      When I take a break from OW, I typically uninstall and silence notifications from related creators. This most recent time, I kept yours on, and I feel that was a good call.
      The way you fit all relevant news into a video without any wasted time is, frankly, unmatched. Not to be rude, but Stylosa and Flats specifically wear my patience with their style of videos, especially if I just want that quick rundown to see if I should reinstall.
      Keep doing what you do, because no one does it better.

      I think it is a small nerf but basically a nothing change with the rein knockback nerf. You could kind of juggle people back away from certain areas so if you were fighting another tank or something up close and they were close to a wall, like just inside the first choke on king's row, you could kinda get them out of los from their team by moving them to the side. It was useful and a little trick to win some fights in specific locations so I don't think the nerf does anything.

    Since Sojourn was dominating the entire game in the past few seasons, the overwatch devs KNEW that the best cause of action was to nerf torb turret.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure wrecking ball is the only character now in the games history to passively have both shield and armour

      I noticed that straight away and was so happy to finally see it!!! Especially since now if he takes poke damage, it will damage the shield but not his armour or health.

      @DamoGamo Same! Ever since i started playing in 2017, I was waiting to see this. Ball definitely deserves this op combination aha. Thought it would've been a good way to buff bastion too before his buffs but this works too

    Zen getting 5 more shots is actually huge. There are so many times I was 1 more shot to kill an enemy but had to reload

    Make your choice vs MercyPockets:
    Focus the Pocketed: They gets more healing when low so it's harder to kill them
    Focus Mercy: You have to shoot a constantly healed Mercy while her pockets bombard you
    Lose-Lose scenario

      focusing the mercy would be easier than before??? she doesnt get her regen after like 1,5 sec. having her regen on for 2 secs on live rn = the amount of hp she would get from healing someone for 4 secs, but thats unrealistic since they would have to be almost dead for it to work.

      @Cryoptic_ I don't think you've considered the possibility that she could be pocketing a tank or someone with higher health pool. Also, her she automatically gets healed as long as she's healing someone regardless or not they're under the 50% hp mark or not so it doesn't take much for her to just switch to someone who took damage and start healing them to get her self heal. Assuming this heal stacks with her passive heal that triggers after 1.5s, this just makes it harder for DPS to pick her off since they would have to be much more consistent with their shots. Also her GA nerf is really only a nerf for "good" Mercy players who know how to cancel their GA early so the cooldown starts as they're ascending rather than when they reach the peak of the GA jump.

      ​@@rileywhite4281 oh god do i rly need to tell u? exactly how is she gonna stack her heals on herself? u do know that they REMOVED HER REGEN PASSIVE??? its being REPLACED with her new heal while healing ally. is shes pocketing a tank, ur unlikely to be fighting the mercy. also even if shes healing someone above 50%, its only about 11 HPS. i will take that over starting regen after 1,5.
      the GA nerf hits at all ranks, not just good mercy players.

      @Cryoptic_ Alright sure, I was about to edit my last response so I realized I was wrong I'll give you that. However that honestly is better for her overall because yes it's not high heals, it's consistent. For example, on the opposite side of the chart, Moira doesn't have high damage rather it's the consistency of her easy beam that makes her annoying if she decides to flank you.

      @@Cryoptic_ ​ She still has the support passive regen, she just loses her boosted one. Her new passive does NOT heal 11 /hps, as when you heal your team you get 25% of the health you heal, the support regen heals 11 /hps. Also yes, the GA is going to effect higher level Mercy players, most lower ranks don’t use GA enough or at all. They also have trouble using the GA tricks so they don’t use it often. I’ve seen gameplay from the lower ranks of a Mercy who didn’t GA once.

    As a Rein main the knockback impulse is honestly an extremely good QOL change because you can swing and not have the enemy get knocked out of your hammer range

      It does reduce the effectiveness of a tech he has where if you swing at the proper angle instead of knocking them away it pulls them closer. This is different from his other swing tech where he extends his hotbox range using corner swings.
      Overall this is a buff for those who either don't know the tech, aren't good with the tech, or just can't be bothered to do the tech in the middle of an intense brawl.

    The updated color blind options are such a great change from what they originally were! Being able to customize personal settings, rather than choosing from a few options, can make the difference between literally being able to see important details and not.

    Regarding the map changes, I hope they plan to add an alternate time-of-day to every map at some point, they can rotate them between Seasons to keep things interesting as a substitute to Map Pools.
    I like the little preview window in the settings, maybe they'll add every hero cinematic to the Hero Gallery like they did for JQ and Kiriko, would be nice for new players to get an idea what that hero is all about.

    I think Reins hammer knock back change is not good for when you're pinning enemies off the map and giving them a last hit to push them further. However, it probably stop enemies being pushed further away from you when they’re jumping.
    I think more good than bad 🔨 👍

      As a ball main. This is a massive buff to ball. Rien can't hit me off course anymore. I always get mad when Rien swing kills my fire ball speed.

      @@jasontrumbo4809 Anyone with eyes, 2 limbs, and bio-electric currents going through their brain can properly punish Mercy. If Mercy is not in shooting range, then she isnt a concern at that moment.
      The hard part being the Sojourn right beside Mercy will destroy your HP bar with one right click. So Mercy clearly isnt the problem.

    For Rein there always seems to be this issue where the knock back will sometimes knock targets away from you . This should help him stick to targets a bit better .

      yeah it always just felt so inconsistent, sometimes they go to the side, sometimes they move away, sometimes you even suck them back in. I think just lessening that seeming randomness will be better to play with overall though.

      Its because of directional influence, basically people running away from you will be sent farther than someone in neutral or walking toward you. Really nice to not bump supports running away from you, im interested to see how it will be

    The only thing im surprised they didn’t nerf is the one DPS that hits harder than reaper, moves faster than tracer, and snipes better than widow…Soujorn

      What power? Unless you have a damage boost or nano blade is ultra mid. The Devs don't play the game.

    As a rein main the knock back reduction on hammer will be a quality of life for both reins and enemies. I won’t get frustrated so much that a basic attack is stunlocking me, and as a rein I won’t have to chase enemies as much.

      reducing tank health is prehaps the dumbest decision the devs have ever come up with, they wont rest until every role slowly devolves into pseudo dps

    The mercy changes kinda feel like a buff for pocketing a dps. You squeeze out damage boost untill they are half health and then burst them back to full with the increased healing. Probably is going to make pharmercy and sojourn mercy more annoying. And the changes to valk healing im mixed on because the constant regen was annoying to me as a winston player as she outhealed my damage with one passive ability but it seems like she can still do that?

      I felt that too lol. They didnt hurt SoujMercy at all they just made it even harder to kill a Souj through her heals. You can use cover more to make up for the lack of mobility, these changes were obviously just to make Mercy feel like shit to play without actually making Soujorn any less broken than she has been since day 1

      I agree that extra burst of healing will be quite good but in my opinion I think you’ll have a bit of a easier time bursting the pocketed target because of the heal nerf but I might be overthinking it so I’ll have to see it for myself.

She still heals like 25% of a pockets health each second or something so I dont think itll feel that noticeable on squishies but that is a good point, I think we will have to play it to see

      @@tysonallen4342 definitely good if you do burst damage but I play winton so im used to mercy being able to entirely outheal my well placed and risky dive just by being slightly outside my range and still healing an ally through my 13 second cooldown bubble :( hate that damn character

    Not a fan of the Mercy changes. I get she was a problem because of sojourn but this just feels like a nerf to her fun factor (mobility) and promotes pocketing from range even more

      It’s still a pain to get through sojourn, but I feel like this improves the situation of “I can’t kill the sojourn because mercy is healing her and mercy is impossible to kill” my making mercy slightly less hard to kill

    I'll take any improvements to Sombra gladly at this point. And Widow going back down to 175 is delightful along with Sombra's damage increase.

      It's amusing seeing them realise they might have overnerfed her when they crapped all over her last season. She's still overnerfed though, so we can await the buffs in season 4, I guess

    Man, the shield buff on ball is massive. Literally no other hero benefits from shields as much as ball does considering he can easily get out of combat and start regening them. This also helps protect that juicy armor from annoying poke, preserving it for close-quarters. You also have 150 less hp to worry about meaning that 2 giga packs and one small pack is all you need to have maxed out hp. Pile driver buff is also cool since it's damage was incosistent and underwhelming for a 10 sec cd

      I don't know. I still think Piledrive is one of, if not the strongest ability in his kit. Displaces the enemy, damages them in a large AoE, sets up his ultimate... 8 seconds doesn't seem too bad on paper but it's actually quite scary. I think the ability might be a bit too frequent now.
      My suggestion - tweak it back to 9 seconds, but give a small buff to his primary fire.

The main problem I have with Orisa surviving so long vs Ball surviving so long is that Orisa is able to tank all that damage with fortify and contest space. Ball can only come in with a scoop and dive and then run away after shooting a bit. Sure, you can argue that he can have up to a maximum of 1300 HP, but that is conditional compared to Orisa's fortify. I also need to mention that the skill ceiling for playing ball decently is much higher than playing Orisa decently.

      @@megit6607 for a target that is harder than orisa to hit, ball is pretty tanky. 1300 is unlikely. 1000-1100 is not. and that is a LOT of hp. considering ball can pretty much just leave whenever he wants... i dont hate the buffs, but im doubting if this is how he should be buffed. id like personally to see a less tanky more dmg heavy ball. or perhaps some utility, wouldnt flaming hot ground after where he rolls in fire mode be cool??? sounds cool to be and that is rather good util.

    This is a significant buff for Rein mains. One problem was that Damage heroes who would hit and run could sometimes get assisted with running by our Hammer. With this buff, Reinhardt can more consistently get that last swing to finish then off instead of helping them escape.

    As a rein main, I would largely say less hammer knockback is a buff, but it's sort of situational. Can definitely hurt sometimes around ledges or in tight corridors as you can knock people further from their team, but past that.. not bad overall.

    The mercy changes have the exact opposite effect of what they wanted. Higher ga cooldown means that mercy’s will stay back and pocket long range dps more, the support passive change will make mercy players stay back more because you don’t always have a valid healing target so they will default to blue beam behind cover more, the healing change will make pocketing much more annoying than beforehand. Who is this rework for? The mercy community hates it and they dps players main concerns weren’t addressed so who is this rework for?

      @@quhyungpark2064 I dont think it matters much, even if you can flank you still need to kill Mercy faster than a Souj can click on your head. Its definitely easier to kill her of course but Soujorn still takes 0.01 to kill any flanker and then your whole team has to wait for you to respawn and try again unless you can kill Mercy before Souj gets you, but considering its a Souj that kills you in 0.01 seconds, I dont think it changes enough

      She's flat out the strongest tank right now. I played games yesterday and she was picked on the enemy team in 100% of them. Why do you guys take so long to pick up on shit. Of course she's "so much fun to play". She's unkillable and can solo an entire team if no one knows how to aim their burst (everyone who plays this game).
      Have any of you actually sat and watched a Junker Queen running around in your games recently? Next time you play, just sit and watch the Junker Queen running back and forth around everybody not taking damage. It looks quite retarded to be honest

    As a rign main the knockback tends to be more of a hindrance then a benefit. It only helps if they are aiming at someone other than you because your hit box is so big. So overall I say this is a buff

      Tbh i like the mercy changes. Big buff on healing. One of the biggest concerns for mercy was that you were just unable to get your tank up, or protecting an ally that is low.
      This change is great, because it encourages player to damage boost until your ally is low and then heal him up.
      The 20% Speed nerf on her backwards jump is fairly insignificant, as long as you yeet your mouse across your desk xD (Which i do anyway, but each their own)
      The self healing is insane! Looking forward to test it out, especially in valc.
      The cooldown nerf is a bad one, but kinda necessary. Maybe a bit overboard. 2 Seconds would be fine.
      Right now mercy can get into pretty bad situations and just get out scott free using her movement. Now you need to think a bit more before you fly into the enemy team :)

      @@jaded-harper related to that now that u can’t see teammates ranks but they implemented a scoreboard (which is infinitely more toxic) private profiles shouldn’t be a thing anymore. They only made private profiles to reduce toxicity but like I said they made a scoreboard which is much more toxic. And the private profile thing in general is a nuisance competitively because knowing if someone on ur team is a 1trick and accidentally taking their hero is such an inconvenience or being able to counter pick someone on the other team for an advantage. In short open profiles make sense now and I hope they change that

    This whole video I waited for the ball changes... then the whole section on ball i was waiting for you to say they fixed his reloading when enterig/exiting ball form. How did they not address this in this patch? One of the worst parts of ball, can be very frustrating and frequently makers the difference between soemone living and soemone dying.     as a rein main i think the swing changes would be a buff in either directoin, higher means more cheese like knocking someone backwards if you're running perpendicular to them, and lower means, like you said, it's harder from run away if you're chasing. i would've preferred for them to increase it as it would mean i can knock people into my team, away from my team, off the map, off point, etc.

      As a Mercy main, I usually only heal when people are under 50% HP anyways, so I see it as encouraging people to be more proactive in switching heals and buff.

    The non-role queue tank changes will actually make arcade a lot more enjoyable now, especially with roadhog also having been nerfed.
    Also mercy changes I’m both a bit sad on, but more overjoyed on that passive because that is extremely strong and she’ll feel even more unkillable in valk.

      @@HogEnjoyer Yeah, it affects every non role queue game mode. So deathmatch, open queue, mystery heroes etc. Weirdly it also happens in the practice range though

    I hate the Mercy backwards GA change since they didn't also change it when you just face that way. Either do both or neither, because the way it is with this patch seems so clunky.

      I kinda think it makes sense that you’d have less momentum going backwards than forwards. 2.5 second GA cooldown seems like an extreme overreaction though

      @@TnTCinematics2012 given that now she will be unkillable in valk, i think the idea behind these changes is to make her less of a pain to deal with in general while shifting some of that power to her ult to make her ult more impactful
      So the ga cooldown nerf makes a lot of sense, but we will see if it feels good

    I play a lot of rein. I haven't tried the new rein yet, but I think I would prefer higher knockback with the hammer so I can push enemies around the battlefield to where I want them

    I feel like they went the wrong direction with the Mercy nerfs. GA is what makes the character so fun for so many people, nerfing it inherited makes the character less engaging. They should’ve nerfed rez or damage boost instead
