It does take guts. I'm building my first body from scratch now, with a bought neck. Next build I hope to have the courage to go all the way, with everything scratch built! Just working my way into it. Getting the truss rod right seems the hardest to me. I built a few cigar box necks so I got the carving part down. I'll see how it goes on the next build. If it turns out as nice as his, I'll be thrilled!👍😎🎸🎶

Yep :) Painting is pain!! I gave the guitar as a gift to a friends daughter, she is happy with it for now :) but maybe one day I'll repaint it, I need some more practice with this painting stuff

I think to fit the fanciness you could've done the same thing but with wood stains, like a natural finish or no finish, then add the stripes. What type and brand of tool is your band saw? i'm not even sure what that type of saw that is, but i like it a lot. i need something like that badly. if you can tell me, that would be great. thank you. maybe a scroll saw?
i would have loved to see some more elements of the job. even though i have an idea of how they go, i'd have loved to see the placing of the inlay (always an exciting thing in my book) and the applying the radius to the fingerboard. cool video, i was bummed at the end to see the paint job too.
Congratulations, very nice build. However, I did not understand the cuts @ 4:44 ... are those the fret installments? and why you did not measure them? you cut by "eye measurement"?
Very impressive skill set you have. I love how you did it all with some basic shop tools; the way many world class stringed instruments were made in the past. My question to you is... are you happy with it?
If you dont mind answering, I was wondering about the dimensions of all the different pieces put together and what tools are needed, and what wood you used? Thanks so much!

I plan on maybe making a small side-business kind of thing where i could make and modify/customize guitars. Keep up your amazing work!
This man is so talented
What type and brand of tool is your band saw? i'm not even sure what that type of saw that is, but i like it a lot. i need something like that badly. if you can tell me, that would be great. thank you. maybe a scroll saw?
oh.. i did a little research.. is that a scroll saw?
i would have loved to see some more elements of the job. even though i have an idea of how they go, i'd have loved to see the placing of the inlay (always an exciting thing in my book) and the applying the radius to the fingerboard. cool video, i was bummed at the end to see the paint job too.
You are a magnificent man, well done.
Thank you. I believe we all born to learn how to to see the beauty around us and improve our souls :)
Congratulations, very nice build. However, I did not understand the cuts @ 4:44 ... are those the fret installments? and why you did not measure them? you cut by "eye measurement"?
love the paint job mate.... very unique!
love the paintjob...
How beautiful what is handmade guitar!!
This is something i always wanted to do. Good job
Repainting now!
Very impressive skill set you have. I love how you did it all with some basic shop tools; the way many world class stringed instruments were made in the past. My question to you is... are you happy with it?
Nice paint job!
I love the paint job
If you dont mind answering, I was wondering about the dimensions of all the different pieces put together and what tools are needed, and what wood you used? Thanks so much!
