    Thanks for this review as I just got mine back after 8 months in the repair shop its great to see a new review of an older product. Because of the age expense and being marketed as a dj efx a lot of people are unaware of its production potential. I would buy another one but I keep hoping Pioneer will release one with analog filters. For production it's fine as I run it through analog efxs,but if it had analog filters I could use it on the front end of my Xone 96 . Thanks again for the excellent overview.

      @@ElectronisoundsAudio Very well explained. To be complete you just missed showing: a) the several ways of connecting it, b) updating firmware, c) loading your own samples in the groove box, d) choosing your own configuration for all the effect buttons with a software called Remixbox, and e) using the vst version from your daw for production. This is what I am struggling with now. And there are no videos with deep explanations of these features. This machine is much more than a simple effect box for Djing with Pioneer... I have also seen people connecting it to Electron digitack. and is good for live Dawless performance. I wonder to how many other instruments you can attach it.. Maybe To my Roland TR8s.. That would be a killer.. All the potential f the TR8 S, with those effects.. I might try it..

      This is not a *every kind of possible detail* video, like I say in the video.
      It's not a video on the vst version or how to use the vst version - that would be a whole video in itself... lol
      This video is already 30 min long!
      You can connect this box to *ANY* piece of gear or groovebox or dawless system - and that's the point - *no special connections or routing* - just plug and play.

    What overview of the rmx. Suscribed. Yet, what bums me out is this thing is legit a 1000 bucks and it is legit a controller for your controller or a controller for your decks, and your controllers and decks can do legit everything this does except the stem and drum and clap parts need to be added into your memory cue banks from the start and the add and cut function and the overdub function is a neat thing but I don't see anyone really using those for general music.

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hey Hey! Thanks for watching! 😁🙏👊
      Yeah, imho - if you already have those kind of fancy DJ decks, this is not really needed.
      This is more for people who have very simple decks, or VINYL only setups without all that fancy stuff.
      (Or hardware performers like me, who don't DJ at all.)
      I think it would be overkill if you already have some pretty fancy decks in your setup.

    Good vid but tbh, $800 bucks, I think I'd rather buy some lights or a couple speakers. Its just not worth the money for what it does, I mean most controllers now-a-days you can do all that, maybe not the same effects but I know for myself as a dj, I dont really use effects too much because the audience will notice if you keep doing the same or similar things. All and all its cool but I just cant see the price tag.

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  3 года назад

      Well, for one it's not a controller - it works *standalone* on hardware. That explains the price.
      It's ok if it's not worth it for you personally, it's certainly not for everyone. 😀 👊

      @@ElectronisoundsAudio I didnt say it was a controller, you misread my comment, sounds like you are a little butt hurt. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, simply stated the price tag is outragious for what it is. Pretty much just paying for the name in my opinion. So what it bends sounds and has all the effects my SZ-2 controller has it would be pointless to buy if you have any high end controller to further elaborate my first comment🙄

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  3 года назад

      It costs more than a plastic controller, because it's not a DJ controller.
      It's not a plastic midi controller.
      *It's a piece of standalone hardware GEAR*, not a midi controller.
      It does not need a computer to work.
      I'm not butt hurt. 🤣🤣 I don't care if you want one personally or not. 🤔
      It's not like I work for Pioneer?
      This is a video to help people understand what this box does and how to use it.
      I'm just explaining the cost of the unit vs. a controller price, which you keep comparing it to.

    Really nice video, as a LIVE musician and not a dj its nice to get a different type of opinions by someone thats not a dj. I have a question tho, I see there are two types of inputs, could you use these inputs simultaneously? For connecting a looper and a beatmaker separately and use the mrx1000 also as a mixer. That way I could save a lot of space in my setup allowing me to replace my mixer by the rmx1000 and getting some really nice effects on top.

      Loke I explain in the video - it doesn't require ANY special connections - just master out from your setup (whatever that may be) into this. it's really that simple.

    Thanks man, I've actually bought a RMX after watching your video. But i have connecting issue.
    I plugged the RMX audio out into a mackie channel input and the RMX input into the aux send. The sound come from the Analog rytm and dreadbox typhon.
    Result is that when i turn the aux knob, i get the same signal playing twice and phasey sound. Any suggestion please?

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  2 года назад

      Sure, you *HAVE* to plug this into the master out of your chain. This needs to be the LAST THING in your audio signal. It's that simple. No other routing. 😁👊

    Definitely cool! Got me curious!😜👊🏼.....would you say this RMX compares to a Korg Kaos pad type of gear?....in overall functions? Seems like they might work well together too!

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  4 года назад +1

      Hey Hey! They are definitely the same type of concept - run audio into it, and then effect and tweak your audio. 👍
      That's about as far as the similarities go though - they both do different things to the sound.
      I actually have a KAOSS Pad 3, but haven't gelled with it... Need to find the time to try again! 😀 👊

    Hello, do you buy xone db4 or 900nxs2 with rmx 1000?
    What do you choose you?

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  3 года назад +1

      Sorry, i've not used those other mixers - just the db2.
      You just need to make sure it has the features you're after - i.e. how many individual FX units, looping tracks(?), external aux sends if you need them, etc.
      GOOD LUCK! 😀 👊

    Is the RMX-1000 compatible with the pioneer xdj-xz?

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  3 года назад +1

      Sorry, but I don't know that unit. As explained in this video though, all you do is run the audio out from your mixer into this, and then audio out from this into wherever you are running your audio. There are no special connections, just standard audio cables from your master audio out. It auto-detects the BPM from the audio input. 👊

    • @ludooo2368
      @ludooo2368 3 года назад

      @@ElectronisoundsAudio Thank you! Do I understand that right, you could use basically any unit with the right connections and there are no issues with quantize and bpm detection/tapping?
      Also I just found out about the RMX-1000 but your video already has given me a great impression, of what this beast can add to a mix!

    Do the effects have to play through the master or is there a way for it to play though one channel only?

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  3 года назад

      Think of it this way:
      The FX will be on whatever ***AUDIO*** you send into this box.
      If you don't want the entire track, then you'll need a mixer that has some kind of AUX SENDS for you to route whatever audio you do want, into this box. 😀 👊

    • @ElectronisoundsAudio
      @ElectronisoundsAudio  2 года назад +1

      Hey. Luis! This is always going to be the very last thing in your audio chain, so if your synths are running into a mixer,
      then you would run the master out of that mixer into this. 😁👊
