The only thing I would say they could have done better here is when customising the controls I think they should have built a screen above the unit so you have quick ease of access to change your custom controls fast if needed! Wouldn’t have time to hang mouses over things on the laptop to get the same effect but say change the depth of that effect over quickly whilst in a mix , I know you could mayby sample the one you want and use that so you wouldn’t have to change quickly but still it would be nice to get to the custom controls in some sort of easier fashion.
DJs are fast becoming the new stars of the music scene. There seems to be a lack of quality decks/mixers that are on par with pioneer's though, for the modern DJ/Prod.
Also, you use overdub to record a 4 beat loop with the samples. Can you record a loop from your actual song playing and play it over the original song simultaneously like an efx1000 or is the only way to do that by just creating a loop on the cdj and using the loop rolls on the rmx (without recording a loop)?
I was going to sell mine, but i dont think i will now, my only gripe is I wish the op amps were of audiophile quality, the sound quality is ok on these but could be better
Hi. I was wondering if i can hook this up with my Xone DB2? I understand it should be connected via "send and return" ins and out of the mixer which is not available from the Xone DB2. Is there another work-around in the connections for DB2? If there is, will it affect sound quality? Thanks!
Hello i got a question; When i record with my XDJ-RX and this remix station the audio does not get captured from the rmx-500 when i listen to the recording file, which was recorded with the master record button on the XDJ-RX. (I have wired the XDJ-RX into the RMX-500 and then into my sound system and the RMX-500 is super great i love it but sadly i dont know how to get the sound recorded )
Does anyone know if the routing of the X-Pad to the channel fader on the mixer is something you can only do on the DJM2000? I've got a DJM900 Nexus and I can't think of a way to do it. It isn't explained in the video.
+spachtelmasse to be honest ive been thinking about it and its almost 50% the price of a DJM 900 NXS (40% of NX2). true id have to invest in CDJs amd pay more money but i think ill benefit more upgrading to a professional 4 channel DJM rather than invest so much money on a unit thats an add on to an XDJ RX and that can be covered mostly by NX2. anyone has any opinions on this?

Hey CrowdControl, Yes it is possible. The way it's done is by tapping in the tempo in half time. This will give you an 8bar. Problem is, that's where it ends. I mean there may be another way, I just haven't figured it out yet. :). Hope this helps....
The sound is incredibly bad. Why did you capture the audio signal with a microphone and not on the mixer itself so that you can hear the effects better?

To get a loop going you just use the Roll button and put on overdub.
Pretty awesome. Can you run any audio through it? Like a synth?
