The rules from different eras has made Curry look better. The rules when Allen came in were more defensive oriented, so less points were scored. Allen came into the league where defenses started to get better. Allen played in the best defensive era. Curry didnt. If Curry did, we would be speaking about him differently. In the 90's, the defenses were more preferenced around the rim but more three-point shooting was emphasized...more so than the previous eras. However, they still didn't shoot threes in large volumes. In today's era, defenses are spreaded out because offenses are more spreaded out. It is difficult to defend in today's era but you have more zone now, which can help with spread offenses. In the 90's, you couldn't play zone as illegal defense existed. Some teams disguised their zone defense but made sure as much as possible that it wasn't noticeable by officials. Go actually watch basketball from older eras, you'll see what I speak of. I think young Ray Allen as well as prime Ray Allen will really thrive in today's era. He'll shoot even more because there's more space to do so. In addition, he was a slasher, so he'll definitely get to the rim more and to the free throw line more. Allen was slash to the rim on 90's defenses primarily that packed the paint. What make you think it wouldn't be easier in today's era. Lol. In conclusion, Ray Allen would look way more explosive in today's era as the rules would greatly tailor to his game.

It's pretty clear none of these folks actually pay attention while watching Jokic. There is a play in the finals where KCP was trying to make an inbounds pass. Jokic and Gordon are at the 3-point line. Jokic runs to the free throw line and both Butler and Bam run at him to stop the pass. Jokic immediately points upwards cause seeing Jokic move, Gordon moves to the dunker's spot. KCP makes a long pass for the alley-oop. He never touched the ball in this sequence. There are maybe 2 other people in NBA right now who can match his BB IQ and decision-making.
