You mean to tell me that a beach in one of the most touristy areas in the most touristy countries on Earth is filled with tourists?
It might seem obvious but allot of people come to Phuket without know what to really suspect. It’s not to say it’s like that everywhere in Phuket though

I was going to say that Patong is a nice place to visit, but there were too many privileged Russians there.
Nothing wrong with Patong beach. Kamala or surin beach are way better, but obviously patong beach has the most sex pests because of bangla road.

I'm a Finn, living in Patong for a year now, absolutely the best decision I've ever made in my life.
Sun and bath, pretty girls, the food is to die for, the Russians are very nice, but avoid Germans and other gays.
Have you lived in any other places in Thailand before?

laos Government kind poor and messes up but laotion people must friendly and peaceful low rime compare to Thailand
Laotian people are very similar to Thai people, I think it’s because in the past they used to be one country called the Kingdom of Siam. But the culture and languages are very alike. I’m not sure which country has a higher crime rate per capita but I would believe Thailand is a bit safer, I might be wrong but I spent a fair amount of time in both countries 🙏🏻

@@Jarod_Abroad Yeah Thailand had better security system better AI whenever something happen Thai police has better chance to do research but in Thailand crime happened maybe 100 time in laos maybe couple time that's what different between Thailand and laos I'm try to help you because i know about Thailand and laos
if think about live in Thailand longer I recommend live in North or north East must better than Bangkok and South if you want
Patong was horrible. If you get stuck there, see a ping pong show, then rent a scooter and ride up and down the coast to the other beaches

@@Jarod_Abroad I don't remember the names of any of them, but that's what I did. Rent a scooter and just explore up and down the coast, and just see what you like. Mainly to get out of Patong without going too far. There were other small towns with beaches. They were never crowded and you could have lunch and a beer and chill and not get hassled.
I had the best time there in march 2024
I also stayed close to boxing stadium
How long where you there for?

Yeah alllottttt of Russians in Phuket right now, even some of the public signs are in Russian (Not Thai or English 😂).
