Quick little tip, It seems counter intuitive but if you spin your oil containers with the opening on the high side, they will pour a nice even stream the whole time without all of the glugging which is usually the cause of the splattering. Give it a try and I think you will like it.
That's not a tip, that is the correct way to do it. It's no different than pouring a 55gal drum. When the drum only has a little left. Lay it on a bench, and roll it until it starts to pour out the bung, don't tip a drum.

I hate to throw shade on a fellow mechanic but, being an ex-mechanic with plenty of years doing brake work I feel the need to clarify. Using an impact gun to install the wheel nuts can render an inaccurate torq wrench reading, since the nuts can be over torqued by the gun and the torq wrench will not indicate that. Getting an immediate beep from the torq wrench without visible nut spin should make that clear.

I just found your channel. I am not a fan of mechanics I've been screwed over a time or two. Your video was very legit and honest. Thank you for sharing what you do. New subscriber.
You mobile mechanics are the greatest. I had an EGR valve problem one Saturday, I called the local mechanic who happened to be a mobile mechanic close to my house and he was able to help scan the error codes that day at my home, and he ordered a new part and fitted it in a couple of days!
Great way of keeping the drive clean, my only fault which I am unsure if you did, you used your impact to fit the wheel nuts but when you use the torque wrench you hit the set of the wrench immediately in most cases, could that mean you are bang on with the impact first or did you skip a bit? The reason for asking is the nuts could be over tightened with the impact, it could be safer if you back them off first to then get the correct torque when you check for the final setup.
Thank you for watching and commenting I appreciate it! Almost all lug nuts did turn with the torque wrench. I have it set halfway and I just get them snug. I have used this impact long enough to know where to stop and not over torque the wheels. I can guarantee these are set perfectly.
Like the channel, you seem to know what you’re doing, which is refreshing lol only advice I would give you and it’s personal more than anything is by a tripod for your GoPro. The camera moving around so much it’s kind of hard to follow.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback! I actually just got a tripod in yesterday. Will start using it in future videos. I’m looking at getting another camera also to have 2 points of view pretty soon!
I have been working on my vehicles for over 50 years doing everything they need and, I just learned this a few weeks ago, and you are correct. Of course, back in the day we had round oil cans you had to shove a metal spout into, so I have only been doing it wrong since those new designed bottles came out, ha ha.
Man. That service body has to be nice to work out of. I'm not a mechanic but I do use a lot of tools and work out of a regular f250. I use milwaukeee packout boxes in back seat and its all organized but dang that service body would be epic.
I started wrenching in 1987.. I traveled the country working on Semi's for Caterpillar. I never saw a single mechanic use latex or Nitril gloves, except me. I also owned 2 hair Salons with my wife and had meetings where I did not want to have mechanic hands, so I used latex from the salons. I got a lot of runny looks. No mac,snap-on or Matco sold latex gloves. One day in the shop I gave a box to one of the PM mechanics and I told him I would supply him with all the gloves he needed in the shop if he tried them for one week... he loved them.. within 1 years, every Mechanic wore them. It was nice as people lined up to wash their hands, I just walked by, took off gloves and tossed them in the trash and hands looked like I just washed them. I worked at 3 other shops and started all those on them.. then the tool trucks started selling them and the last shop actually supplied them ! lol You gotta use nitril if using brake clean !
I have nothing but respect for hard working honest mobile mechanics like this guy. Without a hoist and shop equipment this is hard, back breaking miserable work! If a bolt snaps or some other bad thing happens they are screwed. You won’t see guys much over their mid 40’s doing mobile work. It is simply too hard especially in summer heat or winter rain and cold!

You mobile mechanics are the greatest. I had an EGR valve problem one Saturday, I called the local mechanic who happened to be a mobile mechanic close to my house and he was able to help scan the error codes that day at my home, and he ordered a new part and fitted it in a couple of days!
Thank you for watching and commenting! We try our best!
I was just going to say the same thing. Hard to watch with the camera moving around all over the place.
@@jt9498 I appreciate the feedback! Thank you for watching! I’ll be using the tripod soon and as often as possible.
I was going to post the same when I saw yours.
@@968porsche9 thank you for your feedback! Much appreciated
Get yourself one of the ratcheting caliper compressors you won’t regret it I used to use that same exact tool you’re using.
Nice Job,, you should pour the oil with the spout up which will go quicker.
Thank you! I’ll make sure to remember that on the next one!
I have been working on my vehicles for over 50 years doing everything they need and, I just learned this a few weeks ago, and you are correct. Of course, back in the day we had round oil cans you had to shove a metal spout into, so I have only been doing it wrong since those new designed bottles came out, ha ha.
@@OverlandOne as long as the oil level is full when we are done pouring we did something right 🤣
Also stops it running back down the bottle and eiminates the risk of glugging and missing the 710 filler hole.
Yes I do remember those round oil cans and metal spouts. We use to oil our skates and box scooters with them
Thank you for sharing. Been a diy'r all my life. You did everything as I would have done. Good job. Much respect. Cheers!
Man. That service body has to be nice to work out of. I'm not a mechanic but I do use a lot of tools and work out of a regular f250. I use milwaukeee packout boxes in back seat and its all organized but dang that service body would be epic.
It is absolutely amazing working out of a service bed! I don’t think I would want to do my job without it.
I worked at 3 other shops and started all those on them.. then the tool trucks started selling them and the last shop actually supplied them ! lol
You gotta use nitril if using brake clean !
Thank you for sharing that!
Does anyone flush out the brake fluid anymore or is it seldom necessary?
I recommend it at the manufacturer intervals or if it’s dirty but most of the time the customers decline.
I do a partial flush by sucking it out of the reservoir at interval. You get 90% of the benefit with 10% of the work
@@drewschumann1 maybe I should do that as a courtesy when I do brakes? What do you think?
@@QualityMobileAutomotive It really doesn't take much. No bleeding brakes necessary. I say go for it
@@drewschumann1 I think we are going to start doing that. Thank you for your input! I appreciate it!
Just a dude changing brakes until 17:00.
Definitely
Nice to see a mechanic who works carefully but makes efficient use of the time he is being paid for, I wish you were in Vancouver BC , finding a decent mechanic here is like hitting the lottery
Thank you so much for watching and commenting I really appreciate it!
You don't play! Superfast!
Thank you! Efficient with time to stay on a schedule.
Awesome work! Awesome talented mechanic!!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting I really appreciate it!
You might wanna invest in some knee pads for real
I recently purchased some. I’m not a fan of them. Im looking for something a little less bulky.
@@QualityMobileAutomotive Arc'teryx knee caps. Kind of pricey, but they were made for the tactical crowd, very low profile, maybe on the market. Slim, goes on easy, comes off easy when you try to take them off, and does everything a knee pad needs to do.
This is one of the most difficult professions to trust. I do my own mechanics on my vehicles because I had to learn to stop getting ripped off. I save a lot of money and I know what's needed and what was done. Good for you man, Keep it clean, I hope you continue to prosper in you're business!! Bless!!
Thank you! I do appreciate it very much!
Love your videos, nice to see you take care of the driveway and not spill oil on the concrete
Thank you for watching and commenting I really appreciate it!
Nice clean work, great too you can get parts delivered
Wish we had this choice here , very efficient & conscious. Two thumbs up .
I love how that guy saw your truck and wanted to hire you for your next job. SO COOL to get more business like that.
I love seeing people like me tell some random person looking to buy this. Makes everyones day more fun. It is very satisfying watching someone that knows what they are doing work.
Thank you!
Finally a real mobile mechanic, wished we had you near Cinci.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting I truly appreciate it!
17:32 that’s not what I thought would happen. Slick work

Way-to-go! Customer service & quality of job. Top guy. I've done numerous brake servicing on my cars over the years etc and I still like to see how it is done professionally, you can always learn.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting I really appreciate it!
I was impressed that you torque the lug nuts. I had tires replaced at a local garage and one of the wheels fell off 100 feet from the gagage destroying the front fender. The guy denied responsibility and refused to repair the vehicle. I had to sue him for damages unfortunately. Had he admitted it we could have worked it out.
Keep up the good work man! I sure do wish we had someone as good as you here in Texas...
Thank you so much for watching and commenting I really appreciate it!
Great show and I'm learning a few things too!
Thank you I appreciate that!
The great thing I see with mobile mechanics they often go out of their way to please customers. Doing way more than your typical automotive shop.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting I really appreciate it!
You seem to be knowledgeable and a good, professional mechanic. Salford uk
