menace to society
Ouch, he pulled that straight out
ouch
HE GOT A HALL OF FAME MEANCE TO SOCIETY BADGE
All I have to say is... ouch!
8:00 love how everyone committed to cheering on the squirrel to score
Lol same😂
Some of us in the crowd celebrated like it was a UofL touchdown lol 😅 The little guy even got the train whistle 🎉
That squirrel went first round in the NFL draft.
Squirrel blew his knee out in high in a past life.
Had to get that TD
11:52 is a battle of brains between the guy who ran 58 yards the wrong way, and the multiple people that chased him down.
Seriously. I honestly the people chasing him down might have it. Every other time I’ve seen a player start running the wrong way it’s a teammate who tackles him.
lol… I thought the same thing.
Why are they chasing him?
Oh yeah, so he continues going the wrong way of course. 🤪
Everyone is dumb for not realizing that you can't advance a muffed punt, so even if he had gone all the way to his own end zone, it would just be spotted where he picked it up.
@@TheMJfromTN But if he ran all the way to his own endzone, wouldn't that have been a safety? After all, he didn't >advance< the ball.
@@yaldabaoth2 No. It is dead where he obtains possession.
A fun one for Part 2: the time in 2007 when VA Tech was visiting GA Tech, some of VT's jerseys were stolen. Several VT players had to wear GT white away jerseys with "Yellow Jackets" marked out.
Thank you! I completely forgot about that.
wow VT tech had an awful ‘07
dang that got me thinking, that same year where VT had that sad shooting :(
@@auggieswartwood6113 they went 11-3?
@@Falconsfan1020 I wasn't talking about football...there was a shooting @ VT on 4/16 and about 30+ ppl were killed. Hence, awful '07
I love that the two one-point safety plays were called by the same announcer. And the first time he was like "?????" and the second time he was like "I've got this one covered"
The first one occurred in a 2004 Texas A &M -Texas game.
5:00 - “So I would say quite a few nerve endings attached to that dread there boys… Baller!!” 😂
I cringed so hard when I heard that haha
The "baller" has me in tears
Baller was so random and irrelevant lmao
i dont believe that ball carriers have such long hair, since tackling them by the hair is legal and very painful. are they trying to prove how tough they are? or just how silly?
Unc Charlotte had illegal jerseys vs app state in 2020 and were never called for it... it’s so unusual that the refs didn’t know to call it.
I could be wrong, but wasn’t that something to do with an equipment logistics error and they were forced to use their practice jerseys?
I think it was a sec rule
It’s up to the opposing coach to make the call or not.
No they didn’t.
@@footballtalkwithfreddy8684 Must be because I have seen Syracuse wear orange jerseys with unlined brown numbers and not get called. Also seen Oregon wear white with green outlined white numbers, same thing basically as FAMU.
That quadruple donk field goal miss is the perfect illustration of my asking out girls failure
Dang you down bad huh?
Down but never out! Just 4 times no but two yes so 😏
I ask a girl out yest she said no. I feel your pain. 😢

Kudos to you for including Duke scoring touchdowns on 3 consecutive plays! I remember watching that in sheer disbelief. What an insane run that the 2013 team went on
I was at that game my moms boss went to Duke he gave us the tickets. I was cussing that QB the whole game. I got PTSD flash backs when I saw that 2nd "throw" he made while getting tackled one of the worst QBs we've had
Jesus loves you
@@Bigburb1345 Jesus loves you and everyone have a blessed day God bless you and your families
Watch #88 at 5:27. Really one of the best hustle plays of all time
That guy got obliterated on the first run around then came BACK to hit the runner AGAIN 😱
WOW!!! Talk about heart! Amazing play!
I’m glad this was pointed out
good catch
Damn!!!
0:03 that White hat is Lee Hedrick. He was my high school geometry teacher. I remember him reffing my JV games my sophomore year then coming in on Tuesday and talking about it with us giving us advice.
very cool! thanks for sharing
09:12 When things like this happen, you know someone is destined to be a star. Went from a easy interception to a easy touchdown in seconds.
This was a really well researched video. Tons of plays that I’ve never seen before!
Glad you enjoyed!
Bruh that catch behind the back by the Nebraska guy was insane.
Jesus loves you
Rare moment: Michigan beating Ohio state in the 21st century
Edit: y’all Michigan fans annoying. Yes it did “age well”. Just because it just happened doesn’t mean it’s still not rare
The Cubs won the series. Anything can happen!
😆😆😆
For real though
Yeah, rare that “the game is relevant in the 21st century “

It's awesome how people were cheering on the squirrel. Get him a scholarship.
The squirrel gone get stomped
@@itsdesean squirrel was lost... like humans, in a sea of humans.
Very rare: Stanford’s Owen Marcic scored a touchdown on back to back plays against notre dame in 2010. Once as the fullback, and then as a linebacker. One of the last few 2-way players
Wow that’s insane

Animals running onto the field are the purest moments in sports
I was at that game... the crowd cheering on the squirrel was epic! 😂
For sure! Gotta stop the game anyway. So turn the cameras on him and let the crowd cheer!
Unless you are a bird flying across a Randy Johnson pitch......
@@chadbizeau5997 I like to think that's how that bird wanted to go die.
I would think that the sport would be the most pure sport moment in sports
8:20 "Man, he's my favorite squirrel." Classic 🤣
The best bit about the Kent State punt return is the defenders tracking him down and tackeling him
When you act on instinct and don't use your brain.
Isn’t the ball dead when he touches it? So it’s just kind of meaningless pursuit right
@@julianskowron7281 well the other team touched it so it was a fumble but in college that play was dead when he recovered it. So, everything after it didn’t count but was full of stupidity
@@arifleischer8285
It's a muffed punt not a fumble, which is why it can't be advanced. But even if you ignore that and assume the players didn't know that, why would you bother attempting to tackle a guy that is sprinting to the other end of the field to hand you two points and give you the ball back.
I have never ever heard of an illegal jersey rule.
Neither have I
Me fucking either
I have
Yeah, because you almost never see it come up.
I have taken Officiating classes, and the referees are completly right. Almost never do u see it enforced though, cause usually the teams have legal uniforms.
8:12 that was so wholesome! Even the crowd cheered haha!
01:20 I cant wait to see stadiums with shaky cameras again. The true CFB watching experience.
This was a really fun video to watch! I watch a loottaa football compilations but this one had a lot of new plays! Well done!
Look at #85 for OU I started dying when he got blown up 😂 6:40
It was a good block, but OSU still lost that game even with all that momentum lol
I stopped it to look for this comment. That poor guy. He didn't even have time to react.
8:03 “I like his pad level james” 🤣
2:26 is a fantastic job by the official. "Folks, you probably haven't heard this one before!"
1:43 Absolutely LEGENDARY accuracy. Cody Parkey could only wish he was that accurate.
The coaches would be impressed by, yelling and screaming at, or shaking their heads during these plays.
I have always wondered: when someone runs the wrong way (12:00), why does the other team try to tackle him? Let him go...
Right. They are acting on instinct, but it's pretty dumb obviously. However, it does bring up the question as to how to manage it as the runner gets closer to the end zone. The best strategy would probably be to follow along with him and then take him down just before he runs in for the safety. Then they can score 3 or 7 if it goes according to plan.
@@Eltercero I think you’d just let them go into the end zone to get a safety. Since it was ruled to have been touched by the return man, it would have been Kent State’s ball. So if you tackle him in front of the end zone, you would still have to get a defensive stop. Best bet is to get him in the end zone, get 2 points back, and get the ball back in good field position on the punt kickoff from the 20.
@@jameserickson5372 According to what I saw, the receiving team didn’t touch the ball. Therefore, the punting team can advance it backwards or forwards, but will not get position of the ball regardless. So I stand by my original comment.
2-points and the ball vs. chance at 7....... either is fine.
@@__hjg__2123 I think chance at 3 or 7 is better. But it’s kind of a win win. 2 is also acceptable with the ball coming back.
How was the announcer not more excited about the Arkansas lateral?
Ole ms fan
I think he got a little confused but the Arkansas call on it is really good so you may want to check that one out
I think he forgot that it was a lateral for a moment, so he thought the play was dead.
Dude clearly wasn’t paying attention. Called it incomplete.
i remember waking up and a play later the OSU vs OU interception happened.
As a Sooner fan I'd rather forget about that play.
9:13 that’s gotta be my favorite play in this video. That WR is a certified football guy. Turned into a DB and leveled the actual DB separating his man from the ball. You know he had to be a stud 2 way player in high school.
7:13 credit to the punter for giving his team a chance to recover that ball lol
3:12 - when you’re 3rd and Goal from YOUR OWN 8 yard line 😆
I don't know what is worse, running the wrong way or tackling a guy running the wrong way.
Had to tackle him or else it would have j been a 2 pt safety, better to try for 3 or even 7 pts
@@sticka7 fair enough, but would you rather have the ball on the 40 or the ball on the 25 with 2 extra points? And that's assuming he doesn't do what every other player does when they think they scored a touchdown, drop the ball.
The play should have been blown dead as soon as the kicking team gained control of their kick past the neutral zone.
If Part 2: ending to Old Dominion vs WKU 2018. All the untimed downs to flip the field and win! Wildest connection of events to end a game.
Or the CMU vs OK State game where the quarterback was called for intentional grounding giving Central Michigan one last chance and they won
Oregon/Utah game where the punt hit the camera wire. They were allowed to redo the play, and Utah faked the punt, running for a first down.
But let's be honest. The oddest end to a college football game is Cal/Stanford.
Just wanted to say this is an absolutely superb compilation. Just wanted to ask - how do you remember all this? Do you like have notebooks of plays?
Thanks man! I would say I memorize most of these plays just because I’m such a big college football fan haha. But I do actually have a list of plays on my phone. I just add any interesting, funny, or random moments to it that I see while watching games or old highlights.
That 1 point safety is a rarity for football at any level ... I thought I've seen just about everything on a football field and that was a first for me, I knew it was a safety but I have never seen that happen on a kick PAT .... interesting
Edit: Shout out to the announcer that said "I like his pad level James" about the squirrel lol
So I guess that's a 2nd way to get the extra point🤷
The previous year (at the cotton bowl), K-State had another extremely rare one. On Arkansas' PAT, they blocked it and ran it all the way back. That counts as a *defensive 2-pt conversion* -- this was their first score of the game making it 16-2 .
They went on to lose that game ofc, but I will never forget that play lmao
No one:
Absolutely no one:
Sports announcer: *quadruple doink*
Fun fact: the QB at 1:20 is Nick Foles, a Superbowl MVP QB who beat Tom Brady on the greatest stage
I picked up on that too. I heard the name foles then looked up where he went to college and one of the 4 collages he went to was Arizona and he wore the number 8. Fly Eagles fly 🦅
@@jasondangelantonio1752 im a saints fan but that superbowl was a very good game. Very well deserved by Big Dick Nick and the Philly Eagles
kaine folse one of the best Superbowls of all time. Funny stat: nick foles was the last Qb to score a touchdown on Brady in a SuperBowl.
3:23 3rd and goal from the 7 seems normal to say until you look at it
3:20. Is that going to be 3rd and goal from their own 7 yard line?
This was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen
PSC, Im just curious how do you find clips? Do you come up with an idea and search the internet for clips or what?
More or less yea. I do a lot of research for these videos and also have a lot of plays memorized.
@@pschighlights Alright bro. Thank you for making these videos for us.
Great video. I was at the Bedlam game at the 6:30 mark. One of those plays ypu just don’t forget.
I would say Owen Wilson announcing the Delaware Villanova game is indeed pretty rare
That last block was devious 😂
I'm still amazed in that Kent St-Towson one, that not only did the one dude have the brain fade and run the wrong way, but then the other team had the brain fade and tackled him instead of just letting him take it all the way to the end zone
It ends up not mattering anyway because you can’t advance a muffed kick. He would just be down wherever he recovered it. I don’t know why the refs didn’t blow the play dead immediately
@@jacobnavratil9841 Maybe they were too freaked out to do that.
@@jacobnavratil9841 Oh right haha. Perhaps they were like "he's not advancing it, he's retreating it, soooooo play on I think?"
The best part of that Oklahoma State tip ball play is the dude on the other team just standing there watching it happening and gets absolutely rocked
The guy literally runs the wrong way and still gets tackled by the other team!
Nobody said football requires a lot of brains
Third and Goal on their own six yard line! I wonder what happened on the next play?
"Get your foot out of my face!" So hilarious!
Never seen a 3rd & 94 before now. Thank you😀
Such an insane sequence of events. Hell, if any of the defense had gotten control and fumbled it, then they'd get a new set of downs! Sadly not what happened though. Nobody had control, just glancing contact all the way down to their own 6 yard line.
I'd just punt after that. You aren't scoring at that point.
@@MH_0015 no, they actually converted that 3rd down.
OK, maybe not.
Having the thumbnail be the first part of the videos is a fresh thumbs up 👍🏻
I like how they put duke scoring a touchdown as a rare moment
Or that it was 3 consecutive plays (except kickoffs) by the same player.
Poor Rice lol. If they had won that game they could have been in the running for the CUSA West spot since they beat Marshall lol
This just goes to show...sometimes it's better to be lucky than good
I like how at 1:10 the 2nd and 3rd guy just trusted their guy to make the catch that's confidence in your team.
I love how the squirrel stopped at the end zone.
I played for Bethune in 2010 and we had yellow jerseys with yellow numbers trimmed in maroon, we got the same thing but had to change the jerseys
The guy fixing the turf: “Prime time baby! Prime time! This what you meant for😈”
since he was porpably the one responsible for it in the first place i doubt he had a great time😂
"That's my favorite squirrel" haha love it
10:54 Best TD pass I have ever seen. Lots of great highlights here. Illegal jerseys--the #'s are clearly outlined. 6:50 How about illegal uniforms.
Take down by the dredlocks! Love it!
Grab and yank hard!
That Nick Foles pass was obviously incomplete. You can easily see the rubber kicked up by the nose of the ball when it hits the turf.
PAC 12 officiating at its most typical
I wondered that too. The ball is pointing almost straight up when it either hits the turf or his foot, and with the shape of the ball, it's entirely possible for it to bounce that way off the ground.
Eh the universe made it up to him eventually
1:36 I remember seeing this on TV and spilling a plate of nachos. good times👍🏻
8:49 I can’t imagine how many of those little pebbles they got in their cleats
Dude I got like a fishbowl full of them when I used to play and I only played one year
Great content! Best college football rare moments I've ever seen
So you can't have jersey numbers the same color of your jersey, but a blue field with blue uniforms the same color is okay?????
You sound like a Sooners fan. I would know, trust me.
By this logic green uniforms would need to also not be allowed
I hate that field!
Boise State threatened to change conferences if they weren't allowed to wear all Blue uniforms on a Blue Field.

These plays were crazy!
Great video!
I was at the illegal jersey game, we were all so confused
I was at the upturned turf game, we were all so bored
I was at the Nick Marshall pass to himself game. That was a fun season until the second half of the natty
The Kendall Wright touchdown was amazing!
You left out the kickoff from the 2019 OSU @ Maryland game. OSU kicker kicks it right to Olave who take it in for a touchdown. Coolest play i have ever seen.
The double double doink and the 1 point safety are by far the rarest.
And I'm shocked the ripped dread isn't way more common
Woo pig lateral is still one of the best plays in recent memory
Luckiest plays
1:13 Penn State’s Rafael Checa did the same thing against Appalachian State in 2018.
I’d say that Tracy Porter redeemed himself
I'm not sure how rare it is, but the Univ. of Louisville vs UCF had an exceptional moment this past week. Tie game with ~0:35 in the 4th quarter. UofL throws an interception. Then UCF immediately throws an interception on their first offensive play, but UofL runs it in for the game winning TD.
1:40 That ball clearly bounched off the glove and the tip of it touch the ground aswell as bounced off his foot. I believe that ball should be called an incomplete pass right?
Was looking for someone with this comment! You could CLEARLY see the turf kick up from the ball hitting the ground! INCOMPLETE PASS!
So I coach high school football, and the squib kick that went off of the upback and was recovered by the kicking team before halftime at 0:57 literally happened to us as well in the 3rd round of the playoffs last year. It was recovered by our senior kicker too so everyone was hype for him 😂
Ah yes, the one point safety. I love it
Yep, only twice in college football history!
How about a defensive 1 point safety? Oh yeah, it never happened.
@@pschighlights is it just a college rule?
@@pschighlights It's actually happened quite a few more times than twice in college football history. It's happened once in Division 1-AA, once in Division II, and at least four times in Division III. So, yeah, it's actually happened at least six times in college football history.
@@darkshinethakid4463 No, it's happened in the NFL as well, but not since 1940. For a long time, it was next to impossible to score a 1pt safety in the NFL, due to the defense not being able to take possession of the ball on a blocked PAT. The only way that could have happened while that rule was in effect would be if the PAT was blocked and the defense, without taking possession of the ball, batted it out of the back of the endzone.
It's also possible, yet astronomically unlikely, for a defense to score a 1pt safety against the kicking team/2pt conversion offense. This would mean the kicking team/offense would have to have a bad snap and fail to chase it down until it reached their own endzone (likely helped along by several fumbling attempts to recover the ball) and then failed to get the ball back out of their own endzone before the defense tackled them. This, for obvious reasons, would most likely never happen in the NFL because that would require a loss of 99+ yards in a single play, which has never happened in recorded NFL history.
In 2015, however, the rule not allowing a defense to take possesion on an INT, Fumble Recovery, or blocked kick was lifted, allowing the defense to potentially run these forms of turnovers back for their own conversion. So, since that is the case, the likelihood of us seeing a 1pt safety in the NFL in our lifetime rose considerably. Obviously, even with that rule, this is still a very rare way to score. It's so rare, though, that I wouldn't be surprised if there are players in the NFL or Division 1-AA who don't know that's a possible way to score.
1:40 you can see the tip of the ball touch the ground, that should've been an incomplete pass
7:18 best tackle i’ve seen by a college kicker
When you punt on 4th and goal…
3rd and goal from your own 7. LOVE IT!!
Ohio’s kickoff team reminds me of the onside kick from The Waterboy. “Oh yeah that’s my bitch.”
the Washington one at 1:19 ... you can see the rubber pellets from the turf when the ball hits the ground. Did they have replay back then?
Some of these clips makes you think that maybe madden is realistic
5:18 that can't even happen in madden
@@geleneceline2310 that’s why I said some of these clips
I somehow watched BOTH of the 1 point safeties live on TV. The UT/A&M game on thanksgiving when I was a kid and the Alamo bowl with Oregon and Kansas State a couple years ago

11:19 was Tennessee football from 2008-2020 summed up in one play. This play does NOT get talked about enough in terms of just how bad Tennessee’s luck was in those years.
