The one where the QB faked the slide and then scored. It was from that play, that a new rule was established that faking a slide, it is automatic dead ball at that spot.
RG III did the same thing in the NFL and got broken in half because of it.
Kenny P baby
I was just about to comment that that play should be illegal...glad it is!
Good.
I was just about to say there needs to be a rule against that because they penalize the defender if they hit the QB during the slide.
When the cameraman is fooled you know it’s good
when a QB slide's the defenders have no choice but to stop, that's why the rule needed to be created.
nobody gonna mention how at 3:16 dude literally got picked up and slammed
BY GAWD KING HE'S BROKEN IN HALF!!! THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY!!
The commentators in the clip mentioned it, i think everyone picked up on it after that
@repentandbelieveinJesusChrist1npc
It was a great WWE audition
Ya I was more concerned if a Spinebuster was legal in football than the trick play
5:36 Is no one going to mention the guy who just stands up and falls down?
I seriously don’t understand why he did that 😂
I thought little buddy gave up the ghost.
Yes, someone answer this question. WTF?
I really want to hear what was going on there lol
He tried to be a distraction. That is literally all it was. The only reason yall are confused is because it didn't work. Lol
I wouldn’t have noticed the formation without the red arrow. Thank you for showing me where to look….
LOVE UR COLLEGE FOOTBALL STUFF
CORRECTION : 5:36 has changed my original stance. the other one is "and it worked" this one is in general cuz what the fuck was the actual plan there G
3:39 NAAAAAH. that HAS to be arguably the CRAZIEST "so crazy it just might work" moments of all fucking time 😭
Faking a slide just feels like cheating. 😂
It is. It’s now illegal to do that “trick”.
its called the Kenny Pickett Rule
@@DocPicklez 👍
It is now. And the bills made him pay for it
That very play is why its illegal now
Halfway through the video and seen what i would call 2 really good out of the box plays,
You know a trick is good when a new rule is made prohibiting it after it happens. Quite a number of new rules have been made because of trick or unconventional plays that had no written rule around them.
Rules should cover all things that can happen in a game. Allowed or disallowed, there should be a rule about everything.
@RoyalMela Trust me, and this is from decades of corporate experience. No matter how many rules you make or policies you implement, someone is always going to find some way around the system. Some loophole that isn't defined or technicality that can't be challenged under the current system. Trying to cover everything only results in a huge book where 95% of it isn't used 95% of the time.
Heck, this has already happened with the US Tax Code. Over centuries, people found ways to avoid paying them or convinced courts that part of it was unfair. Now there are so many rules and exceptions that the code is now nearly 7000 pages long, 75000 pages if you include the guidance documents. That's the equivalent of reading the entire Harry Potter series 19 times.
That red light really helped me, lol
Ngl this channel and video is getting so much hate that it doesn’t deserve. I like this video so keep it up.
a magnificent sport, I'm French but if I had been born here I would have played football that's for sure. thank you for these images my friend

1:25 holy shit bruh. i will never forget that play cuz i just HAPPENED to be changing channels and went passed the channel with this game and stopped as it was happening and instantly said. welp. no way they dont make a rule about that now 💀
3:35 Bro Just Picked him up 😂😂😂
Ain’t nobody talking about but how at 8:12 man did a cart week 😂😂😂
cartwheel?
Yes
There was a play Incarnate Word or Presbyterian did to Wake Forest where they bounced the screen pass to thw WR and he threw a TD off the catch
Who is the announcer @ 5:13? That voice sounds familiar, does he do AUDL now?
You know its a good move when the camera man get juked as well.😂
Lol play #6, I was like “as cool as the play was, you’re still getting your asses whooped 😂”
It was a forward pass.
@@jovetjOkay and your point is?
I like how the guy doing a back flip was circled. I never would've noticed otherwise.
Would it not be ruled down during the ND pass when he passed with his knee on the ground?
How is it that Boise state didn’t make this reel in the fiesta bowl win against Oklahoma?
why are 60 percent of these wake Forest getting embrassed
That's 60% of their history
always exciting to see a player that isnt a WR score
just wondering how the second one wasn't downed...i thought once after the snap when the ball touches the ground while in a player's hand its considered down. can someone please let me know if this is right or did i miss something. Thanks
seeing an unironic nathan peterman highlight is craaaazy haha
Estos vídeos son los mejores, encuentro que los partidos de college pueden ser más divertidos que los mismos de los nfl
love the no commentary :) Still love you though!
I love this
Trickeration at its best!
Alternate Title: 18 randomly ranked mostly failed ACC only trick plays (some duplicates)
Did 67 get an injury from the touchdown at 5:33?
So if you play in the ACC, you gotta have trick plays it seems. That’s what I took from this.
Why would a trick play resulting in a turnover be shown?
And another one that failed to get the first down resulting in a change of possession?
Any reason these are all ACC clips?
Why did almost all of these happen with pitt or against wake forest
amazing
0:44 I had to watch this like 5 times to know what's going on
Not sure, but I think every one of these highlights came out of the ACC. Not sure if that’s a comment on the creativity of the coaches in that conference or a lack of ability to maintain your lanes and play decent coverage by the defence. lol 😂
damn in the thumbnail Michigan played Florida state, they're both undefeated this year so surely they will play again right?
The ACC is so unserious 😭
1:30 thats why sliding qbs get nailed in the NFL. Either get down or get taken down
4:03 the best one
These are all from the ACC network... that raises some questions.
I was at the Louisville Boston College game
is this just the ACC conference highlight reel
Hey bro
The Syracuse QBs fakes were beautiful.
did i just miss it or did the OU/Boise State hook and lateral not make the list ? ? . . . . Sooners became famous after that play & game.
I have heard of hook and ladder play…is that what you meant?
1:13 This is straight out of anime.
10:49...
When the ball was snapped to him his knee was down..while the ball was in his hand his knee was down...he then threw the ball with his knee down...........if he would have taken the snap hovering like an MLB catcher then it would have been good.....when he got the snap with his knee down the only advancement of the ball could be through a kick...
And he is a holder and he can do all that legally.
Special exemption in the rule for kick holders to make a play with their knee on the ground from kick formation. Otherwise the play would be over before the kicker made the kick, right?
2:50 QB has almost 200 yards rushing and they didn't put a spy on him even after they did this same play at the beginning of the game? I don't watch college football, so is it typical for them to just not change their scheme mid way through the game or was this just bad ball by the defense?
Eh, both, it really just depends on coaching tbh
crazy

Craziest "Trick Plays" in **ACC** History
Kenny picket is in nfl now
No michigan thumbnail play.
5:00 - the receiver was never touched. He should have gotten up and walked into the end zone.
Not in college football. In the NFL, yes, you need to be both physically down *and* touched by an opponent, but in college rules the ball is dead if the ball carrier is physically down.
❤❤❤❤❤
The play where all of the O-Linemen dropped to the ground, shouldn’t they have been called for a penalty because the linemen were downfield before the pass??
In college the linemen are allowed to go downfield after a screen pass.
To clarify, in college, the illegal downfield rule only applies to passes that go forward past the line of scrimmage. If it’s caught behind the line, there’s no downfield violation.
anyone gonna talk about how they were all acc teams
You know all of the couches rode Greg Schiano's ass for playing aggressively on QB kneels, yet here teams are running trick plays off of it. You can't have it both ways. Either kneels are symbolic or they are actual plays to be played.
Why was #7 down? Defender didn’t touch him.
These must all be ACC games because he won’t get a copyright strike. But at least say in the title that it’s only ACC history smh
Wake forest seems to be the team everyone try's to Run Trick plays on SMH lmao them and Boston College
Why don't we see these in the NFL?
Never understood when the OL shifts to the Wide Out position, why do the DL and Linebackers go out there too?
The OL can't catch passes. That should be a easy sack with one guy blocking.
The multiple Offensive Linemen in this video that caught touchdown passes clearly indicate otherwise. It is actually fairly easy to catch a ball when nobody is covering you, even for Linemen. This is a great example of why other people are coaching teams for a living and not you.
why was this just ACC glaze...
The best one is @2:38.... Syracuse shows mercy and doesn't run up the score... so what does Purdue do???? They call a frikken Timeout.......
9:42 Illegal snap no?
5:47 what the hell was the plan here?
Never watching a college ball highlight reel again. Most of these was just dumb football
Thats nick chubbs brother on number 8
kenny pickett faking the slide knowing the defenders didn't want to get penalized is why I get immense joy from him getting fucking demolished in the backfield these days. oh he got hurt? wonder why...
The play was legal back then. Your life must be very miserable if you find joy in injuries for a player who did a perfectly legal play.
@@justinharper6909 no the fuck it wasn't. player is down from the beginning of his slide. he started a slide. should have been brought back. it was a pussy move and he knew they were gonna let up for fear of getting ejected.
@@justinharper6909 if you can't score because of your ability and have to use some pussy ass move like that? I have no respect for you as a player. he sucks in the NFL too
2:47 football newbie why did he choose to go down rather than score the TD?
Leave it to the ACC the nerdy conference to have the most trick plays
PLEASE. Not only is this list centered on just a few teams, it barely escapes the 2020s. Not even at the bottom of a Top 100 list. That being said, I watched it AND made fun of it...🤔I
You know it’s a good play when you fool the cameraman 😅
😮
Thank you for the "BIBLE VERSE OF THE DAY" !!! 1 Peter 3-15 "But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect"
Why is it all just ACC plays
9:30 How is this not an illegal shift?
Everyone was set and the snapper didn't move. GB did something similar vs KC last week, no huddle quick to the line center touched the ball the got into a huddle but without the center
I think the better question is, how can the person who snaps the ball be an eligible receiver? The snapper caught the touchdown.
How is the Campbell play not Ineligible Man Down Field? 😂 the whole damn line is.
Both passes were behind the scrimmage line.
@@korycostango5327the first pass was backwards, I get that. The second pass is a forward pass tho. No offensive line can be down field on a forward pass. Doesn’t matter if it crosses the line or not.
@@zachevans27in college it does depend on whether the pass is behind the line or not. In the nfl there is no difference but in college it is different (same for offensive pass interference rules).
what was up with #9?
and 13
and 18
Football is just a ruff sport, not to mention a bloody stain. I heard on Sunday the eagles are play on that time. I thought football was for the season fall. Is their any way to solve this? I like soccer better⚽️
3:39 how was this not a penalty? ALL of the offensive linemen were well forward of the line of scrimmage when the forward pass was made. Shouldn't they all be ineligible players downfield?
Line of scrimmage. Pass was behind it so it allowed for O-line to block downfield.
Yeah that had me confused for a bit too. Like RoyalMela said, O-line can block downfield since the forward pass was caught behind the LoS. I also found out that the "neutral zone" where the O-line can be at in the NCAA is ~3yards from the LoS, but it supposedly doesn't get regularly called even when they are ~5-8yards downfield.
It was a backwards lateral so it’s technically a run play meaning that Ineligible man downfield is not going to be called.
Am I the only one who got this video when i searched tricks play in football? ⚽️
🤣
thanks for the replays, and making rules to prohibit trick plays is stupid, dumbs down the sport.
Some of these are not trick plays lol
5:36 what was up with this one?why’d he just pass out and then the team turned the ball over lol
