Andy’s whole life is a rivalry
Laptop : Microsoft
Phone : Google
Watch : Apple
@TheRealBandito But, then why does he use a Google phone with a Windows laptop? They really don't work the best with each other, Samsung phones work the best with Windows because of various collabs and tie ins.
Ballin but at what cost
Wow how does he use an Apple Watch with an Android phone? Apple Watches only work with iPhones.
@@aninditabasak7694 he does use an iphone 11 pro max only because he have an apple watch
@@loki.8435 What? What does him using Google and windows have to do with him somehow using the apple watch to be different? It's easily explained as he explained it, hence carrying a second phone which is just a hassle if you don't have to. Also, if you stick to Google Suites (which are perfectly available and common on windows), mixing Google and windows can be virtually seemless.
Android phone, AppleWatch, Windows laptop; So, Andy’s tech ecosystem is: Complicated
He is a real educated consumer 👏👍
I love that he has an iPhone just to use an Apple Watch. Should’ve gone with an iPhone so it works together better
@@ahappycoder2925 No, he should've gone with a galaxy watch.

I'm on S22 ultra, switched from the Pixel 6 strictly for the Fingerprint scanner. I miss the pixel 6 battery. After you have it for a bit, the battery really does adapt and makes it last based on your usage. It really is a smart battery.
I have had the pixel 6 ever since it came out and battery is really damn horrible.
I have to charge 2 to 3 times a day, not to mention coverage dropping amongst other things .
@@TheWaruiSama I got my regular pixel about 10 days ago and I can go the full day with one charge easy. Its been absolutely amazing except from the fingerprint scanner. Im on 5 hours 27 minutes screen on time today and still have 33% battery left.
I really dont see the battery problem with the normal S22. It last me all day still. But thats just me I guess.
@@TheWaruiSama that's a load of crap. I charge my phone once a day. Sometime I can easily make it last two days or easily get 9hrs of screen time on moderate use.
@@592Johno same for me
I've gotten the pixel 6 at release and after the initial bugging it really has become a great phone, many features i don't wanna miss anymore
Switched my Pixel 4 XL for a OnePlus 8 Pro. I really regret doing it, especially after the OxygenOS 12 update. It's so bad
@@LeeseTheFox never had a oneplus device but was my closest choice if the pixel wouldn't be there. Oxygen 12 was that oppo style revamp, no?
pixel 6 user here, after the march update the phone seems more reliable and as for the battery, it really did not last much at first but after using it for arounds 3 to 4 days the phone feels amazing
@@mienujjj same here
@@mienujjj i felt so too ... and then came the April update haha
I don't question may is fixing it again though
Yeah this video just gave me more love for my pixel 6 pro. Despite the fingerprint scanner, I think pixel really delivers a sweet android experience
Do you turn off 5G sometimes like they mentioned?
I've been using the 4XL too and this is exactly the kind of conversation I needed to hear. Thank you guys.
I got my pixel 6 when it came out upgraded from Samsung s10. It's safe to say it's the best phone I've owned. Beside the slow fingerprint scanner I haven't had any major issues that made me switch again. They're minor bugs here and there easy to ignore I don't use 5g or adaptive brightness. It's performance is very good and camera is great
I also had s10 and was debating between pixel 6 and s22. Ended up with s22, because of the price I got. I am glad to hear pixel 6 has been good.
I also had an S10 and bought a pixel 6. I find all the little software bugs really annoying. It's especially frustrating if a Google app doesn't integrate well with the phone. My favorite example is that RUclips doesn't reliably go full screen when you rotate the phone, and will often orient the video upside down. It's a nuisance that shouldn't occur. Every other phone manufacturer has figured it out, there's no reason Google's own apps shouldn't work seamlessly on their own phone.
I had a pixel 6 and it was a horendous experience. Signal drops take forever to come back, random bugs that's stick, shit Bluetooth, random battery draw, shit fingerprint, camera looks the same as my old pixel 3, super heavy. Sold it and got a refurb s21 and it's so much better
@@AssassinsFear really I didn't face any signal or Bluetooth issues... it seems like many people might have received faulty units. I saw an article it says if your serial number begins with 19 its likely that your pixel is more buggy
@@benson8686 I've had that RUclips issue before but it was no too frequent.. i didn't notice it after the latest march update
I would love to see a long term review of the s21 ultra
I've used it for about a year now. It's a great phone. Camera can replace your DSLR for most tasks. Only downside is it is very bulky and heavy. So I'm planning to sell it and get an s22
@@pathakkkk I really don't know your basic wish-list on a smartphone, but going from an s21 ultra which can give you approx. 7 to 8 hour Screen on time, to a phone that can barely give 3 to 4 hours on mobile data (my exynos s20 fe gives this much, I can say its a nightmare) can be a bad experience. If you don't really care about the battery life, then yeah you will have no problem.
@@pathakkkk I got the s21 ultra a few weeks ago. It's amazing. But it doesn't replace a DSLR in any way. Coming from an iPhone X the added focal lengths and brighter apertures make taking phone pics a blast. Compared to my real camera though the barely 12 mp resolution just doesn't hold up. Not even when looking at them on my phone. The detail in 100mp mode is way better but it sucks that there is no 24 or 36 mp downsampling because the actual detail it produces are no where near 100mp. Not even 50mp. So having 100mp files with 30mps of detail is just stupid.
@@barsrustuoglu2574 my s21u gives me 6-6.5 sometimes 7h SoT thats all.
Hey @mkbhd do this
Once I got used to how I had to position my finger, my Pixel 6 fingerprint scanner works great
Pixel 6 here, very happy with it. Tried the galaxy ultra from a friend and I envy the high refresh rate, but I feel I couldn't get pass all the bloatware. Plus I prefer the imaging processing of the pixel
I want to buy pixel 7 when it's released. Will you suggest me buying it based on your pixel experience?
@@saiteja8605 yes, go for it
I was an iPhone user from 3gs to 7 and liked it enough but lusted over the Galaxy S8 at the time. Made the switch to the pixel 2xl and never looked back. Had the Pixel 4xl and now the Pixel 6 pro. The only thing I hate is Apple's walled garden but I can easily get over that. My work supplies us with an iPhone 13 to 'stay connected' but I hate the interface and find myself reaching for my Pixel
I’m glad you skipped the 3 and the 5c or you would hate pixel
Andrew: I’m winning the fitness contest
MKBHD: let’s get back on topic
I've got an iPhone 13 Pro for personal things and a Google Pixel 6 for work and business. However I find myself using the pixel for a bunch of personal stuff as well. I'm really enjoying both phones 🙂
Love to hear this
Bro same. I recently got the Pixel 6 for work. It's great for all that stuff because of the flexibility in my opinion. Plus the windows compatibility. iPhone is great for personal stuff and social media.
@@Whomecouldntb3 I agree! Exactly what I did mate 👍
Same here 👌
Pixel 6 for me too. My only gripes: fingerprint scanner is indeed a bit slow and inconsistent. I much preferred face unlock on my Pixel 4. Also, I seem to notice lag and dropped frames in the viewfinder when I first activate the camera. Not always, but it's clearly a bug that needs addressing. Other than this the phone is fantastic.
Battery is average the first 2 to 3 weeks on the P6 Pro, then the adaptive battery kicks in and you will have an amazing battery life. The only problem with the pixel is the fingerprint. Can't wait for face unlock update which is being tested.
Fingers crossed for that!
I have same phone and my Pixel 6 pro has no issues. Infact, now my S21 ultra unlock appears weird to me (may b bcz of haptics)
Is it really that bad?? I currently have a pixel 2 and I see everyone complaining about the pixel 6 fingerprint scanner.
I had it since launch. It never got better
@@wldkhn456 it's not baaad. but it's just not as good as the competitors who are lightning fast.

ayo, the investment joke at the end kills me😂😂😂
From the worst battery life to 'holy cow how did they do it' crazy battery life, iphones have truly evolved
Idk about "evolved" but yeah they definitely improved their battery
I'm using the 11 and I almost never run the battery dry in a day. Most days I don't even see the 20% battery warning before I charge it again, and my screen on time average is like 8-9 hours a day, utterly nuts
It helps that they went from 1800 mAh batteries to 4500mAh batteries. That's most of it.
Worst battery you’ll find in a phone whet are you going on about. Android phones are up to 5000 mah. And iPhones haven’t even reached 3000
@@megami215 I think you misinterpreted his comment…
The only bug I have really noticed on my Pixel 6 Pro, is that the lock screen info doesn't show half of the time.
But I can fix it by just turning the screen off, then on.
Face Unlock on the P4 was great. I really hope they add a version of it to the 6 series using just the camera. Less secure obviously but for just unlocking the device it would be nice
Not at all. Hope they implement Soli radar chip into the Pixel 7 or a future Pixel. Pixel 4 3d face unlock was the closest any Android phone has ever come to Apple's Face ID.
I relate to Andy on the battery part. I freakout when the battery is below 50 percent . Ideally I always have it from 90 percentage till 40 maxxx.
I’m on iPhone 13 but I prefer the Samsung Galaxy Flip 3. Damn iMessage and the fact the family is entirely Apple. I’m really left out for group chats and no one wanted to install a messaging app (“Why, iMessage is the best. Can’t you just get an iPhone?”). So I’ve an iPhone 13 and the Samsung is in the drawer 😢
‘Ew’😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Killed me
You went on twitter and complained about the pixel 6 pro being buggy but yet you went and put your sim's card back in it that makes a whole lot of since
I'm currently using the google pixel 6. It's a great phone but its battery is not the best. The finger print scanner is slow and after the latest update the vibration is very bad. But for the money, really good.
I must have the best pixel ever. Great battery every night 45% every night. Fingerprint is slow. I miss 4 XL face unlock. but no other problem.
They should add IR face unlock back into the pixel series by making a sleek hole punch cutout for it
Interesting. I bought 2 Pixel 6 phones in January. The dealer had only one in stock, so I had to wait a couple of days for the second one, which I passed on to a friend. She has has no issues with hers, but mine has had no successes. At the advice of the telecom tech person, I did a factory reset on mine, and if anything, it got worse. It refused to mate with my car bluetooth, and even though I pressed "cancel" sixty or more times to stop its 10 second interval attempts, I finally had to shut it down to stop its incessant dinging. Now I just found out that somebody has been trying to text me for a day, but it wouldn't inform me of those! The guy drove for an hour to make sure I hadn't died! I like the camera, but it really isn't that much superior to my old Pixel 3XL, and the complete lack of performance in other areas renders it totally useless. It is such a dumpster fire that I will fire it in a dumpster!
I don't know how pixel 6 pro passed qa
Andy; Battery range anxiety at maximum if his phone go down at 50%...
Marquees: Oh you are one of those.... 🤣
I love outro of waveform clips
I've had no issues with my 6 pro since day one and I've even used the beta... No issues. Not one. But I agree. My pixel 4 face unlock was so spot on that finger print readers are trash period.
I highly doubt you didn't have any issues at all.
So all that controversy and "hot takes" for sake of "hot takes", only to end up back on the Pixel 🙄😂😂😂😂😂. Pixel phones always get better with time.
I just got my pixel 6 a few weeks ago and love it. my last pixel was the 3.
I also came from the pixel 3. Didn't expect that big of a camera difference, since I already was impressed with the 3, but man!
I really want a pixel but don't want to deal with it being shit after a year
Yeah biggest issue with Pixels unfortunately
I'm writing this off an old-ass Pixel 3A that's still working perfectly.
Despite the controversy i still went ahead and bought it online, it should arrive in couple of days, no regrets
Yeah don't get one.
I bought mine when it first released and I can soundly say that this is by far the worst experience I've had on a phone (this is coming from someone who has had many Nexus phones and the original Pixel, and love them!)
The pixel 6 is very ambitious, but they totally botched it. My gf has a pixel 5a 5g and there are 0 problems there, so it's all the more disappointing to have the 6 act the way it does. I got an iPhone to replace this one and I love it
I have the pixel 6 pro… however my Pixel 2XL is still a very capable device. So I’m not entirely sure I understand where you’re coming from
I bought the regular pixel 6 in January (in Hungary), and honestly, it's the best phone I ever had. I love it! I never had any major issues with it (not even minor ones to be honest). Yes, the fingerprint scanner can be annoying, but I use smart unlock with my fitness band and that helps a lot.
Had the same huge benefit from Turning off 5g on the pixel 6, also wish they would add face unlock even if its less secure, to have both like my old Oneplus would be great
I bought my Pixel 6 on pre-order (there was a great deal in Europe on it, as you got free Bose headphones with it). I loved the phone, but I kept having signal issues. In spots with weaker LTE the signal dropped and never connected back, missed many calls, caused a lot of headache. I got it replaced, and it had the same issue (on February update). Eventually, after many emails, Google agreed to have it returned and got a full refund. But I am sad, because I love the camera on the Pixel and the vanilla Android experience. I got an S21 Ultra afterwards. It's a great phone and it just works - waaay better connection, never had a drop. But... I still miss the Pixel.
My friend who just got a pixel is in the exact same boat. He loves the phone but it’s constantly giving him signal and connection problems.
Got mine for 350 bucksn🤣
@@varunnarain50 I've got those too. Switched from a Oneplus 3 which had them also. I thought that it's carrier specific.
i got the pixel 6 pro about 2 weeks ago swapped from iphone 12 pro max, and i love the phone alot besides finger print scanner its an amazing phone
Too many icons on an IPhone? He knows he can edit home pages and remove all the apps from the Home Screen right? There’s an app drawer on iOS now
Homepage on iOS is a hot mess
It's not an app drawer. It's just grouping of apps
@@androwindo no it’s an app drawer in alphabetical order , the grouping is just automated , swipe down on the groups and you’ll bring out the list

Switched from an iPhone 13 Pro Max to a Pixel 6 Pro just in time for the March update, and it has been great so far! Only slight downside is the battery life but its expected since the iPhone's was ridiculous
Also, I deleted Facebook a few days back and feel the whole phone running noticeably smoother overall so the initial jitteriness was probably caused by all the background bs its doing to track you
What was the main reason for your switch to the Pixel?
What watch do you use?
Facebook really is the culprit here
I get stressed at 50% battery life tooooo! LOL 😆
Should have gone for samsung
S22 or S21 ultra
Pixel brothers 🤣
Andy just saved my pixel experience. i live in the boonies no use for 5g and I was wondering why my pixel would die so quickly. That explains alot
The pixel fingerprint reader should have been the first thing they perfected because it's the first thing you use every time you turn on the phone. I can't see how they missed so badly with that.
I love the motion sensor on the Pixel 4xl, absolutely love it
I m hoping pixel 7 pro have it
Pixel 6 doesn't work on loudspeaker only which is absolutely a hardware bug as reddit is filled with other people with the same issue. It's the weirdest thing and ssssssoooo annoying

My only issue with my pixel 6 is adaptive brightness. It gets too dim in low light.
No need to mention the finger print scanner
With the pixel 4a 5g I had recently, adaptive brightness learns your preferences over time so if you feel it’s too low adjust the brightness to the level you want, and eventually the phone will go to that level in similar light.
You can move the icons onto a second page. That cannot be a reason to avoid ios
That’s what I’ve done. I have personal focus has just has the wallpaper and then a work focus which has my folders and widgets.
the pixel 6 is just great ! i love it!
I returned my Pixel 6 due to it dropping LTE a lot. And similar to what Marques described, it would take a long time to pick up signal again when it dropped. Seems like Google shouldn't have went with the Samsung modem.... Real shame as I liked the phone but this was a deal breaker for me. So not sure now what phone to get
Google used a older modem and that's why y'all was having the issues
I recently upgraded to an S22, the small one & I turned off my 5G, but not for the reason you gave! I turned it off because it wasn't getting any 5G in my area of Canada! That's maybe why my battery life is ok, compared to some videos I've seen, although I'm not a heavy user or much of a gamer! Great video by the way!
Me with no icons on my iPhone 13: “……?”
i have an iphone se 2020. hopefully i upgrade my phone. Either pixel 6/7 when that come out, iphone 14 when that comes out, or s22.
I am like MB's father. I'm cool with my Pixel XL OG having 8% when going to sleep and confident that it still will wake me up and have enough juice to scroll through some news in the morning. I am a light user. Get a few emails, occasional text, not many apps on the background or installed at all. Use web versions for some things instead of getting app to drain that battery.
All hail OG Pixel. I need a blue one for a collector's item
But there isn't software updates anymore right?
@@derdummeasi No more software updates. I just want the phone to have it
@@derdummeasi Not anymore. If i remember correctly last update was Dec 2020. The only problem i had with sensors stopping working after Google app update. Had to remove permissions from Google to steps, etc. And it stopped doing this. There are no Android updates anymore, but all the rest stuff works (Google Play, Google apps, other apps).
Family just upgraded to pixel 6 a couple days ago. I came from the S20 FE, wife and mother from the OnePlus 7T. So far so good. Finger print works fast enough, I do miss the face unlock. Wish they would send out an update to enable that feature. I read somewhere that the pixel 6's do have the capability built in and all they need is a software update?
Really i don't understand why 0.5s fingerprint make them so frustrated, why are they số hurry. Or just a reason to blame ?
The June update fixes nearly every issue mentioned with the Pixel 6.
I upgraded from my S20U to the Pixel 6 pro , man it's great , I haven't had a pixel phone since the 2xl and it was my favorite, this phone is great beautiful camera , love the software , performance is solid , the battery isn't all that great but solid enough , all around great.
I'm currently using s20U... The phone was a total disappointment for me.. camera is terrible.. I'm thinking of the s22U or pixel 6 pro or wait for z fold 4 or Xiaomi 12 ultra
@@dotkyo89 well if you willing to wait , you can see how the Pixel 7 pans out , all solid choice and I agree, The S20U was a let down (still performed great for me) but camera wise, that's really the disappointment came in , not that it was bad , just didn't live up to those expectations.
@@ortiztheinfamous2771 I think the shutter lag and the inability to take close up pictures really really bothered me.. for a phone that comes with insane specs and price tag but couldn't really do basic camera stuff. Battery on pixel 6 pro getting better with updates
Just wanted to throw my two cents in. I'm a reseller for T-Mobile, and I've noticed a few customers not getting 5G, myself included, despite the fact that your phone says 5G. Usually it comes down to an older SIM card. I had to replace mine as it was about 5-7 years old. It had been a long time. Maybe that's why at 8:30 you say you don't see any benefits. I had that same exact problem with my flip 3.
I’m a Verizon reseller and every new phone has a new sim when we get it in stock other then phones with a e sim like the razr or iPhone se 3rd gen. Do yours not come with SIM cards?
@@chappieq5805 since the iPhone 13 they haven't included them in the box. If the customer needs one, they're free at the register at the time of purchase, but if they don't that's less e-waste. It also makes it a little easier because it allows the customer choose to move their number to their new phone whenever they're ready, or to have me do it upon purchase.
But, in the past, if it was an upgrade, my T-Mobile tools didn't give me the option to update the SIM card, so they would still keep their old sim active.
E-sim is the way to go
Do you have e-sim in the states yet?
That part at the end is defiantly April fools troll
Using the S22 Ultra.... It's just beyond limit!
Once you start using the 10x optical zoom... You will never be satisfied again with a phone without it
Had the 6Pro for a couple months. Battery life has improved significantly. Med to heavy use and I get home with 20-30% still.
My biggest gripe is the narrow ultrawide camera and the lackluster video. Not deal breakers at all. Awesome phone.
I had an S10+ previously. Thing I hated most about that was how much Samsung would compress the hell out of images sent via sms, especially to iPhones. There are workarounds, but with my 6Pro, I don't need them. Now that Samsung comes with Google messages stock, I'm sure that complaint is a non-starter with the new Samsung S22 lineup.
Compressed images are largely at fault to cell carrier's, and I guess Google's for waiting so long. Google (and others) were pushing for carriers to get RCS handled so that we could all have a uniform upgrade. Carriers, being... well.. not people I'd respect, said no. So Google handled it.
Similar story with iMessage to Android, the fault is largely Apple refusing to agree to a standard and agree with any sort of integration. Thankfully that's somewhat changing soon. I'm not a Google fanboy, but credit where it's due, and point fingers where they should be pointed.
Andy speaking about missing the Pixel 4's face unlock makes me rethink buying Pixel 6 and going with the fingerprint scanner (I am currently using Pixel 4's face unlock - it's blazing fast)
There are two things that bug me about the Pixel 6 Pro. The slow fingerprint scanner and the curved display. It is a pain to access the 2nd page of the drop down menu & the "use as" icon when changing wallpaper from an image, solely due to the curved screen. Other than that, a great phone.
T-Mobiles 5G is insane. I have trash LTE coverage yet I have great 5G coverage....
Andy embodies everyone's dad.
I am sticking with the Samsung 22 Plus. I don't use the SPen. And I'm good with a 50mp Camera.
It amazes me how the 2/3rd America is using iPhones,
Also amazing is, yet most of the tech pro's from US have been using Android in their daily lives.
iphones are good. Always have been. Androids were utter trash in comparison for such a long time. That reputation for both sides isn't going to go away any time soon
Actually not many use android phones. Some might pretend to use it. To draw in more global audience may be

Rocking the 6 Pro in black icons skin, its sick 🔥
I’d love (hate) to see Andrew go through the torture that is daily driving my worn down and not properly charging Galaxy S9 plus that I have to deal with every day. The battery will drain from 100-15 in about 3 hours of moderate use. That last 15 will disappear in about a minute in a half, so when I get to that point I have to hurry to my charger. It takes about 5 hours to charge to full from that point, and you better not want to use it while you’re charging it because doing so much as texting will drain the battery as it’s on the charger. So my phone is unusable more often than not. I feel the same about not liking to see the battery under 50 and let me tell you it is hell.
Time to replace your battery dude.
@@harid4249 this back is broken from when it fell out of my pocket as I was getting in a car and it's nof going to survive being opened, but I don't have money to replace the battery and back. Pixel 6 owner here. You'll get use to not having face id don't worry
Rocking the Pixel 6 right now, no complaints but some bugs here and there (Mainly WiFi issues where I have to restart the phone to get the ability to connect to WiFi again which I'm hoping will be fixed in the April update)
Why do you guys get the pixel if it has so many issues. Especially the signal strength one. Small things like that add up makes it really bad.
Battery life on the phone gets better with time thanks to the adaptive battery feature.
congratulations on the new video platform... i have anticipated a platform and enthusiasts tech born from your tech experience and I'm glad part of that expectation is becoming a reality soon... much love
1st I heard of this. Where do you invest as they mentioned or is that later
I'm using the pixel 6 midnight black..
We are pixel brothers too 😍😍
I have the Pixel 6 Pro on T-Mobile and the 5G is terrible. It often indicates 5G but my webpage and data just spins to load. Also, my battery life has gotten really bad. My phone is at 15% by 6pm and I'm not a heavy phone user.
My P6P on T-Mobile 5GUC has been pretty great, near 500 down but like 26 up. I'm about 45-50 miles NE of Atlanta, Ga so no huge buildings and such.
At&t pixel 6 pro phone does not allow you turn turn off/switch from 5G to other bands. Only way is to completely turn off the cellular signal and use wifi. Thats it smh
So did I! Just went from S9+ to Note 20 Ultra (needed micro SD card, and wanted 1440p)
I, would probably choose S21 ultra
1. Not the iPhone cause iOS is extremely limited, you only get what Apple chooses to spit at you
2. Not the pixel cause the fingerprint, if it unlockes 1 second later than a capacitive one, I'll notice it every single time, and i'll hate it, and also it will be slow and laggy after 6 months, guranteed, I just don't know how Google, manages to fuck up Pixels in SOFTWARE every single time
3. Not S22 cause 8 Gen1 was made by samsung. not TSMC, so it's really bad in power efficiency, like exynos
Plus One UI has so so many extra features that once you use you just can't live without
Watching this on a Pixel 6 and I have to say welcome to the club! It's frustrating but it's so fun!
Honestly, people underestimate the Google ecosystem
pixel 6 was super disappointing to me and I went back to the 5. It's way to thick and heavy/big. I'm not sure what google was thinking.
I waited to get a Pixel 6 Pro for the initial issue, but so far it's been flawless. Only upgraded because my Pixel 4 battery was getting weak
Who needs 5G anyway ? LTE is more than you can use on a phone.
Got my pixel 6 at launch and so far it has been nothing but improvement for me. The only complaint would obviously be the fingerprint sensor.
Would have got the pixel 6 if it wasn't for all the issues
You don’t have to have a bunch of icons on the homepage in iOS
Can you re-arrange the widgets and place them where you want or do they still gravitate to the top?
I had a discussion to get the samsung 21fe or pixel 6
but in my region I was lucky that it was snapdragon 888 processor and am mostly gaming and running heavy taskes on my phone and am coming from my s9+
I will say am enjoying my 21fe and it a good phone the only complaint it the heat it get warm easily
