    For the Animal Feed load what did the man from TQL mean about first come first serve? I thought once you sign the rate con it’s your load. I’m kind of confused for that one.

      That's just for the driver. It means the shipper or receiver does not take trucks by appt and you can arrive any time within a certain time frame. They will load or unload trucks in the order they arrive. Thanks for watching!

    I see that all drivers here are working SOLO, live load/unload, from early morning to evening (mostly 1-day load)... My question here will it be the same if you were dispatching for teams (and not picky)? the same procedure of work or easier!

    Running 4 trucks how many hours a week do you work? What do you do when you go on a vacation?

    • @NeverStopTRK
      @NeverStopTRK  2 года назад +4

      I put in anywhere from 20 to 40 hours a week, depending on a lot of factors. When I go on vacation I talk to my drivers and ask them if they want time off or not. If they want to work, I bring my laptop and dispatch them from there :)

    Great video as always. What software do you use to track your drivers ? Is there a whole lot more that I need to learn in terms of applications and terminology in order to be qualified to work for a company as a dispatcher ?

    • @NeverStopTRK
      @NeverStopTRK  2 года назад +2

      No specific software that I am using. I track drivers via the ELD system. I advise everyone to work for someone for a while to gain some experience.
