  • Hi guys,
Sorry for the long wait! The season is getting started, so I've been a bit busy.
Here is my latest video, asking the question: Which golf ball should I buy?
I compare Titleist's most expensive ball to their cheapest to see if there is anything to be gained or whether its all marketing.
    Enjoy!

I'm gonna be a new subscriber just because you're being 100% honest about your results on the test. These Titleist Trufeel balls remind me of the LAB putters --- you get fantastic results, but so many guys steer away from them because they either don't like the looks or because they're not being played by the pros on TV :)

Love this! Thank you! That’s exactly what I wanted to deliver. No bias. Just real facts gathered from hitting balls. (Not by a robot) 👍🏻
      Thank you!

Couple weeks ago I bought a dozen titleist surlyn x-outs at walmart for $14.99. All were tru-feels except for one velocity. I was pleased with the performance and the suberb soft feeling. Former community college mvp player and club champ, returning to the game after a 10 yr lay off. Now that i am 67 and retired, I will be gaming the tru-feel as it fits my 88- 93 mph swing speed.

Hi I’ve tried both and I really really prefer the trufeel for three reasons. 1) I love the feel and sound 2) I go farther and straighter 3) I may be wrong but I feel that the pro v1 doesn’t forgive bad shots as much as the trufeel . Therefore for me it’s the trufeel without any doubts, besides the price is much better too.
Then I compared the titleist trufeel with two other same type of low compression balls and same price. Callaway supersoft and Srixon Q-star tour. My final choice is definitely Titleist.

      Don't call 3ft a big difference but I do call £2 a ball a big difference

@@richardlupton3676 Just my humble opinion, but i believe the difference is even bigger than that, at least concerning price. The urethane covers on those Pro V's just get damaged so easily, and when they do, you'll see immediate performance drops (in distance). Those Trufeel balls can get scuffed, bounce of off cart paths or trees or whatever, and they'll still perform the same. Might not be the greatest rolling on the green if they get too torn up, but they're like little tanks out there. A good golfer will go through way more Pro V's in a season than he will the Trufeels.

Thanks for posting this! Seems like a great option, especially for less than half the price.

It helps me out when you do these videos because I don’t have easy access to a launch monitor

Great review! I have always liked the Trufeel but good to get validation from a pro.

I found that for my game the softer balls help me and I'm not good enough to spend $ on premium balls

Pair those TruFeel balls with my Mizuno blades for the ultimate buttery soft feedback.

I’d pair them with the pro v1 if performance of spin with wedges is your wish? Or save some money and play trufeel if not.
Either work for you depending on what you want 👍🏻
      Thanks for the comment! 🏌🏻‍♂️

I play the TruFeel. I've played some ProV1's I've found on the course and I just hate the feel of them, especially with full iron shots.

Tim, in the Club Data section there appeared to be a far tighter dispersion for one ball than the other, but I couldn’t tell which. Could you say, please, because I think accuracy may be the most important factor of all. Thank you.

basically if you hit alot of approaches with a 56 degree wedge the pro V anything is your ball. if not save the cash and play better golf with the true feel or velocity

If that was ur gamer driver, what ball do you play and ur normal spin rate. That was so high with the pro v.

Trufeel. Definitely is marketing. Definitely balls cost to much.
