- Thank you to MIITHS in the FGC Hollywood discord who gave me the idea for this project. This was a really fun story to tell, and even though I'm a Labrys player, who couldn't stand fighting against Aigis.. tough not to give Yume props. That was one bad dude.

When you ascend high enough to become a developer.
Nice that p4A is getting some spotlight
I enjoy learning about fgc history. I would like more of these.
Yesterday I was like I remember a guy who played persona 4 arena incredible so I started looking for him in persona 4 arena ultimax tournaments and I couldn't find him... Luckily I found this video, so glad the dude was hired he was a beast playing
You have now gotten a new sub from me for makeing a video about this p4a god, great work dude 👍
Thank you! :)
I was looking for a video like this. I just got through from watching his EVO run. Yume was that DUDE.
He really was a hell of a player.
Very well made video man keep it up!
Thank you!
Can't wait to see Jiyuna's reaction video to this 😄
Great job man. Archival videos like these are always awesome to watch.
is it some kind of Japanese tradition? something like that happened with the Blaz Blue CF champion, he won the EVO and went to other games. I think his name was Ryusei or something like that.
I think it’s just whenever these guys win on such a large stage they have different opportunities present to them and they decide to pursue them.
So sick : )
Finish the pod!
No!
LordKnight reacted to this video, that's why I'm here. He also mentioned how some of the stuff here were inaccurate to an extent, like how he claimed that everyone knew Yume was coming and all that, and how LordKnight was shocked for a different reason than the one you described and how he was on the verge of quitting when negative backlash from the result in the tournament. Overall good video tho. Yume reminds me of Woshige, how two pro gamers ended up working for both Capcom and Arc System Works respectively. Yume still to this day works with Arcsys on Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Yup I saw his reaction. As far the US knowing of him, I knew top players did, but it seemed that the commentary team throughout pools of the tournament did not know of his accolades. And yeah LK’s explanation of what was going through his head right after the first game against Yume in winner’s final was a cool insight.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
This was a dope video!
Thank you!
ARCSYS, HIRE THIS MAN!
....oh wait
hey it's yung road knight olala~
Man rewatching this I just love this video I really hope you can do some for forgotten American legends I.e Eddie lee(East coast God), SteveH(guilty gear), Finalshowdown(FIGHTING GAME GOD), John choi(West coast/Street fighter God), The man the myth the FUNCTION COMBO FREIND(Comeback function), and Marn(The daywalker).
Of course John may or may not be better than uncle ville
There a couple of others that I have in mind doing as well but that’s a compelling list for sure.
@@MacSplicer I would be happy to get at least one from that list cough cough John choi cough cough
