Very fine video, the message may indeed be lost on the rash and impetuous.
I now see that with all I've overcome, strived for, or had to deal with since birth, that perhaps I am tired of dealing with pain in its many forms and this is what has bound me and dragged me down- even when apparent opportunity has "knocked"...
Is it surmountable? I no longer know.

I would love for you to expand and make a part 2 of the wealth triangle....I become a victim to the motivational speakers saying take action and go for it and outsource work then get rich....smg without thinking that if it fails how will I make it financially...what high income skill can I fall back on...

Don't start a business without any money. Get some money coming in first. Think twice before you start a business and if you really want it and your not broke then go and get it. The ability to endure pain for a long period of time makes you a entrepreneur.

What are Entrepreneurs made of? A lot of pain and rejection and dark moments where people have no more faith in your success and you continue to take that from everyone time and again and still survive, that is the mark of an Entrepreneur. This is the key. Never give up in those pressured dark moments and you will shine one day.

    • @whatevergoesforme5129
      @whatevergoesforme5129 6 лет назад +9

Agree. This is why I'd rather follow Dan's advice because is it is realistic. I have never agreed with Kiyosaki's hype that you can really start a business without money. You need financing in different forms. And Kiyosaki's ideas like financial freedom and passive income have been debunked by Dan Lok and I am glad an entrepreneur like Dan actually said what I have been thinking about those issues.

So I got into entrepreneurship unknowingly. I thought I was becoming a financial advisor, not knowing I was responsible for my branding, marketing, advertising, protecting, fact finding, presenting, closing and client management lol. Almost 10 years later And somehow I’m still in business, which I’m very thankful for.
But 4:30 hit me hard. I 100% realized I’d be really happy going back to a high income skill and continuing to invest in more investment properties. Entrepreneurship and having my own business doesn’t actually relate to my overall happiness.

I didn't start my business with much money 6 years ago, but granted I was 21 and a Junior in college...sooo.. that's kinda how that works for most people in that situation.
It took a few years to see profit, we were on the verge of bankruptcy several times, we hit points where we simply needed more capital to push past plateaus or we were going to "grow ourselves to death", but in the end Dan's mentor's wise words seemed to resonate. We were able to endure pain for a long period of time. And in the end, we came out on top and won.

I saw your video today about 3 types of employees and you gave me great material for my interview from an inside point of view. That is one of the most truthfull answer I have ever heard...I have done all the mistakes he mentioned, like start a business out of desperation, or expecting to be successful quick, or after loosing my job and no solid foundation.
But I am still at it, going back on the drawing board and moving forward...Throughout this process I've learned alot about myself and one thing I can definitely say is I can not endure physical pain, but the pain that comes with faillure that I can endure, and keep trying again...

blunt truth. The exact same way a business mogul in my country started out -she had a job and the business was a side hustle.
In the early stages of your business, you shouldn't feed from it at all, everything needs to be ploughed back.. have your feeding/living money coming from elsewhere, maybe a job... maybe a fund, maybe family. Because a business, like a plant, needs a gestation period, that time when it won't give you no fruits but you have 2 water n feed it instead.

Dan said right!. Don't start a business when you've stuck in a financial problem.
Business like a marathon running. need to take care, take time and sometime
it take your self-confidence out form you.
    .
But If you decide to do a business. As Dan said
"Successful entrepreneur is the ability to endure pain for a long period of time"
endure for what..? no one can answer, except yourself.
    .
For me I endure for my passion
I would like create value and send my value through my product and service to my customer.
To make them more happy, more better life, and more successful.

Dear “Boss in the Bentley,” you are incredible and your words are the truth. I am proof of that. 5 years ago, my debts on cards and to my family were in amount of 35k. Oh my, I read financial magazines, googled for wisdom, and even met with bankers for a way out. All distraction in today’s outside world suggests refinancing and consolidating debts, and blah blah, saucing it like they fucking care. There is only one solution: work, get a job, get two, get three if you must, and pay off every penny when you can. I did. Took me less time then I thought, once I was focused on just work, enjoying it, giving it a value and working more and more. Once debt is paid, credit is repaired, extra money are saved, and wider range of opportunities are available.

That's some priceless information you're sharing! I totally agree with Dan. I had to become an entrepreneur-artist because I wanted to grow in my area and keep doing the things I love (fortunately, people appreciated my creator-owner work). Sometimes, working only for clients doesn't allow you to grow in the way you need, or want to. That's the reason I spent more than ten years polishing my skills (not only in arts) before moving forward as an entrepreneur-artist. And, geez, I didn't want to start totally broken and feeling like I need to accept the first deal someone offers to me.

I have started a business n a country where English is not the first language, which is a challenge. Also a country where my competitors are in a tight clique. I have followed your mantra of fuck the competition and dont play by their rules. I’m enjoying being the upstart and I intend to own the marketplace. I have also followed your advice of concentrating on market positioning and letting the clients come to me (obviously with some sales pipeline) and it is working, most of the clients are coming via email enquiry or referral and I am creating more value and much better response than the competition so it is starting to pay off. Watch this space 😊

My little brother started a building company with no money. He got a government study loan and took a building course, then he met a guy who had a factory producing house frames with a few empty offices, he moved in a desk and a computer into an empty room in the factory, got a sign maker to give him credit on a sign and put it on the factory, built a website made a few videos and he set his prices higher than other builders and everyone said he would fail. Then he signed a client, then another, then another, then he signed up a big company for 100 frames a year for the guys who's office he borrowed, this was 6 months ago, they now have about 3million worth of work on the books. Desperation and brains can be tools if u have the balls to use them. A lot of what he does he learned on google and working for other people.

This where I'm at RIGHT NOW - the side hustle can be challenging after a F/T job...and I'm committed to paying off the consumer debt which will take a few more months--at least the big amounts; but once I pay those off---I'll have enuff $$ to sign up for the HTC Course! Just gotta stay focused...and keep getting fed by Lokism Videos!

Sound advise. It’s the culture today that gives us only a portion of the whole reality, thus making most have false beliefs of accomplishments- while lacking the necessary skill set to overcome the hurdles of the process itself.

Sustainability is probably the hardest part of any business.
One needd to be able to provide things that are of interest for people, and do so consistently. Otherwise everything will run dry and fail in the foreseeable future.

What I heard. Ensure you have a product or service that is in a profitable niche; ensure you have the necessary skills; and have a plan that addresses all of the “what if’s” and potential issues you will face. Make sure you aren’t undercapitalized so you have staying power. Have a mentor and you better be able to endure pain for a long period of time.

I really like Dan's ideas because he is practical and realistic. Unlike other entrepreneur who makes it seem that everyone can be an entrepreneur, Dan knows it is not for everyone. I also believe that just like natural athletes, there are natural entrepreneurs. I know I am not one but why did I subscribe to Dan's channel. It is because his ideas can help anyone who wants to start something even if the objective is to survive in this world. His ideas about how to sell for example will help me in my new quest to have some form of employment when employers see me as too old to be hired. I have read Kiyosaki's books and there are things there that I find unrealistic and impractical. At least Dan has destroyed myths regarding terms like passive income and financial freedom. I have always believed that passive income is not that passive because there is still some form of hard work required to make it happen and to sustain it.
