Never stop the food hunt videos, I've been following since before you moved back to Vietnam and these are without a doubt always my favorite content from you.
man just realized you have over 100k subs and 10,000,000 views. been watching for a long time now, awesome that you’re getting the recognition you deserve
“I need your shieldddd” is authentic vietnamese line 😂 For those who dont understand, in Vietnam people usually dont try to cut truck drivers or bus drivers since they have insurance to cover their accident but you on the other hand would die. So when you go through an intersection, try to hide from the other intersecting lane behind the big vehicles to cross easily
I found a coffee place that serves specialty coffee, I myself have tried their blueberry coldbrew and their ca phe sua da there and it turns out really good. The coffee place's at 170 Nguyen Dinh Chinh in Phu Nhuan district and in an alley way so it's kinda hard to find. I highly recommended the place if you want to try some new coffee.
That Bagel looks legit..5$ lol at Zabars that will go for 25$... I love this series, coming to Saigon in Nov. Can't wait, by the way I did a 6 month stint at Daniels...To say it was interesting would be a understatement.
If you’re looking for a non-soupy fish vermicelli noodles, try Chả Cá Lã Vọng. It’s a Hanoi dish, but there’s a restaurant in Saigon with the same name with the dish at 7 Hồ Xuân Hương St, District 3 that my family likes to go to :)
Hell yeah man your videos are fire! I'm coming to Vietnam and Saigon in December for the first time. Can you recommend any areas where to stay in terms of walkability and good food?
Can you or anyone describe the banh cuon trung? I've never seen that before, seems like a new concoction or specific to that location (I haven't been back to vietnam since COVID). Is it mixed with the banh cuon batter, layered over it, or is it simply just egg? Intriguing!
Lover ur series man, missing saigon so much T^T Chicago so boring. If u got a chance please try Mỳ Quảng Mỹ Sơn, 45 Đinh Tiên Hoàng. It's pretty damn good.
i hope u will post a video on halloween, maybe some spooky stories u've heard in VN, or ur experiences on spiritual stuffs. Just a suggestion. Love ur videos
I tried New York bagels, it was quite OK compared to the ones in the states. Yes, it’s quite pricey. However, I would say I prefer Bagel Brothers more. They have locations in D1 and D2 Also I tried lox bagel at Tartine Saigon and it was my least fave among 3 bagel shops.
Chad…. I would like to add this statement, not just a jewish guy from NYC but any guys from NYC. As a Vietnamese guy who attended college in NYC for six years I became a bagel convert. The best is in Brooklyn….. I will trade a Jewish girl for a bagel on any day ….. well … not Natalie Portman….maybe for 10 bagels, maybe…
Have you ever got 80k hamburger from bình tân, the seller said he use imported butter and pate, i never really has a chance to eat there when i still study in hcm city
I pass that Bánh Cuốn spot almost everyday but never notice they have that option. I gonna try tomorrow. In my impression that spot is not very good, but we will see it then

I’m in Saigon for the next day and was wondering where I can get a Bot Chien? It’s fried rice cakes with a fried egg and a sweet soy sauce.
Bun cha ca is actualy the specialty of both Hue and Da Nang, it mostly has fishcake and vegetables like bamboo shoot or cabbage or pumpkin
Hell yeah man your videos are fire! I'm coming to Vietnam and Saigon in December for the first time. Can you recommend any areas where to stay in terms of walkability and good food?

Great, I think you're going to know the streets of Saigon better than the Vietnamese
Have you ever got 80k hamburger from bình tân, the seller said he use imported butter and pate, i never really has a chance to eat there when i still study in hcm city

I’m trying hard
As a native speaker, would you say "How many vegetables do you eat every day?" or "How much vegetables do you eat every day?"
So much. 2 people, We eat 0.5kg stir fried vegetables and couple hundred grams of vegetables in the soup a meal 😊
just some correction: chả cá-fishcake should be called fish sausage; bánh cuốn- not rice paper roll, its steamed roll
