USC’s defense is a good argument against USC being a top ten team.
Any Lincoln Riley team ain’t had a good defence but hopefully being a elite team on the west coast can keep kids in state and make them a power house, I would rather college football be competitive then the sec dominating every year
Our defense is so bad I see no improvement the only thing that's keeping us alive is that we don't turn the ball over and somehow we get takeaways

Hopefully Riley is not a repeat of Kiffen and Sark. High powered offense, pourous defense.
Defense has been an issue all year. There's no rallying to the ball or gang tackling. Too many missed tackles, they really need to tighten it up, those are just fundamentals that should not be lacking.
I don't know about you, but it looks like they give up on plays too.

Those are the Joe Roth throwback unis from the 70s. Joe was Cal’s A-A QB during that period but past away of cancer before his senior year.
Each year Cal breaks out those unis for either their game against USC or UCLA.

Oregon beat cal by 18. The score was closer than the game was. Cal got a garbage time td.
Usc,in my opinion isn't as good as their ranking.
USC should've lost to Oregon State. If their QB didn't throw FOUR interceptions, the Beavers win. It's not like they were amazing plays by the USC defense either; they were just bad, bonehead passes.

Alex Grinch USCs Big 12 Jabroni Defensive Coordinator needs to be demoted to water boy. His scheme sucks period point blank. Every blitz is delayed predictable with stunts that are ran over and over again. Lincoln needs to bring in a NFL DC to coach this Trojan team.

cal lucky 4th q stuff.. not as close as the score says but this should have been a blowout.
People need to remember our top 2 receivers Mario Williams and Jordan Addison (top WR in the nation) Bobby Haskins and Andrew Vorhees are out. Our offense is still super deep as seen here. Also have like 3-4 key players out on defense this game.
Game was not as close as the score either Cal had a lot of things go their way in the 4th but no excuses should have took it away like 41-21 or max

USC dline kept pressure in the QB all fucking game!!! But our corners all medicore. But eith our 2 linebackers out it's exposed the defensive backs more. With the return of our linebackers we will cut off at least 2-3 touchdowns.
