video like this won’t blown up bc people don’t care about getting better, they just have little feelings that come and go of getting better and don’t want to do the work. Average people will never not be average, u see this outside of video games too
4 years of watching val vids and this is one of the best ones I've seen so far. It's things I've felt but never knew how to explain. I'd love to see more videos on even just each component like showing places where you fast clear, slow clear, then fast clear [risk]. Or places where you told yourself what you'd do if they hit your site or if you had to play retake [preparation]. It'd be cool to see those from your pov. Sick video bro. You should be proud.
I really enjoyed watching this video! It felt honest and had a lot of genuine information that I think will really help me. You seem like a genuine, honest guy and earned a sub. I would love to see more like this.
How does someone find their ideal dpi and sensitivity based on your mouse and wrist moving habits? I have a superlight pro x mouse and lowkey hate it because I have a habit of wanting to use my entire arm to move in the moment of a gun fight. What do you recommend for “full arm swing” gamers?
@xoitsjello Personally I would recommend finding what sens gives you a comfortable and consistent 180. For me I got a large desk and mousemat, and basically measured my swipe distance to roughly the edge of my mousemat, then adjusted the sens bit by bit so that swipe was a 180. Also once you find that sens, just stick with it and don't over think it! Hope this makes sense?
Oh additionally DPI (dots per inch) is not really super relevant, but TECHNICALLY a higher dpi with a lower sens is preferable to low DPI and high sens, since it has a higher resolution. Like how 1080p gives you a clearer smoother video that 720p ig. But honestly that's getting really nitpicky at that point
I really like your thought process man I have so many hours in this game and learnt a lot from watching and studying a lot of valorant but the way you put things into words is very similar to how my thought process is. I try to teach people valorant mindset and it is nice to feel reassured in some ways that when i think i’m knowing how to optimally think and do things i’m not actually hurting myself. good vid.
This was actually one of the best videos ive ever watched on valorant. You can tell this guy put a lot of effort into this. Genuinely, thank you so much for this. Keep it up ❤️
Thank you for this video! I realize I’ve been relying on my team so much and get mad when they don’t perform to the level I expect. But you are right. That’s on me. Seriously keep making videos please
Proz showed us what “self enlightenment” is all about, fail and learn have a mentality to self criticise and improve on your mechanics having an open awareness mind to be humble while you get better.. top dawg for a reason🔥🔥🔥
One thing that really helped me improve my crosshair placement and fundamentals was playing with guns that really punish bad crosshair placement. If you're playing with a sheriff or guardian against vandals/phantoms on swiftplays on unrateds, even if the other player is fundamentally worse than you, they will have a gun diff advantage against you because you will need to hit your first shot whereas they can get away with spraying through their crosshair correction. After a few days of doing this to warm up I noticed a huge improvement in my accuracy and headshot percentage, as well as winning more games.
I feel like this is one of the few valorant guides that don’t give advice in fking riddles bro. Very straight forward and to the point. This probably is the best Val guide I’ve ever watched. 🙏
I was hard stuck plat for 3 years and I found it so hard to stay consistent. Until I figured out on my own that I need to change my mentality approaching games and stop crying and realise how I could stop taking BAD fights. I caught my self in full focus and I was happy that I got diamond but I was still so dialled in that I went from being plat 3 to diamond 3 99 rr in one season. And I mean until that point I was CARRYING my games and out fragging people that I never imagined I could ever even kill. Then I sort of lost my focus again but after a break I'm gonna be coming back and going for immortal. It's everything that this video includes is everything I figured out naturally from playing for so long I can't agree with it anymore and I'm sending this to everyone who asks me for tips. Good video!
Great video dude, solidified the conclusions I was coming to. Thinking what I can do is why I moved to playing smokes, because the tool I most often feel we need is smokes, and playing around smokes is such a powerful way to gain an advantage. So playing smokes puts me in control.
I’m so happy you went over that first part, so many low rank players blame teammates or smurfs or whatever the fuck for them not ranking up, and don’t hold themselves accountable at all.
I just started playing valorant like 4 days ago coming from years of ow2 and I’m really enjoying it. I like the community’s focus on improvement and the learning curve is rewarding. It’s easy to get swept up in tutorials but I appreciate the point you make on stress testing for yourself on what works. One thing that is confusing for me is situational stuff like the vandal vs phantom dilemma or crouch spraying.
Your point on autodidacting was a thing i didnt realise i didnt do! im quite low i the ranks but around gold high gold ish, and after rewatching some of the clips ive saved my crosshair is glued (at head height) at the corner of the wall, its crazy i never thought to had my crosshair out of the angle im getting peaked from but this is a great tip i will take on board. definitely worth my sub!
Fr loved the video I find myself trying too hard to coordinate with my teammates and focusing so much of my mental energy trying to keep team morale up sometimes instead of focusing on myself and what I can do more. I make it a point to myself so often to stay positive in team chat and it really shines sometimes in games. Just yesterday I had a teammate I was trying to coordinate with and he wouldn’t listen, instead started mocking me and doing the opposite. Luckily I was playing phoenix that game so I could really do a lot on my own, got a couple of aces then all of a sudden he became my “best friend” and wanted to work with me. It’s very common I find that if you’re not popping off in a game a lot of people don’t want to listen to you, it’s better to focus on what you yourself can do and I thank you for putting that into my mind as well as the crosshair placement tips. Only negative I’ll say is I feel like the Tenz bashing was a little much haha could’ve utilized other povs but I understand where you’re coming from him being the glorified Messiah of Valorant. Excellent video you earned a sub from me.

I’ve been immortal 3 hardstuck since episode 1 and these are seriously some good tips. They are things I knew but it’s a nice reminder to focus on especially when in higher elo cause every little thing matters
I am Bronze 2 and my aim is appreciated by ascendant 3 players . And this game is 5 player, having a good team will make it so much easier to rank up. Whether i have to face AFK, dont know the basic thing to do, that really make it way harder and impossible sometimes, cause aim is not everything. So the last point i kinda agree half heartedly.
This is really cool. As someone trying to finally hit Radiant however these are not really any secrets tbh. Good mental, how to peek, crosshair placement, positionin, risk calculation and focusing on oneself aren't really groundbreaking news. It's a really good video for the general audience though since it covers fundamentals on solo queueing. What I wanna know as an immortal player trying to hit Radiant are things like: - Should I solo/duo/trio or 5 stack? - Should I play only specific servers or full random - Do Radiant players play more aggressive while minimizing risks or it doesn't even matter at all how defensive or aggressive you are? - How much DM do you play? Recently I meet Radiant peak players (800-1200RR) quite often in my DMs and wondered if radiants use DM that much or it's just my DM lobbies. - Does it take a lot of games for the average Radiant player? - Do you still queue up even though you have a lose streak but feel like it's close calls or something out of your control (still good mental and not tired out)
As someone one who has been playing Valorant since the day one of beta, sitting in Poki's stream and preying for a drop. I have wanted nothing more then to get better at this game. i have solo qued for the last 4 years slowing improving and working my way up. just yesterday I peeked P3 (started at bronze 2). so please man give us some more. These tips have truly helped me realize a lot of mistakes I've been making, in every video I watch people always say the same exact thing and never go into the depth about the topics, so truly thank you for making this video. THE GOAT
incredible video, just a genuine guy being real and giving great advice, so many of these people online give terrible advice and majority of the time val advice is subjective as everyone carries a different perspective to how they play the game, that is what i learnt over playing so many fps games and competitive ones, keep it up ill drop a follow on twitch and hopefully sub when i get paid soon bro :)
Wow, this is the first really useful video where the author has super valid points and doesn't end up showing some stupid shooting range routine. Keep it up! 💪
what i have discovered that some people that start to be toxic are not immune to love, i know its hard but u have to be really kind to them, they throw tantrums like children, you have to act to them like they are, so tell them that you can buy them, tell them gj/nt. because like whos gonna be toxic to you when you throw love at them
wait ur actually cooking with this, the aiming away from a corner is def nice, much different than how you play other fps games because you can actually move while shooting lol, also learning whats best for you in that situation based off your personal reaction time is very nice, this makes sense why i aim insane and other times i just get inconsistent, realizing that i aim a certain way simply because where my crosshair is rather than flicking everytime
I am not sure if I should be watching stuff like this being an entirely new player but hey, it's good to train some mindset early eh? Honestly the thing about focusing on what YOU could do better and how YOU can make your team win speaks so much volume and not just for Valorant, many other competitive games, for your MOBAs too. People are too trigger happy pointing fingers and never stop to think about what they could do. I approve of the messages in the video, good stuff.
Bro the first valo tips and guide video that I genuinely think is worth it.... Not the scammer ytbers who just wana State the obvious like head level placement or just aim practice bro just gave a nice piece of mind to me ngl
You made me realize things in a whole new world 💪🏾🤙🏾💯🥂 I’m new to the game I started on valorant mobile and this energy and knowledge put me in the right direction thanks 🤙🏾
Great video, I am a Diamond Jett player and a few of these resonate a lot with me. Like playing more self-sufficient agents because I often get tilted when my team is not flashing/smoking/darting and I'm still trying to "be the duelist" and go in and I just die because I have no info. I also am quite good with the op but just average with vandal. I had a realization that I hold off the corner the way you showed every time I op to because I play with this "can't miss" attitude where with the vandal I tend to hold too tight with a "shoot quick" attitude. Which usually means reacting too slow and having to adjust my aim and now try to control recoil as well. I am excited to give this tip a try and hold my vandal more how I hold with my op.
Its funny to realise that ur auto didact applies to real life problems as well so thank you proz i wish you the best and im looking forward to new videos
I would love to see more of this kind of content. You covered a lot of important topics in a way that proves you have a more than decent grasp of what you're talking about. I'm currently in Asc 3 and would love to see more from you. Specifically, I'd like to see more in-depth examples of how and where to apply some of the principles you talk about, as well as showing us gameplay where you explain what you're thinking about while playing. Ex. Why you're pushing to a certain position, why you expect an enemy to peak a certain angle the way they do, how you remain calm etc. I would love to know if there's almost like an order of operations that you run through mentally when playing. But yeah, overall, loved the video and hope to see more from you in the near future, you've earned my sub :)
One suggestion, you should make a based on all the different ranks... compile a list of what each player in each rank should focus on more to reach the next rank. What I personally try to look for is more of what a hardstuck Immortal player should focus more on to climb to Radiant, but other people like platinum's maybe looking for what they should be doing to hit diamond.
As someone who got to gold one and is struggling winning because of team situations and crosshair placement I actually think this will help me so thanks for the vid
This is a very good video, I personally believe that this video has completely changed my perspective on the game and how it should be played. Keep it up m8!
I feel like the “cheating” crosshair placement tip was a huge factor in me making it from hard stuck silver for the last 3 years to now finally not only getting into gold but passing gold into plat and almost diamond. I had a terrible habit of anticipating my swing and placing my crosshair in a wall or a smoke, when I should have been anticipating their swing and aiming where the potential threat is
Im ngl this video was actaully the only video ive seen that other videos havnt including the other youtubers who say only 1 percent know this trick and stuff like that, and the peeking part was the thing i was wondering about so very good info
this video is more personal, you know what i mean, like this guy is really going through it, so he know what he told us to do, insane video, sub immediately
Hit radiant a few times myself, you did a pretty good job of making a useful video and covering the core elements. The unfortunate truth is there is actually so much detail within each subject in the video, so many different possibilities. And you have to recognize situations and act so quickly, I’m afraid you simply have to play the game a LOT and as you said “autodidact”
This is the best Valorant video which I have ever seen. I would say the only 1 you need to watch. Have been playing from Beta version and still bronze. I believe that I am going to grow up now. Ty ♥
i realized this around gold and its super helpful ive gotten so many free kills with aiming out about where a player would swing cause if they over swing you ur in trouble its harder to readjust your crosshair to players also applies to ur reaction time ur not gonna shoot someone the millisecond they peak u gotta adjust so ur ready for these things
Maaaan I've gotten back into Valorant just as some of my other favourite games are getting major updates or expansions. But regardless I've been playing and watching a lot more content but this is some of the best! New sub
something differente that could be really fun to see would be which are the biggest mistakes per elo that you see the most, like Bronze - mostly mechanics, and so on. I feel like around diamond/asc is mostly overall but i also feel that people on this rank tends to be "the hero" too much and always ends up losing a lot of 5v3, 3v1 etc. So would be really nice to have like a top 3 tips for each rank or anything around that (: good luck btw, great video
This is my first time doing a video like this, ill try to improve more as i make these. Sorry if its hard to understand on certain parts.... tried my best ❤❤❤❤❤

These tips have truly helped me realize a lot of mistakes I've been making, in every video I watch people always say the same exact thing and never go into the depth about the topics, so truly thank you for making this video. THE GOAT
Dude actually put the fattest smile on my face lol I'll make another video trust
Underrated, need more of those from you, keep the content coming man
incredible video, just a genuine guy being real and giving great advice, so many of these people online give terrible advice and majority of the time val advice is subjective as everyone carries a different perspective to how they play the game, that is what i learnt over playing so many fps games and competitive ones, keep it up ill drop a follow on twitch and hopefully sub when i get paid soon bro :)
Bro 😭 I wish YT would monetize me so i can buy a cooler for my cpu 😡 (idk what I'm yapping) I appreciate the comment 😂
I love how transparent this vid is, definitely helpefuy
AutoDidact: also your own situation is different than for example TenZ‘s situation was.
Wow, this is the first really useful video where the author has super valid points and doesn't end up showing some stupid shooting range routine. Keep it up! 💪
what i have discovered that some people that start to be toxic are not immune to love, i know its hard but u have to be really kind to them, they throw tantrums like children, you have to act to them like they are, so tell them that you can buy them, tell them gj/nt. because like whos gonna be toxic to you when you throw love at them
doesn not work every time, but it can at leastlessen the rage
you just gained a sub bro, this video helped me alot clearing things out that I‘ve already thought about but never knew how to like explain it🙏🏻
Im kinda new to the game, thank you for these tips
7:35 now thats what I call an ace, great job. Also nice video i've subscribed
Keep up the good content man feels great to get good advices and not boring ones, continue like that bro
This is one of the best tips videos I´ve ever sawn... For real man I would aprieciate another video❤❤❤
Lmao dope video I love it all especially you casually dumping on the over glazed tenz
Such a good video the space when you hold a corner is not discussed enough thank you for open my eyes on this one
The first tip about my mental really had me thinking bout all the bottom frags I've screamed at u got my sub
Very helpful and informative video!
Amazing video. The things you just said improved my game, especially the mental part HAHAHA
As a hardstuck Immortal since act2, (and one game off of rad) these are honestly the best tips to hear. ❤️😢
Thank you Proz.
wait ur actually cooking with this, the aiming away from a corner is def nice, much different than how you play other fps games because you can actually move while shooting lol, also learning whats best for you in that situation based off your personal reaction time is very nice, this makes sense why i aim insane and other times i just get inconsistent, realizing that i aim a certain way simply because where my crosshair is rather than flicking everytime
U are amazing brother looking forward to another video to learn more of how the game plays out in your image, keep up the good work love u
Best on yt bro, appreciates so much for this content
I am not sure if I should be watching stuff like this being an entirely new player but hey, it's good to train some mindset early eh?
Honestly the thing about focusing on what YOU could do better and how YOU can make your team win speaks so much volume and not just for Valorant, many other competitive games, for your MOBAs too. People are too trigger happy pointing fingers and never stop to think about what they could do.
I approve of the messages in the video, good stuff.
awesome video dude, could learn so much from this
The tip about reaction time crosshair placement is great. Nice video!
autodidact lowkey is kinda smart, never really thought about it too deeply
im gonna try to experiment more with my own gameplay from now on
Bro the first valo tips and guide video that I genuinely think is worth it.... Not the scammer ytbers who just wana State the obvious like head level placement or just aim practice bro just gave a nice piece of mind to me ngl
You made me realize things in a whole new world 💪🏾🤙🏾💯🥂
I’m new to the game I started on valorant mobile and this energy and knowledge put me in the right direction thanks 🤙🏾
love the video, please keep doing what you doing and keep deliver those great informations coming out
Great video, I am a Diamond Jett player and a few of these resonate a lot with me.
Its funny to realise that ur auto didact applies to real life problems as well so thank you proz i wish you the best and im looking forward to new videos
ur advice on aiming wide and not through the wall is so good, for some reason for the longest time i’ve been aiming THROUGH the wall.
best info i’ve gotten for val and i’ve been playing on and off for 2 years💀
I would love to see more of this kind of content.
Bro plz I peaked immo and was getting bored. (thought I reached my skill cap) keep doing more indepth tutorials
I watched this 3 times but ima save it to watch later so I can watch it again in case I forget.😂😂
Video title: What the top 1% don’t tell you
Proceeds to say: “Figure it out on your own”
Maaaan I've gotten back into Valorant just as some of my other favourite games are getting major updates or expansions. But regardless I've been playing and watching a lot more content but this is some of the best! New sub
most honest advice so far. im gold 1 and a beginner thanks
something differente that could be really fun to see would be which are the biggest mistakes per elo that you see the most, like Bronze - mostly mechanics, and so on. I feel like around diamond/asc is mostly overall but i also feel that people on this rank tends to be "the hero" too much and always ends up losing a lot of 5v3, 3v1 etc. So would be really nice to have like a top 3 tips for each rank or anything around that (: good luck btw, great video
