    Been waiting for this video. I have the same kayak, taking it out for the first time this weekend. It’s not easy finding review videos on it so this one is greatly appreciated.

      I really like mine. Adjust the seat straps. I've been on water for 9 hrs before still very comfortable

      Lol my son will also be turning 14 and I will be getting him this yak. I already have one and absolutely love it. Light weight, stable, great for fshing and kayak camping.

    Had this kayak for about 2 yrs. I live in florida and fish the intercoastal, there is always waves and current. I have flipped it oncce, standing up not paying attention and took a wave broadside. Longer stiffer paddle a must. You also donot have suppers, they are a big need for me. I dont carry a crate because i have a water proof hatch in the back where i store my fish inside the kayak, not bass fishing so my fish are between 2 to 3 foot long. But hey to each his own.

    I’m undecided between this one and the Lifetime Yukon!

    • @bassmanbobbin
      @bassmanbobbin  Год назад +2

      Depends on the size you want. Yukon is a little bigger. Either one is a good choice 👍

    • @lowlifeangler
      @lowlifeangler Год назад +2

      The Yukon is heavier and you will need a trailer or a truck. I can my Tamarack pro on J bars on the Outback

    I just picked one of these up at Walmart on sale. Amazing boat for the price! I can't find where to order those seat risers, lemme me know if you do. I highly recommend a paddle upgrade, the included one is crap. I'm using a Bending Branches Angler Ace- totally worth it. Thanks!

      I put a 4" rail the hatch, glue a quick disconnect on the rail. The round base and Garmin Striker plus 4 fish finder on it. That yahattack battery fit perfectly in the compartment.

    That's a cool little Kayak BUT you need to wear your PFD. They are not for bad swimmers they are for good swimmers that are knocked out or simply unconscious for what ever reasons. I have had my Kayak for 7yrs and I have talked to many people that are also very experienced on the water that were flipped from submerged logs or other bazar things hit on the head and lights out. .Just don't want to see you or anybody hurt or die when the thing that could have saved you is tied down behind your head . Good Video and have fun!!!!!

    What fish finder and battery are you running ? I’ll be looking out for that trolling motor setup video too

    • @lowlifeangler
      @lowlifeangler Год назад +1

      Yahattack 10h battery, the battery and wires fit in the center compartment the Tamarack pro. I use a Garmin Striker 4 Plus. It's OK for beginners, $139 , I like it. I mounted a 4" rail and screw and glued it. I put a round Yakattack base on the hatch. But you can put it on the side rails.
      A trolling motor is not a good idea for this yah

    Can you tell me how to install the flight finder in your kayak or do you have a video of that?
