This is your best video so far , getting better all the time keep going it will only improve. Love the natrural way you move about and give information as you go.
Pho Beef (Beef Pho), Pho Ga (Chicken Pho), Com Tam (Vietnamese Rice), Com Tam Xuong + Bi + Cha (Special Vietnamese Rice dish), Banh Xeo, Cha Gio, Goi Cuon, Banh Cuon, Banh Canh, ... those are some affordable dishes that you can try first. If your pocket is big enough, you can try Vietnamese Seafood. All Vietnamese foods are delicious, healthy, and cheap. They are way better than Thai, Korean, Japanese, Cambodian, and Lao foods. I lived and worked in East and Southeast Asia for over 17 years before I retired and moved back to the States to be near my grandchildren before we faced the pandemic.
So far the food here is amazing, thanks for all the recommendations I will give them a try soon! To be fair I love Thai and Korean food as well but Vietnamese food is also great! 🙏🏻😁
Okay, I will keep that in mind, maybe in the future I could do a more comprehensive comparison between being an expat in Thailand to being an expat in Vietnam 😁🙏🏻
@@Jarod_Abroad i see alot people goes for cu chi tunnel(should sign up for a cheap tour there) and war museum(i seen a lot of tear from other vlogger) or go to ben thanh market to haggling some fake gucci it fun. I recommend these place because there a lot english speaker

it IS OK to compare countries, like Vietnam to Thailand. Very useful for us. Many people are tired of thailand. For many reasons.

Yes, there are so many foreigners here. I love it so far but I can’t wait to start heading north. Can you recommend anything around here?

@@momosinger4190 Thank you! If there is anything specific you would like me to try or somewhere you would like to see you can let me know 🙏🏻
You needed to pour some diluted fish sauce ( from the small bowl they gave you ) on the Com Tâm to enhance the flavor of that food .
Okay, Thank you! 🙏🏻
This is actually Cơm tấm or com tam, Not "Com Tum"
Whatever it is, It is amazing 😂
Broken rice, not very difficult to find.
@@farmerj1 It was only my second day, I had no idea what I was looking for haha
Vietnam still communist country, you be must very careful and don’t mess with communists.
Why is that? I’m sure if I don’t cause any issues it will be okay, the people here are very welcoming
@@Jarod_Abroad As long as you don't do anything dangerous and harmful to our country and people , you will be always welcome here .
