I think successful people audit their circles. I know I’ve cut people out of my life (which was incredibly hard at the time) And it was the best decision. And successful people know how to do it without causing further issues later on.

You are a generous man, Sir. Some of your language, frankly, I think unnecessary. But your concern for people, your desire to see people succeed, shows a beautiful spirit. Kudos to you, Mr. Lok, and God bless you.

Successful people understand that everything is energy so we don't waste our energy in grudges or unproductive stuff...we also want to hear other people out and learn from them...we keep those that contribute to our development very close to us and those that trample on our self esteem away.

Great video and yes I would love to watch more videos on this topic. From my experience of learning from you and working with successful people, a few points I would add are: successful people have the ability to cut through noise and have a laser focus on what’s important, they value their time above all else, they don’t have patience for energy drainers, they realise mental and physical health is important to peak performance, they give back and they take care of their reputation.

Yes, Sifu I’m sure myself and others would benefit greatly from learning more of these key distinctions in ways of thinking or even speech pattern that may allow us to get closer to our income goals. - To train us in a way to think to become wealthy, if you will.
Also, just a note that I’ve noticed from the successful people I’ve met is that they make these Huge, almost incomprehensible goals- why is it that they’ll make goals that they may not even reach but they’ll still make them anyways? Sure they’re confident in what they can do but take Elon Musk’s goals setting pattern- usually gargantuan in nature and though his companies almost never reach them, is that to teach them to aspire towards new levels of success? In other words, is it the “aim for the moon, even if you don’t make it at least you’ll be surrounded by the stars” kind of thing?
    Thank you for your time

Yes!! Marcus Aurelius & Einstein made an impact thousands of years beyond their life time. This is my goal!! Made a million by force and I happily sabotaged myself to lose it all. I've learnt the difference between making hate and making love in the world. And the one thing that differenciates the rich from the poor Dan, it's the willingness to take responsability. You took responsability for your mom at an early age and with time, you've increased your capability to take responsability for the f.u. generation. You're not just having a business. You are spreading/planting your success mind everywhere. You give your eyes, your ears, your gut and senses. See with my eyes, hear with my ears, feel with my soul and this is thee most beautiful formula of ensuring that this particular energy will live more than you would live. This!! This is the formula for energy immortality!! Well done Dan!! Very well done!!

Hi, Dan. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with us. My question is this..I do want to bring more value to the marketplace..at the same time, do you have any suggestions on how to remain competitive with prices? I don’t want to overcharge people because then I feel that’s giving them less value and being selfish, but I also want to make enough money to be able to give back and not just barely get by financially in my life. The only strategy that seems to make sense is one similar to that of Walmart and Amazon where they charge less per item and make it up in volume of sales. Thanks again

King James Live Am in the same situation like u. In my business, I have to plan an strategy to supply clients in the same channel with the variation of quantity. For instance large quantities will've the benefit to pay me after 30 days. For small is cash and carry. This way I found myself competitive as per market payment terms. From my side I do add value to my product with complementary gift idea. That way I can maintain my customer. You 've to study your market, your product and your customers needs.

Also value is set by you as your income skill determines this. You need to feel confident in yourself before you charge a higher price. Practice in the mirror saying what your price is and what you do. One thing I have learned about the wealthy that separates them from others is that unlike most of the population wealthy people do not think in terms of per hour. They are paid on results not time. This distinction is very important and i live by it.

Great video sifu. The biggest development for me is that unsuccessful people think in ‘entitlement’ mentality. They think I’ve done this much work and I an now entitled to this. Rich and successful people think in ‘serving’ mentality. How can I serve more people with my skills? That’s what I’ve found personally

Your comment just got me thinking... What if "entitlement" mentality is the same as "victim" mentality! I've never thought of it this way but someone to takes responsibility knows what they deserve. If they work in another's company, they discuss the value the provide and the worth they offer. Maybe it turns out they can take that value elsewhere.
A victim doesn't take responsibility, they are subject to another's whim. As a victim, if someone doesn't get a pay increase, the boss sucks. They complain. As an entitled person, they expect (often) something for nothing, "I have the potential to be of great advantage, pay me what I want then you'll see!" I think this is just the victim posturing. If you say no, they usually get upset and whine about it.

Successful people look into the past failures/mistakes of themselves and others and learn from them and adapt for the future. Unsuccessful people ignore the past failures/mistakes of themselves and others as if they did not happen or say oh it won't happen to me or my business and they dont adapt, they end up hitting a plateau or failing completely. Great advice Dan keep it going!

for me successful people act on 3 basic things :
-Network : to be successful you have to learn from the best you have to be surrounded by entrepreneurs if you want to be one of them
    - thoughts : you have to be a realistic optimistic
    ! ;)
-Actions : successful people know how to handle their life . They always belive in the results of their actions

I also noticed highly successful people always think of the “ROI” for any decision that they make involving their resources i.e. time, money etc. There’s no “too much or too little”..it’s what’s the ROI. What do you think?
