Great to hear you using some Thai my man. Big respect. Been learning myself for just over two months and was able to understand you. Great way to show respect to the Thai people 🇹🇭🇹🇭❤️❤️🙏🙏
It is my first time to take a walk inside Nong prajak with you 👍🎉🎉 Thank you kaa
True. There are good things and bad things in each of every country on earth. That should be plenty for someone to make contents on RUclips.
Nice. I didn't realize Udon Thani is in Isaan.
I like people I don’t mind crowds! I lived in Newyork Toronto I live in cebu I’ve been to Thailand Bali for me it’s all fine. This is all in your mind. Also depends how old you are as well I guess.
Personally I also prefer being in big cities, Bangkok is literally one of my favourite places in Thailand, as well as Krabi and Khon Kaen. I guess this is something which is a bit subjective, but with that being said Thailand does also have a few spots where there are not many people at all if that is what you are looking for.
Lots of places in Thailand that is not over crowded
The video is good. Tourist need to know this aspect of Thailand so they can prepare themself what they might encounter here. The more people prepared the less people will get scam then Thailand’s reputation will get better little by little through time.
Thailand is disgraceful. None of you actually know the culture . Thais were never a "good" people. Do your history .
Sure, Bangkok is overcrowded (of course), but the physical size of Thailand is TWICE as big as the UK with roughly the same population.
Thailand is an overcrowded sh*tshow. The government is corrupt and in complete disarray. I have lived here for years and we are leaving in December
The city I live in has 25 percent Thailand's population.
One thing tourists need to understand is that in urban society like Bangkok and major tourist spots, they need to understand that local Thais will work and live honestly. Currently, Thailand has a population of people who have infiltrated from many countries to work, trade and compete with Thais in tourist areas and commit illegal acts such as begging, stealing and other crimes from neighboring countries around Thailand. They look like Thais and can speak Thai. Many groups come to cause damage and blame Thais. Tourists cannot tell the difference. Thais know this well. There are millions of Burmese people who immigrate to work and millions more from Cambodia, Laos and from Southeast Asia and those who come disguised as tourists. If you love Thais and love Thailand, please be our eyes and ears and avoid bad people.
Very accurate, polite, neutral, and reasonable. This is called a real Thai person.
Well I have never heard of Burma people attacking, rapping or murdering a ferang its usually Thais when that story comes up. But Burma people may do something sneaky and underhand against a Thai or foreigner to try to make money. Its happened to me, I was drugged one time in Myanmar (luckily the tour guide took care of my money), and the worst I experienced was a Shan worker trying to set me up with a compensation claim - but failed. So yes, I have experienced it but its not that common.
No country in this world is 100% perfect. It depends on adaptation and attitude. Perfection is our heart, our own mindset. Thailand is just a developing country. How can it be like a first world country? Don't expect a developing country like ours. Too many tourists make it difficult for locals to live. The cost of food and goods is more expensive and not suitable for the income of most Thais. Whoever says Vietnam is good, stay in Vietnam. Whoever says Cambodia is good, stay in Cambodia. Whoever says the Philippines is better, go there or somewhere else in the world. No one forces anyone. No one says whether you like it or not. But people who are biased, no matter how good they are, they are still bad because those people are just selfish people who like to make others follow them. Let them be.
Very good answer, very clever, very correct.
To me Thailand is perfect though, its quite hard to speak about these types of topics because I am very biased about Thailand, it’s literally my favourite place in the world. I will say though that even though Thailand is dealing with a huge wave of tourists each year, they are doing a great job in adapting to the challenges that comes with it. I believe within the next 10-15 years Thailand will be allot further than most other countries in SEA, and allot of foreign countries likes to collaborate with Thailand and keep diplomatic relationships good because I guess they also favour or see the potential in the country 🙏🏻
@@Jarod_Abroad up to you . I don't khow .what happend
Tourism is only 7% of Thailand's GDP
It is still a large amount of capital being injected in from a single sector of the economy.
Why the miss-information? Thailand will not tax income that is already taxed in countries that have a tax treaty with Thailand, which is majority of the western countries.
There were statements released at the time of making that video of the possibility to implement laws which would affect the way that foreigners are taxed. Of course Thailand has tax treaties, this is more about the way Thailand is constantly changing the rules for either better or worse, which I will add since this video was made, turned out to be exactly what happened with the announcement of the DTV visa and the 60 day visa on arrival and now also the announcement of plans to ask over 100 countries to apply for the visa on arrival online before arriving in the kingdom.
@@Jarod_Abroad Dey been pretty clear from day one that there will be no double taxation.I'm still not sure what the fuss is about. Surrounding countries have had the same tax laws for years now. Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam all tax foreign earned income.
One of the most popular tourist destinations is crowded with tourists? A tropical country has tropical weather? Crazy insight mate. Ps. PM 2.5 just means the pollution particles are less than 2.5 microns. These are present everywhere, especially in highly populated cities. Yes, Chiangmai has a pollution issue due to burning season which is generally between Feb - June. Outside of those months the air is perfectly clear. And no even during burning season, the air will not burn your eyes, don't know where you got that info from.
Thanks for confirming everything I said in the video, and I mentioned that your eyes burn from actually being there and experiencing it myself in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Mae Sai so I guess I could have mentioned those places too.
@@Jarod_Abroad Yeah but it's worth mentioning the months that it actually happens, otherwise you are just fear mongering. And the way you said it makes it sound like a Chiangmai/Thailand only issue. Saying "Chiangmai has this thing called pm 2.5" is like saying that "New York has this thing called Tetrahydrocannabinol"
There’s no place that’s universally perfect. Different people have different perspectives. Some may like it, while others may not. It depends on what you’re doing, where you’re heading next, and what expectations you have. Sometimes, it’s better to go where you truly should, rather than following where others have been.

@@ilovecatsandgyat To each their own brother!
Mate this is one of the fairest and most balanced videos I have watched on Thailand. I absolutely adore the place, the culture and most of all the people, is it perfect? No, but it’s about as close to perfect as we’re ever likely to find. An absolutely wonderful country.
Thank you sir! 🙏🏻🤝🏻
Explain the culture that you love so much .. There's perspective, and then there's reality . Thais realistically don't want you staying in Thailand. Every Thai will agree 👍 only colonizers deny that fact.
Welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭 bro 🙏🏻!

Who even goes to overcrowded and overpriced Phuket these days? Thailand has much, much nicer places to offer for a fraction of the cost
I will say it’s not a bad place for holiday, but to be honest I can think of a few better places to go to in Thailand!
Hope more Russians travel to Phuket there so kind an friendly
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I think what he meant by “you are easy to scam” is because you have a boyish face with that hat . I remember you said you want to want to blend in. You were probably joking but you definitely do not look blend in. If you notice, only women wear that hat, not men.
Where have you been? I haven’t seen you upload your videos. Is everything ok with you? Thanks 😊
I have been quite busy lately but I just started uploading again, stay tuned brother! 🙏🏻🤝🏻
Hi Jarod, you should search for PHO HOA on pastuers street.. super good .. Best PHO in town.. Lets me know what you think after you try it.. :) Have a safe and good time adventure in Vietnam!

Where the lady stopped you for a massage is where im staying at an Airbnb for the past few days in the doorway to the left. When i arrived here i thought to myself ive seen this somwhere and low and behold it was your video hahaha! Everytime i enter and exit the building they are like parasites swarming you lol. Haven’t seen a video from you for about a wk now, hope everything is ok 👍🏽
I am okay! I have just been super busy for the last 3 months, but I am back now and there is allot more to come! 😁🙏🏻
Thanks for Video ,
Of course! There’s allot more to come!
How do you make money though? Im trying to save up lol but its taking forever
I have tried multiple business in the past but my best advice to you would be that there is never a right time to take the risk you are thinking about or go to the places you want to go, sometimes you just need to take a chance and figure it out along the way!
Thailand it's everything overcharged it's not any cheap, they have better opportunities, Thailand destroy it's self by stupid policy's
I wouldn’t say that, their are certainly some areas which are a bit overpriced but it is because they are trying to make the most of a huge population of tourists but in other areas the cost of living is extremely inexpensive compared to most western countries!😁🙏🏻
America has a tax treaty with Thailand so this has no impact on our taxes
🙏🏻
The reason i left SEA ( i missed my parents, cousins, siblings, ect ) i have a 5 year visa, i go for 1 month to visit my wife's family in Vietnam...but thats it
Yeah, spending allot of time abroad has its pros and its cons, the only reason I would ever consider leaving is probably just to go see my people back home!
I saw it in beppu, Japan
I haven’t had a chance to go to Japan yet, but hopefully this year or next year I will make a plan to go!
That's not strange. It's called cloud iridescence. We learned that in Earth Science during elementary school.
It’s the first time I ever saw it so for me it’s pretty strange haha I thought it might have something to do with recent news about solar flares around the world 🤔
Very cool park! Thanks for sharing! I love how everyone feels safe and at easy in public spaces. Vietnam seems to be a pretty safe place.
As far as I can tell it is pretty safe here although its good practice to exercise situational awareness no matter where you go in the world
I bet a good photo of that cloud could land in a calendar somewhere. Not sure if it’s cause of weather patterns or that weird solar flare activity lately. Neat anyway.
I was thinking the same thing! Have you seen anything strange lately?
@@Jarod_Abroadnot here in Canada, but I don’t get out much, and am landlocked so the humidity is not as high. Looks like it’s about to rain Skittles over there.
You ate that thing called "giò quẩy," "bánh quẩy," or "quẩy" in general, a type of Chinese-influenced fried dough. In the South, we only have 1 kind of that: soft, big one; the North has another crunchier and smaller type. How you eat it is also different; the South only eats it with congee, while the North uses it with every soup dish, like the bread in French cuisine. Eating it alone with fish sauce and a bit of chilli is also common in the North. So naturally, it won't have lots of flavour except a hint of sweetness when chewing it, it can also soak up lots of liquid because of its fluffy texture. It also provides a bit of oiliness and fat per se to the dish as it is fried.
It is a bit bland but like that guy said it might be better with some sort of soup or “Pho”. Thanks for sharing! 😁🙏🏻
