Debates don't have to get personal. It's basketball. It's not that deep. Acting like if I don't come out screaming like I'm Stone Cold Steve Austin screaming at dudes that we're not debating. Debates aren't screaming. That's what ESPN does and they're going bankrupt.
We disagreed on 50 things today but kept it respectful. That's not a bad thing. We disagreed on Edey with Ox, disagreed on Jalen Green's value, the Knicks future, league parity, OG's value, Risacher vs Sarr...

Pen was 100 percent correct about Randle’s value as a player and it’s same why I feel about DeMar. Star talents that don’t have value skills on winning teams.
Yeah I’ve always felt that way as well. I used to put KAT in that convo as well, but after seeing more in the playoffs from him, I think his floor spacing saves him from that convo. He’s a tier 2 if you will because he’s still got deficiencies that can’t be fixed like being a bad defender, slow footed, and sus playmaking.
@@aherbo18Same I also use to feel similarly about KAT but he had his best playoff run and the spacing he provides for a big is valuable for a contending team. He is a tier above the Randle's but he is not a top 20-25 player.

The only concerning ones are ‘29 snd ‘31 but if they keep OG and make a run with some luck to a finals, whether they win it all or not it’ll be seen as worth it considering they haven’t sniffed a finals since 99
@@XanielMarino I'm a knick fan. Seen 94 and 99. Anything short of a ring is a failure. We now have no flexibility, no cap space and no true star. Randle and Brunson are fringe all stars. They can make it one year and miss the next. We sent out 7 picks, obi, Barrett, quickly and all we came back with is bridges and og. 2 dudes who never been all stars
@@cl8355 I’m also a Knick fan since 00 and I agree with you about Randle but completely disagree about Brunson, Mikal and OG. We’ll just have to see how this plays out but I like what we did going all in on having a great complete team rather than waiting around and wasting time waiting for a star that never comes or costs us the depth of the roster like Melo did during a time when, outside of the Celtics at full strength, the entire league looks beatable. Plus i don’t think anyone we could’ve drafted from 19-25 would’ve been as effective as Mikal bridges even just as a role player.

People callin the show boring for having intelligent ball talk bewilders me. Yall have rose colored glasses on of how things were with Ticket. When someone talks over everyone, does nothin but disagrees just to disagree and is overall annoying to the people he's speaking to; that's not enjoyable, it's hard to watch
What I’ve learned is a lot of these people don’t actually know ball and get annoyed because they can’t keep up with an actual basketball discussion with context and nuance. Or they were just here to laugh at niggas arguing

@@malikwilson7387 I just enjoy good basketball talk. There's a difference between what Ticket brings and then good, sometimes loud, high energy that they still tend to bring. It comes in different ways and it comes with a lot more respect. Domo, when he speaks up (which he needs to do more imo), brings that energy and throws out interesting ideas. With the normal panel cast too, if you think they're boring you either A) Don't care for genuine basketball discussion or B) Don't listen to the whole episodes. Ox is always sayin something wild, Ron and Chill always try to keep energy up, Marz trolls/says somethin funny, etc. I'll agree some of the guests lack any sort of interesting energy, but PC knows and grows from it.

I completely disagree with how much penn values picks. At some point you can’t continue to think about where you might be in the future vs where you can be in the present. If you just always look towards the possibilities of the future you miss the opportunities of the present.
And on top of that there’s a lot of teams that would gladly mortgage the future with the hopes of winning short term. Plus his whole argument against them trading the picks was based on “what ifs”, what if someone isn’t there, what if they aren’t healthy, what if the 12 year old you’d draft in 2031 is the next lebron. Nothing he said was based in something tangible it’s all worst case scenario hypotheticals and how often does the worst case scenario become reality?
Enjoyed this episode, I've been staying away from all basketball channels after my mavs lost, but it's refreshing to have episodes without drama and useless beef.

I seen footage of Cooper Flagg in the Duke practice, this guy is a generational talent. Flagg to me has a higher ceiling than Wemby.
Flagg has a chance to be the next MJ & LeBron, he might be the greatest prospect of all time. The kid has no flaws in his game & is a great defender. Super athletic, highly skilled wit great handles, a middy, a 3 ball & a post game and got a high bball IQ.
He also got that dog in him and seems like a leader. Flagg is like a combo of KD & Giannis, never seen anything like him. I hope there’s no discrimination wit him being White American, he deserves to get a lot of hype and be the #1 pick, he’s that great

@@MarzTalksSports To me Cooper got less flaws than Wemby and is just as talented. Wemby cant guard bigger centers in the post due to his skinnier frame and for Cooper who’s most likely a SF or PF can guard his position better & has a stronger body.
Cooper is a more dynamic ball handler and they’re both equal defensively. It will be interesting to see when Cooper is in the NBA to really compare the 2, I just prefer Cooper more. Eye wise I never been more impressed by a prospect, there’s things Cooper does that I never seen before with another basketball player
