Yeah it was great meeting you with my brother and friend, you signed his Senna poster in the pits after the race, amazing drive out there, come back next year hahah
Its crazy how an ex F1 driver, at a mid level team, can switch series boost viewers and fans. Great job Romain. I really do hope you get a drivers championship. Gene must be saying shit...I should have started an indy team and built it around Grosjean.
Cool drive, it would be awesome if you talked about how this Indycar street track compare to the F1 tracks you have race on like Baku, Singapore or Monaco? Its been great to see your driving in Indy car this year!
I just moved out of LA and I’m bummed I won’t be able to see this race! I’ve been cheering you on since 2016 and it would’ve been awesome to see you race.
In simracing the halo should be partly transparent. We have two eyes but the image we see is in 2D screen. Drivers look past it in real life, but we have to look directly at it.
Looking forward to the race. This street circuit looks very technical, with high potential for yellow flags. Crossing my fingers it's not as much of a circus as Nashville 🤞
Should be way better than Nashville, they've been racing at Long Beach for a long time. It's generally considered the 2nd most prestigious North American Open Wheel race after the Indy 500.
One of the most fun things I have been doing this Indycar season is driving the tracks (if they exist) in iRacing the week or weeks before the event. I am not good enough yet to make a clean lap around in the IR18 on most courses. I have been running the USF-2000 car, the MX-5 (ND), and the Formula Vee. Best wishes this week Romain, I'll have to watch the race on a recording as I am racing/stewarding Sunday myself.
I would love to see that too but Long Beach is the wrong track for it. IndyCar would have to run the race at 10:00PM ET for the broadcast to work. And Long Beach probably wouldn't allow it due to the noise or the lighting required to safely run the course at night. St. Pete or Toronto would honestly be better choices because they could be run at more sane hours and probably could handle the lights and noise better.
Des murs , des bosses , des vibreurs , des concurrents acharnés qui connaissent mieux le circuit que vous , pas de grosses lignes droites . Je comprend que vous soyez extrêmement concentré pour la dernière ligne droite de la saison . Bonne chance ! 😁 Je n'ai que cela a dire 💪✊

Pimax 8kx with it's wide FOV (150ish degrees) makes it ideal for sim racing.
Nice. At the fountain, it's left right left. Why do you not cut more in the right hand corner? It looks as if you're having a slow exit out of that section because you drive around the right hand corner too much. I'm sure there is a reason. What is it? Is the curb so high it unsettle the car? Am I seeing the line wrong? Does it not hurt to drive towards the barrier (with the NTT ad) in the last left because there is not more acceleration possible and you want to keep the minimum speed up? I am really curious. Thank you!
The curbs at the fountain on the real track is similar to the shot at 0:17 in this vid. If you jump the curb too much you’ll get underbody damage, be out of position for the next left, and worst above all, getting a fine from the city of Long Beach for damaging the garden. Nobody wants that fine.
