- It took me two days to put together this Amazon 8x6 Outdorr shed Build and it's still not done. See if it's worth it. I'm moving my craft space to the garage so everything had to come out. So let's build a shed.

I build sheds, garages, playhouses and all other outdoor structures, so I really enjoy watching do it yourselfer's give it a go. I'm not really a fan of prefab metal sheds. They're just not as durable, but they're quick and easy to assemble. You ladies did a great job figuring it all out and getting the job done, nice work, well done.

Hi Katrina. I just tuned in to your video. I have a similar quest. I noticed that your shed's design is very similar to mine, however the shed I have purchased is the 4 x 6 one but similar to yours. I want to thank you and your sister for recording your adventures so that I can get an idea of what might lie ahead for my adult grandson and I when our weather here in Washington State warms and dries up enough so that we can get out in the back yard to assemble the shed for my chicken girl's new coop. Just chanced onto seeing this, and you were charming in your enthusiasm. Not that this message helps you now, but maybe people reading can benefit. I have done similar things and the directions often do not tell you little things like some pieces may look identical but they are not! Sometimes flipping it top to bottom makes the overlaps work and the holes magically line up. I hope you have it figured out now.

We purchased a similar shed from Amazon and had the same issue with the holes not lining up🤦🏽♀️ we ended up drilling more holes and making it work and yes it took forever to put together. It was stressful! You both did great! Love your channel ❤️🙏🏽

Yall did a great job! Careful of any big limbs overhanging that shed from surrounding trees. One good 20 pound tree limb and it's destroying that roof and potentially what's under it.

Screws holes not lining. Get metals drive bit to match screw size at local hardware store/Lowes/ Home Depot. Mark panels at desired panel interlocking. Drill hole and place screw. Use wood cement or metal epoxy to close open holes.

I need to build a shed for storing my supplies that are overwhelming my craft room.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Please note these metal sheets are kind of flimsy and they are not bug proof. My current house came with a metal shed that I do not use because it is infested with every spider species known to man. Lol!

Just an FYI for people watching this vlog ... get a permit BEFORE purchasing the shed ... and check all easements before shed placement.

Good job. They sent you a defective unit. Got us like that. They sent us a new one and told us to keep the old one. I cut the bracket to make it shorter so the holes line up

You should have just hired the old man to build you a 8'x8' shed that matches your home. It probably would have been around the same price.

Nice build. Would encourage you to get a stronger secure build. Build subject to weather failures; high winds, Heavey ice-snow/rains. Walls are weak/security risk (extended trips, General malfefease. Better option Rent to Buy Shed Buildings in your. Size of your design pricing range avg $300-900 depending on features. Mthly payments avg $30-65. Purchase for my use design 20’ wide x 16’ deep for $5145; Mthly pay $105. Lease holder Titan Leasing. Building with two upper deck attic storage areas 8’ deep and two work storage benches 4’ deep. The location may have discontinued or reclaimed models that retail for 1/2 to 3/4 original price. Final, my building is rated to withstand up to 150 windspeed strength storms/hurricanes/tornadoes, Good luck and be blessed.☕️🍦

You're are truly blessed. I just wonder why invest in another property for enhancements and no t yours that you own. I know God will provide you with your own home/space so why not take the time to expand your own. I know blessings are over flowing but I also know that God wants you to own it not rent...keep being successful just words of positivity, please don't take offense
I have owned just not here in Charlotte. I have my plan and I’m trying to figure out if I’m staying in Charlotte or relocating to another state. I couldn’t wait to buy a home. This shed is not permanent and can be moved. Everything I did was minor changes and needed for right now. But thank you. I have a bigger plan and God will work it all out for me.
