Two other tools that are super cheap with all the bi-directional controls are the xtool A30M and the thinkdiag 2. They both use your phone; the xtool has free updates for life, not so sure about the thinkdiag 2. (with their better units being the xtool D8 vs the Thinktool Pro- which are both excellent tools. I have the D8 myself, and the Thinktool Pro is probably the best one out there for the money- at around a grand). But the first two I mentioned that use your phone, are both under two hundred.
I'd like to know how they get the OEM data, as most car companies only release the standard data for MOT's etc and not the extra management codes and the data behind them.

Love your video's. Not too impressed with the scanner tho. Seems to be lacking a lot of function and other systems to be worthwhile at its price.
Hi. Having watched your review of the Launch CRP123X, i wonder if this unit uses Launch software?

At 8:00 you have an "Upgrade" button when you show the four maintenance functions. Does that not allow you to upgrade to more?
No, it's named wrong. It takes you to the software update page.
Do you know if this available in the USA?
It doesn't look like it at the moment
Yes
