I'm curious what kind of wkg he can sustain. As a heavier rider myself I know the challenges of riding up a hill when your power is decent, but the weight is messing you up :)

My buddy that I ride with the most is 6'5 and 265lbs. It is quite a draft, but I can't see anything.
We also have a big powerful rider (by far not as muscular as Jamie) on our team and I swear there's no draft behind him but suction.

I’d like to see Jamie on again as he starts his cycling journey. Perhaps his first Gran Fondo ride or something. He’s got such a humble attitude it’s impossible not to root for him

He’s massive but compared to a pro track sprinter he is squatting about the same or less and almost certainly putting out less sprint power.

You would think that Jamie isnt that aero because of his size, but in reality, the air particles just move out of the way because theyre intimidated by his imposing frame.

As an MTBer I’ve alway been a little anti road biker but I’ve gotta say GCN has done an amazing job of bridging the gap between the genres and focusing on the thing we all have in common…and that’s just biking. I really enjoy your content guys and I hope you keep it up.
I used to be anti road biking “that tiny little tyre feels awful” etc till I decided to try gravel biking.. was a bit of a gateway drug to road riding tbh! 😂 like actually enjoying a climb now… crazy!

That was fun to watch! Not familiar to track racing formats so genuinely wasn’t sure how the results would turn out. Love seeing athletes from other sports take up cycling. Jamie seemed like a cool guy. And Hank being there was a bonus

Ok, so we already know that Hank is not as tall as the other presenters but he's noticably the buffest one. When he stood next to the guest my jaw dropped. I was a muscle head back in my days but never did I get to that level. It was too hard and it was typically just good years of maintenance. Not recently, but good GAAAWD!!! 6'5"?! BTW, this was a good episode.

This was so fun to watch (despite the zero applicability to the vast majority of us)! Jamie seems such a nice guy and kudos to him for picking up a sport and taking it seriously, he did quite well in there for cycling beginner! Would love to see power output from his bike (if anyone makes a power meter that can go that high...)

That was an awesome video. More Jamie in the future please as he tackles more challenges on the bike. In the sprint race Jamie hit the gas (REALLY need a power meter on him) and Si.. well Si finished 3rd I think in that 2 man race 🤣🤣
