Does the RMS-PEAK switch affect the Modulation Monitor mode? I noticed that you had it in RMS position when you measured modulation. Was it measuring an RMS value and would it capture peak values if it was in the PEAK position, or does that switch not do anything in the modulation mode?
So did you test this meter with no coax plugged into the antenna portion of the test center??? Just an observation. No one has noticed in 9 years?! 🤷♂️
Ha! You lads need to listen to GB3CB near Birmingham. The MARS 19 A COPY CB Club has taken over a once respected Midland Amateur Radio Society. M6 and the 2E0s are playing with their CB chatter talking bollocks as usual. M6s teaching others to get their buddies through the novice wire a three pin power plug exam to become M6s. One group was using the GB3BM repeater to run his business, getting his staff through the Novice exam, giving them Baofeng handies so they can report back to base using the repeater. One got his licence revoked, but is still working HF and sometimes heard on VHF / UHF. In six weeks I only heard him use a call sign once. Then he writs an Email to K6XIQ SCOTT FARTHING accusing others of blocking nodes, without a shred of evidence. Then the guy makes death threats toward those he accused and others too.. His brain cell had obviously sustained some sort of damage? He is barely literate yet a committee member of the new CB controlled club. I wonder if 2E0CLI would still like to kill me and the 8 others he threatened to kill. 10-10-until we do it again, gud buddy.

Does the jumper cable suppose to be same as antenna cable. If I’m using 213 from antenna to radio do I use 213 for jumpers.
Can you please post what pots are for setting up the correct wattage. I have a new one and it is way off!

ive had alot of these meters and they are good meters i can probably peg that on rms on my 3cx3000A7 :) 73s
So can you only check modulation on 4 watt radios???

those dosy meters always need to be calibrated when bought new. get a Palstar PM200A there set proper from factory & made in USA Ohio
