I think the absolute worst one here was #20. As an offensive lineman I think hit sticking your own QB is the absolute worst thing you can do. I feel so bad for the guy too, he knows he screwed up and feels terrible.
It sucks cause you could see him process what happened, and then he went through the exact same movements/emotions when he realized the QB was hurt. (Im assuming he wasn't really hurt bad though, looked like the wind getting knocked out of him.)
Nah he was trying to make a block and just misread the direction they ended up running, a simple mistake. There are way worse ones in this list, most of them by quarterbacks or ball carriers making God-awful decisions to pass/lateral

Where is Georgia's touchdown after LSU's failed FG attempt? That has to be at the top of the list. When the entire team is walking off the field during a live ball and literally gifting the opposing team a touchdown I don't think it can get worse than that.

On #12, I was thinking that you can't really be too harsh on whatever craziness happens when you have one play to try to score a 64-yard touchdown... and then the QB just kinda gave up and didn't actually try to score. At least throw the ball somewhere!
I actually would have swapped 11 and 12, because at least that QB tried. Even if the pass does get broken up, there is still a chance for a pass interference penalty and an untimed down.
Yeah, that had to be maddening for GT fans. I mean, at least do SOMETHING! I mean, yeah, likely not going to get the TD, but you gotta at least TRY. If it's incomplete or intercepted, who cares? Just throw it somewhere and hope for a miracle.

I think #18 was actually a pretty smart play by the punter. Dropping the snap is never good, but that ball could have done anything, so thinking to kick it was smart and could have gotten it to the line of scrimmage. Just lucky that the Louisville defender got a hand on it
I think that more teams should try punting the ball from 12 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. It seems that it would make it easier to pin a team deep in their own territory.

The biggest one I would’ve included that wasn’t on here was Tennessee’s fumble on a botched handoff against Bama that led to a scoop and score in the 4th quarter. But also, as a UVA fan, I’m shocked we managed to not make the top 25, and can only assume we make up a disproportionate amount of what would’ve been 26-100 lmao

I'm surprised the Florida State toss play vs LSU at the 1 yard line is not on the list. I still remember that play as I saw it live and was dumbfounded at FSU did that on the freaking 1 yard line. I mean seriously.
Glad #23 made it. As a csu fan watching that live I had no idea what happened or how the ball ended up in the hands of the defender. The replay cleared it up but was a terrible play that his teammate wasn’t expecting at all
As a Wazzu fan, yes when our qb stepped out the back of the endzone, it was a bad play. But I really don't think it deserves to be #4 on this list bc I saw way worse plays than that
