Where the lady stopped you for a massage is where im staying at an Airbnb for the past few days in the doorway to the left. When i arrived here i thought to myself ive seen this somwhere and low and behold it was your video hahaha! Everytime i enter and exit the building they are like parasites swarming you lol. Haven’t seen a video from you for about a wk now, hope everything is ok 👍🏽
I've been planning to go to Vietnam with my friends since last year. Hopefully it can be realized as soon as possible hahaha.😊 I really enjoy your video, have a nice day in vietnam
There is a vast difference between the North and South of Vietnam, even in the Middle. We have some different dialects, per se, so if you originate from the south, you cannot understand some words when traveling to the North. The people are also different, Southern usually described as blunter, yet friendlier, and Northern are usually more "fake?" like they sometimes offer or said to you sth but mean the opposite way :) The tone and pronunciation of words are also different (personally, the hardest to hear is from the Middle regions - especially Nghe An, Ninh Binh is the province which has the most correct way to pronounce words; the North usually lisp between "L" and "N," South, depends on region lisp different sound, and you might differentiate originate of a person based on how they speak). The food tends to be sweeter in the south (we like sugar) compared to bland, simple in flavour but complex in cooking methods in the North; saltier and spicier in the Middle region (Da Nang).
Haha I am not sure I would be able to differentiate between dialects seen as I can’t even speak Vietnamese but it’s interesting that you say that. Some people told me that the people in south side are allot more relaxed than up north and that the culture in Saigon is generally allot more easy going than in Hanoi. So far I am loving Saigon though. Do you mind if I ask if you are Vietnamese (because your English is quite good!)? Thanks for the insight! 🙏🏻
i'm no expert Jarod however i'ma prepared to go out on a limb and suggest the mega commenter above has some close connection to the region

@@Jarod_Abroad yeah haha, I'm Vietnamese. You might find lots of young Vietnamese now, especially in large cities can speak English quite good. But thank you for the compliment 🥰
