While I appreciate his work as an actor, I'm not a huge fan of his political beliefs and ideals. Sure, veganism can help lower the effects of climate control, but it also has its own detrimental effects on the environment. The almond industry is literally killing large numbers of bee colonies yearly in California, at greater rates than ever before. The pesticides used in farming are devastating to the land and fauna around it. Not to mention, we dont know the long term affects of a lot of the new chemicals they are using each time one is banned, and we could end up with unforseen medical issues in the future.
@@CaptanF0rever I am not sure how you come to the conclusion that veganism supports chemicals and pesticides? I'd also like to mention that just because almond milk is a thing, it's certainly not all that almonds are used for, and there are other alternatives like oat/rice. In reality, trying to compare eating meat and plant based diets, on terms of being equally/somewhat less damaging, is fox news style bullshit. Cogna not really “normal person” he made it really awkward situation for the guy who was just asking a question. I love Joaquin, but that was really weird
Eric Retz While I agree with you that he made it into an awkward situation, he does have a right to express that he’s tired of answering the same questions. I don’t think that makes him a weird person, just one with a large ego.
I loved previous Batman movies like Nolan's, but this one is special. Iron Man 1, Joker or Logan alone trashed entire Dark Knight Trilogy IMHO (in terms of character driven)
@@desipop3654 Iron man 1 great mcu film. Logan is a great ending for a perfectly cast character. Joker is amazing cinema overall not actually being driven about the DC characters but more about this character which is really a larger comment on society. I think they're all great films but not easily comparable. TDK series is just truly amazing for all of its great characters. Heath ledger, fucking amazing . Michael Caine, an icon. Morgan freeman/ Gary Oldman/ Aaron Echkart, irreplaceable. They were much harder films to get right due to the sheer vastness and variables of it. And it was pulled off almost perfectly. Also the musical motifs adds a layer of depth to the tdk characters more than the before said films. They are all great films but they are FAR from trashing it, anyway thats still just my opinion tho lol.

Imagine being lucky enough to ask JOAQUIN PHOENIX a question about his acting career or anything on JOKER, and you waste it asking the same question he’s answered multiple times wtf
Imagine not caring about the "actor" and realizing that they literally get paid to play make believe. Essentially the equivalent of a child at playtime, just in a adult environment. Then you can see that they are not special, and don't deserve the praise you all give. But most are too simple mined to understand that, and will take offense and be pissed. Enjoy your lives simple minded people, you all mean nothing!. The fact that you all praise them so much is laughable, stupid fucking people.
Pipe&Ale Are you dumb? Nobody thinks characters that actors play are real, we all know they are fake. That’s what an actor is. A source of entertainment for people. Even though I don’t praise actors it is quite impressive that someone can put on a mask and play a make believe character so good to make you think you are in the same setting as them in a 3rd perhaps maybe 2nd person view. I don’t get how it bothers you so fucking much that you feel the need to leave such an ignorant ‘know it all’ comment as if you are any better than anyone else. If people getting recognized for their hard work for physically changing their bodies and mental mind state is so laughable then fucking laugh about it. Leaving a comment like the comment you just left makes you seem mad, bitter and jealous.
Pipe&Ale I mean that can be said about literally any profession in any industry, dumbest arguments I’ve ever read. Actors go through fucking hell sometimes to deliver their performances, some to the point of near death. Leo DiCaprio has a great story about his preparation and what it took to deliver The Revenant. Anybody who puts themselves through these kinds of experiences for the sake of art and entertainment, being so gifted that they can literally make people feel emotion for characters that don’t even exist, deserves praise, they have absurd willpower and talent. Joaquin basically played 3 different personalities all within the same film. I dare you to attempt the same my friend. If anyone’s the sheep it’s you, aspiring so difficultly to be SO different that you can’t appreciate the work and effort others put into their job performances. A sad human indeed.

Kind of annoys me when I see people calling him strange, or scary, or always in a bad mood. Just because he's an actor doesn't make him perfect. He's a human being just like everybody else. I'll just play angel's advocate here... Calling someone strange, scary, or always in a bad mood doesn't equate to calling them less of a person. It's calling them a strange scary person who is always in a bad mood person. I know plenty of regular joes who aren't strange, scary or in a bad mood like Joaquin is purported to be. I think being asked the same question by many different interviewers for 6 months would make anyone annoyed at the question. He warmed up to the food question, so I think it was just that. Plus I think he has social anxiety so he was on edge for that, then the first question is a repeat question that’s been answered many times.
Mike2014 I don’t know what you’re basing that off of. He was a bit curt in his first reply but as many, myself included and the man himself, he’s been asked the same question many times over 6 months, so he’s probably tired of it. Plus he still answers the same question. If anything, that’s annoyed. The next question he answered kindly too as well, so I don’t see your point at all. .... This is how zero fucks given looks like lol MY RESPECT TO JOAQUIN!!!
He’s drunk most importantly. Throughout the whole thing he was slurring his speech and tried to walk off right away He just wants out lol 1:58 can they not take the hint?
After acting as a joker, he stayed a joker.
(respectful golf clap)
he was alredy crazy dude
Danny Mark...I totally agree with you.
A real Joker!Thank God Joaquin forgot the gun!Haha!What a man!What an actor!
Nope, he's still Johnny Cash.
This is constantly what I'm like in fake interviews in my head.
i don’t blame him for being annoyed at the same questions, that must drive you crazy
koala brother, don’t like it, don’t get famous. Same if you don’t like cleaning crap, don’t be a janitor, lol.
He genuinely cared about the reporters, and he was trying to be natural and funny but bc everyone’s in their work environment and mindset, they don’t respond in that same natural fashion. They applauded him at the beginning when he just wanted to see how they were doing. He paused on the questions and asked more about their day and being there for so long. He had to start with a question he’s tired of answering. His 2nd question was strange and nonsensical so he questioned it back. And yet, thru it all he payed a lot of respect and acknowledgement to them. He has my respect
This is the equivalent of a shy person coming to class, finding out they have to give a speech they didn’t prepare for and is going first. All in all, he did an excellent job.
I love how he angrily chews his gum when he's irritated
Homies just chewing gum loudly in the mic while he’s asking a question lmao
AlohaAllDayLong I think he’s nervous haha
It's the coke
@@nicolebentley984 I don't think he does coke. He's better than that.
@@louisemagill8295 like you know him haha. His brother died of an overdose and have you seen mr Phoenix mockumentary where he smokes a bunch of weed?? I'm sure that's not all he did
@@nicolebentley984One would think that having a brother who died of a speedball overdose would stay away from drugs.
Weed is a different ball game. No one ever died of a marajuana overdose.
I hope he doesn't do coke, it's so boring and predictable.
He said "have you been waiting in here all night.. Are you ok? I love that
Right?! That part was cute.
so kind :) i love him
June Asiimwe sad that this kind of stuff brings you joy lol
@@solidus_spence yeah how dare basic human kindness make someone happy
I was waiting for him to say “ do you want to hear a joke?”
I can see in all the comments everybody trying to figure him out like: “He is weird” “He is anxious” “he’s confident” but you just can’t. He is unfathomable and that’s what makes him so fascinating and so special.
He wasn’t trying to be rude, he was just really blunt because he was drunk lmao
I’m not saying he’s not humble, I’m saying he was drinking. Enlighten me if you 100% know he wasn’t.
Taryn Romine he is always in your face kind of guy. No hypocrisy!
mona2242 I’m not making fun of him.
Reg. Pson 😂
@jjosephdubya
dumb.
It isn't said anywhere that he was drunk.
So unless it's proven that he was drunk. He wasn't drunk.
So you need to show proof that he was drunk instead of trying to be a smartass. Dumbass.
This hair cut goes so well on him, before he had a slicked back cut the was aging him. Now he returned to the same style from 2005 golden globe
@dropkick too deep..
we need more honest actors like him, just straight forward no sugar coating
Creepers Beware he’s high af, son.
@@slavatoin8273 or doesn't give a shit about the society at all.
@H M the key word here is he still doesn't give a shit.
This is part of his job, BUT, he is tired of the stupid verbosity as we are as well I would guess.
"you don't listen do you?"
You just ask the same question every week 😂
@@mariutorres How's your job, are you having any negative thoughts. All I have are negative thoughts.
Proceeds to take out his gun.
@@enkelix "Wanna hear a joke?"
Joaquín: Hi, how are you all doing?
Me: *Homer Simpson scream*
JG Ramos D’oh!
Deet!
I don’t think joker should have a second film.....as much as I would love that, the joker just needs to stand as one of the greatest movies ever, a sequel will just water that down
There’s a sequel coming out after the events of Joker but it’s not the same canon if that makes sense. Like a spin-off sequel with another actor.
Agree totally.. it's an unbelievable special movie.. it should standalone
i wouldn't say it's one of the greatest movies ever imo. it was great. but not of all time imo. the reason it's praised so much is mainly his performance which elevates the film to greatness.
Perhaps, depends on how it was done ie if not approached as the majority of sequels are, with the goal to create a sequel as great as the first then I'd want to see it. Similar to the Godfather series quality wise.
Stfu you wannabe edge lords. The movie was decent at best. I enjoyed it myself, but stop with the over reacting at how "brilliant" it was. It was a decently good movie. That's all. Nothing makes you cooler or more edgy by using hyperbole to describe how great it was just because some critics didn't like it. Grow up
I love how he was concerned about the people in the room being bored or hungry or thirsty...he's so kind!
He wasn't lmao he was just saying that to trash on the event lmao. Saying it's boring and if they have something to do or eat cuz he sure as he'll doesn't want to be there answering questions lol
I think that he is trying not to be remembered as the joker role only and be stuck with it for all his career course. Like Birdman's story
What about birdman?
Like aaron paul
i don’t think he has to worry about that, he’s known for a lot. only our generation (gen z) associates him with joker
you obviously don't know what being genuine is
Too late. When you take a role like the joker it will follow you forever until something eclipses it.
Thank you for asking "again"
Straight savage
He scares me, like at any moment he’s gonna blow up
Ight right?
Ight he’s a vegan, what do you expect? He has a severe b12 deficiency
Yan yes, actually. For mental health, yes
Yan your body regulates your acidity, it makes sodium bicarbonate when it gets too acid, what you eat does not determine acidity
Yan a rich guy like him should know even with the supplements it doesn’t absorb the same into your brain matter and causes severe atrophy and cognitive decline.
Joaquin's speeches:
Movies: ah..hmm..okaay..I don't remember
Veganism: The food was excellent and the statistics..
