    browning sauce makes that magic happen. gravy, soups, stews, etc. don' take much, but it adds a LOT of flavor!

    That's perfect jambalaya. Idk what the problem is with adding the browning sauce? It adds a beautiful deep brown color and doesn't negatively effect the flavor. The only thing I add to mine is some W Sauce. It's like a thicker, much more flavorful Worcestershire sauce. If you haven't tried any yet, go straight to Rouses in Lafayette and get some. It is to die for

    I thought it was a good recipe till I saw you use par boiled rice,. Lost my interest. I cook with Mahatma Extra Long Grain rice used the same recipe for 30 years, rice comes out perfect everytime. I love all your other recipies but this one won't be on my list, thanks anyway.

      Bro it isn’t hard to follow the same recipe and just use the brand of rice you like. If you let something as little as that throw you off- you must be one miserable person

    • @cadeg2831
      @cadeg2831 Год назад

      Lmao, why would the rice matter so much that you won't make it? Just use your own rice.

    • @dlouque
      @dlouque Год назад

      @@cadeg2831 If you had a clue on how to cook Jambalaya, you would know that the recipe for par boiled rice and regular long grain rice is different, and the fact that the flavor is only on the outside of par boiled rice, and throughout the rice in regular rice. That's the F'n difference. Competition jambalaya cooks wouldn't be caught dead using par boiled rice.
