packing peanuts and styrofoam to hold it in the center..

I love the articles and info provided by CB Radio Magazine. They always provide a lot of good and accurate info to help with the hobby. However, in the case of the description of buying and selling on EBay there are a lot of inaccurate descriptions of radios, many of which are canned descriptions that EBay wants you to use. They keep calling SSB capable radios, 120 channel radios. The are not that or 40 Channel AM and 80 Channel SSB. Also look out for radios that have been keyed without antennas

I think its the mic cause I got a different antenna and it does the same thing lookin for a decent 4pin mic to see if it makes a difference hopefully thanks for the help brother much appreciated

I have alot of static in my radio but when i hold the cord near the base of my mic it goes away can anybody tell me how to fix it or y it happens

think you may have a break in the cord or bad earth/ground plane.
