Dan Lok you have to work hard in the right direction. In other words find your goal and work hard towards it. Not only physically, but mentally (which is working smart).

Hard work is very important in the process. Its easy for an uninitiated person to hear "hustling doesn't make you rich" and see that Bentley and imagine that there is some magic pill they can take and become wealthy. The key is to work hard at the things that will get you where you want to go... and stop mindlessly toiling away at tasks that aren't showing results.
I figured this out working at a company. Focusing on attribution. "Which projects are the ones worth fighting for? Which projects have regional impact instead of just national? Which projects contribute to the proposition and value on which I build my career?". Those were the questions I asked myself to determine whether or not I should "hustle" or not on a particular project. Like Dan I used the sniper method. Problem is, unlike Dan I haven't figured out yet how to make that work for me outside of an employee life. As a business owner. As an entrepeneur.

I don't think poor people do what's easy. I know many poor people who lift 25 kilos of rice on their back and walk 30km back to their home on their feet. That's not easy, but what makes them poor is they don't believe they will be rich and they don't have the courage to start the thing to be rich.

I've done jobs with tasks, danger and long hours that would make most people cry for a early grave. It's not hard work that makes the difference, it's hard work with the right end goal and a strategic plan A mile is still a mile, but you can have someone cut off your legs below the knees (employers) and try and travel that mile or you can have people carry you that mile (entrepreneur). The guy working for the employer might start sooner, but the entrepreneur will finish first and in far better condition to go for many more miles.

Thank you for your time and for sharing your wisdom! Happy New year 2019!
Action without strategy is useless, strategy without action is aimless. You tend to take hard work as the entry for the success. However, you need to enlarge your mindset n concept to avoid the superfluous steps in excess. Work smart is a necessity for us to conserve more energy and exert the energy or effort in other parts that are beneficial to our life success. Hence, think wisely and have an approach towards the hard steps initially is vital to bring long-lasting reward to u financially.

I love your videos Dan, I currently study in University and I knew that the way I was being taught was designed to be a mindset to be average and to be a standard employee who might make a 6 figure income by climbing the corporate ladder. Listening to and implementing the mindsets that I find from other entrepreneurs and yourself will lead me to my goal to make $100,000 this year and to do it 10X smarter. so much value, it’s a mind refresher for people who are stuck and make people rethink of how to get back in track, LEVERAGE and not HUSTLE, thank you so much
Amazingly i was given the exact same advise from one of my very successful client back in 2015. He told me we need to leverage our staffs and clients. Its not about hustling as what Sifu Dan just said. Leverage is the key. Thank you for reminding Dan. The word leverage it self is more powerful than hustle.
the honest truth is that most of the people cant think much for themselves or didnt have a good education to even reach that mindset you are talking about. Sure they can change but at the end of the day they will fall in line and thats what the higher class always exploits... you really have to change completely if you want to reach success and only a very few people can actually do that.
Vampires Crypt exactly and for this reason self aware people do not envy or even hate rich folks, because they know, they don't have what it takes to make it.
Yup higher class people that do that are dicks witch is why when I get to be in that higher class category I'm gonna do my very best to not "Exploit" workers I think it's unfair and I believe that everyone that is willing to work at there life should have a life that they want and can be proud of .
grey lesson ! I am getting so close to understand and apply "leverage" but I would feel guilty for a moment through some friends' comments "you are lazy, can you not manage yourself ?!" but here it comes ",leveraging" which includes: coming out of obscurity delegating tasks brand awareness multiple streams of income
Thanks a lot, Sir. I'm hustling like crazy for almost 5 years already. I never give up, but I see I was doing wrong. I don't know why I haven't found you before. I started to learn from you and to take action. I appreciate it very high. Thanks a lot. Sincerely Enrique.
I always say that the key is “work hard at working smart”. So pretty much not only leverage, but put the effort into that leverage. Your video helped me understand that even better, and even understand the importance of that. Also inspired me to actually USE the 80/20 rule. Also the sniper vs shotgun approach, u taught me that and inspired me to use that in the same video lol! Plan on using it in my future marketing once I figured out the best target. By “plan”, I mean I wrote it down so I can execute it in my marketing. First I gotta keep working on the actual product. Thanks Dan Lok

I believe at this point in my learning and life is that people need to work hard for intent. Not just too work for the sake of working hard. You are AWESOME!
U have to invest in people with patience. Treat them well.... Bring a part of your passion into them.... Make them to a small extent emotional to your business... That's how you make a team... And a healthy environment at work.... Will not let them leave you and go somewhere else for a small monetary jump...
Why work hard all your life just to retire at 65 and too worn out to do anything, when you can leverage your income and live as if you already retired. Basically work the muscle in your head to do the work for you. Think!!
Dan Lok is the shit! You set a perfect example fot what you often say about "valuable content". Because your content is the most valuable I've come across on youtube. You get to the root of the problems! Thank you so much for helping me grow! 😀✌
Yes exactly!!!! 10+ years most days working 2/3 Jobs, college full time, worked every holiday night and weekend. This only resulted in tons of debt and heart ache.
Thats Why people always tell you to chose the confort road not the harder , becouse rich people chose to do the harder and expand the confort zone and poor mindset chose to stay where they are now.. Thanks alot for the advise i really apreshiate how easy you can transfer the real talk and remind us which way we should go next . You are the man 💪🏻
Basically you have to hustle and work smart. Hustling doesn't give you 100% of your results, it's about working smart. Makes a lot of sense! Tai Lopez talks about this a lot as well.
Work smarter, not harder...very true. I've been pondering on this concept. I feel like a fair balance would be to dedicate x amount of time towards working hard on your business, and then after you've put in the time and effort necessary, treat yourself. Reward yourself for making the most of the day by doing something you feel like doing. I'm learning to avoid self gratification (rewarding yourself for nothing), and instead I aim to do that only after putting in the effort for the day...therefore, making it more rewarding!
Poor people do what's easy, that's why their life is hard.

Mr Lok I just want to say I was scrolling through my facebook feed and was just fucking around as usual and I came across one of your facebook ads. its been less than a week I've been studying you and reading your book(amazing read by the way) I just want to say you've Impacted my life in such a huge way and I already feel successful. It's like how you said.
"Life your life as if your already successful, then challenge your reality to catch up" Thank you sifu!!!
I will earn 1,2k first, then 12k, then 120k a month. I believe in everyone of you
MrDeepVoice 💰😍
I am earning 1.1k net a month right now. but plan on getting to the 6/7/8 and even 9 figures in the future
Upon retirement from my government job, of which I earned a pension and am collecting now, I was ready to spread my wings and explore entrepreneurship. I was then diagnosed with AML, acute leukemia, and saving my life became my new job. Sometimes events happen that we have no control over.
That's true
I'm sorry about that
Thank Dan. This video gave me a bit of a slap in the face that I needed. Time to change my mindset and goals!
Keep it up.
"Rich people do what's hard that's why their life is easy, poor people do what's easy that's why their life is hard".... This is so true..how thoughtful...thanks sifu for enlightening my mind
5:00 leverage
4:01 sniper over shotgun approach
- minimum effort with maximum results - simplicity
Now! I got my answers...that i have been searching for so long. The answer is that there is something wrong with my studies...thanks Dan may God bless you to become more wise person...👏👌
24 hours a day huh, i take care of the handicapped and elderly with 3 jobs 6 days and 4 overnights. Glad I found your videos, I need my sleep and money too
God bless you. Its sad society does not value your big heart, may God grant you health, wealth and piece of mind
I was working at this labor union when I was like 17 or 18 and one day someone I worked with said work "smarter not harder" while he put together this system so not only would we get everything done right, but in the end we got everything done in a timely fashion without wearing ourselves out if we were to do it the other way around.
Ever since that day, that saying "work smarter not harder" always stuck with me and has been a great benefit to me in most aspects.
Edit: that thumbnail spoke to me
No one is like you. Dan you're the best !
Thanks, Vlad.
Vlad Petrov he should be the next president like Donal Trump
It's a tie between him and Grant 😂
Dan I already love everything you put out and am part of your training/community. But the moment you said sniper as your style solidified why even more. Work patiently, one shot, one kill, leverage your skills and intuition. Outstanding!
Finally somebody told it how it is. I am so tired of the so called gurus (I´m talking Gary Vee, Valuetainment, etc.) 80% of their advice end with the same simplistic narrow approach of hustle, hustle, hustle… Thanks Dan for enlighten us all with this jewels.
Dan Lok, every day, I’m learning to implement, think and grow rich from watching your videos. You inspire me greatly.
Good job, Stephen! Implementing is the key to success. Keep going strong :)
If you don't mind me asking, what are you working on right now?
Andreas Sloth - HTC Graduate Im working on acquiring the skills to master the wealth triangle 😎🔥
@@stephensharikov7187, wow you're an action-taker! Keep working hard, Stephen - it will pay off!
What skill are you working on right now? :)
Andreas Sloth - HTC Graduate The skill that gives me most financial confidence, HTC! When I discovered the wealth triangle concept here, i had the 2nd and 3rd angle already in mind. Dan Lok gave me the final piece of the puzzle.
This was so important for me. This just shows me that all the learning and development I've been doing is going to give me my figures.
It's good to see you're learning. A lot of people don't take the time to learn and develop themselves, so you're on the right track, Chaitanay - keep it going!

If you’re hustling you are at the mercy of hounding others to access their money. That’s a loser’s mantra. In one of your previous videos you said create a leverage and have a product that others want. You are aces Dan.
Hey Dan!!! Thank you so much for these amazing car rides in the Bentley! I've just recently come into this knowledge and power of financial literacy and you are among the favorites that I've had the opportunity to discover! This year, I turn 30 years old. I do feel that I've wasted a lot of time not realizing that I have all the tools necessary to completely change my life because I wish I could have started upon this path 10 years ago BUT - nonetheless, I'm finally here and I'm SO EXCITED to keep reading and developing the habits that I want to have!
The problem I have is trust. Building a team that’s trustworthy is very hard when your business is already doing well
Jimmy British Beats find a way to test ppl without losing a large amount of profit nd that the time period of the shorten isn't enough to affect the future meaning u can give someone 24 hours to take them.in or drop them
Jimmy British Beats Perform a deceit, a fake opportunity for example to set up against each of your team, if they leave you because of the fake opportunity, you know who to boot
Dan i gotta give it to you, i've watched many business entrepreneurs etc. you in this conversation encapsulated the essence of the mindset one must have, peeling away the massive noise thrown about by other influencers. for that i thank you, big fan. Thank you for giving back
Thanks for the video, We all have problems; the way we solve them is what makes us different, i pray anybody reading this God will solve all your problems.
Sometimes i wonder how people get rich at these days.
if you want to be successful have the mindset of the rich, spend less and invest more. don't give up your dreams.
Thank you for your service, Dan.
This Bentley Driver is Lucky😍😍 Mentor Radio all time for him
Still he is a driver...
Had to stop at the 4:40 mark to share something...
When you said it's about Simplicity,
On my wall written on an index card is this:
The 3 Pillars of Business Integrity:
Simplicity Honesty Transparancy
Dan, you are one of the best aspects of my daily continuing education regime!
"I'm already assuming that you're already working hard"
holy shit that hit home (because I'm not working hard / as hard as I could)
onlyheretowatch failcompilations
Same here my Brain just frose when he Said that.
Wake up call !
I always knew it's more about planning, understanding, learning and putting the acquired knowledge into action, rather than just grinding senselessly. Now this video has proved my intuition. Thank you.
Hey, Dan. Do a video, on how 6 figure income mindset differs from 7 figures. And then from 8 figures. These are completely different worlds, and would be really interesting to hear your evolution of mindset through this process.Thank you for consistent videos.
Welcome Amin.
Amin Akhmadi I'd like to see that too.
well. I'm imaging my self as the boss in the Bentley!
that's how these videos are impacting me.
I'm literally changing my views, attitude and the eforts I put toward changing my lifestyle with every video.
and the one principals I learned ?,
change how I think.
thank U dan.
Another SOLID video! This is such a great series..! Thanks for sharing so much awesome advice and insight.
So true Dan I worked 18hrs a day and didn't sleep on Saturday just to work but still ended up with 3 failed business, it wasn't until I took a step back and worked smarter that things began to fall in place. Great video,
This video is worth millions
so much value, it’s a mind refresher for people who are stuck and make people rethink of how to get back in track,
LEVERAGE and not HUSTLE, thank you so much
Amazingly i was given the exact same advise from one of my very successful client back in 2015. He told me we need to leverage our staffs and clients.
Its not about hustling as what Sifu Dan just said. Leverage is the key. Thank you for reminding Dan. The word leverage it self is more powerful than hustle.
Thank dan, i have learn more about by watching your coaching video.
Thanks alot dan
Make time your Ally. Not your enemy.
So good. Leverage is the key word. Not hustle. That’s a given. Thanks Dan for sharing your wisdom with the world.
the honest truth is that most of the people cant think much for themselves or didnt have a good education to even reach that mindset you are talking about.
Thats why self improvement is so important in life
Yup higher class people that do that are dicks witch is why when I get to be in that higher class category I'm gonna do my very best to not "Exploit" workers I think it's unfair and I believe that everyone that is willing to work at there life should have a life that they want and can be proud of .
grey lesson !
I am getting so close to
understand and apply "leverage"
but I would feel guilty for a moment
through some friends' comments
"you are lazy, can you not manage yourself ?!"
but here it comes ",leveraging"
which includes:
coming out of obscurity
delegating tasks
brand awareness
multiple streams of income
This hit me hard!! 🤯 I’m exhausted. I need to be thinking more!!
Jacqueline B I agree, I need to do that too!
Jacqueline B loooooool that normally happens but the business guys normally invest in them
Naaah u need to do more
After watching you, I realized my business is Sh*t. I just woke up.
I have a lot of entrepreneurs I look up to but Dan Lok is the one I look up to the most. Your book FU Money is arguably the best book I’ve ever read.
Keep it up.
You’ll see again and again how every successful person knows how to focus on the critical few instead of trying to do everything.
Thanks a lot, Sir. I'm hustling like crazy for almost 5 years already. I never give up, but I see I was doing wrong. I don't know why I haven't found you before. I started to learn from you and to take action. I appreciate it very high. Thanks a lot. Sincerely Enrique.
This reminds me of what one of my teachers when I was in high school he said "Don't work harder work smarter"
That's a good teacher!(:
Work harder AND smarter
I always say that the key is “work hard at working smart”. So pretty much not only leverage, but put the effort into that leverage. Your video helped me understand that even better, and even understand the importance of that. Also inspired me to actually USE the 80/20 rule. Also the sniper vs shotgun approach, u taught me that and inspired me to use that in the same video lol! Plan on using it in my future marketing once I figured out the best target. By “plan”, I mean I wrote it down so I can execute it in my marketing. First I gotta keep working on the actual product. Thanks Dan Lok
"Rich people do what's hard, that's why their life is easy. Poor people do what's easy, that's why their life is hard." Such a wise/profound statement. Thank you for the value Dan.
Welcome.
The diference between Dan and othes like him here on RUclips is that the other wnat to sell you an Idea but they don't really want you to succeed... Thank you Dan for sharing what others hide!
Great advice! I thought this was only a fighting channel. So dope
16 years old and listening to you all day thanks for the value that you provide 🙏
This is very very powerful.. Shotgun vs sniper method.. Really really big in gap.. Thanks Sir. I love it
Dan Lok I am reading you F.U. money book and oh my goodness it is helping me think more, learn more, and understand more. I taking more action and stacking up my option for plans a, b, c, and d! I believe at this point in my learning and life is that people need to work hard for intent. Not just too work for the sake of working hard. You are AWESOME!
I opened my business and followed Dan sir but the problem is-
I'm not able to build a good team please make a video on this
Punit, Watch this: ruclips.net/video/kklsZAM7LR4/видео.html
My MAN!
punit bayad this is the biggest problem, building a team, people are greedy and selfish and want to see u fail.. u got do it on your own
U have to invest in people with patience. Treat them well.... Bring a part of your passion into them.... Make them to a small extent emotional to your business... That's how you make a team... And a healthy environment at work.... Will not let them leave you and go somewhere else for a small monetary jump...
what kind of team members you want, if the team provide you sincere service would you reward and acknowledge him/her equally......
So much useful information and love the delivery as well. Learnt a lot from the 4 or 5 videos I have watched already.
Why work hard all your life just to retire at 65 and too worn out to do anything, when you can leverage your income and live as if you already retired. Basically work the muscle in your head to do the work for you. Think!!
Thanks Dan!!!!
Respek bro, wise wordz.
The question is how do you do that??
Dan Lok is the shit! You set a perfect example fot what you often say about "valuable content". Because your content is the most valuable I've come across on youtube. You get to the root of the problems! Thank you so much for helping me grow! 😀✌
Trying to focus on selling. Made the mistake for years of focusing too much on building. Great series, thanks.
I am on that fork of the road, still figuring out whether to build or sell what i havent built yet.. how did you get out of that?
Yes exactly!!!! 10+ years most days working 2/3 Jobs, college full time, worked every holiday night and weekend. This only resulted in tons of debt and heart ache.
The 80 / 20 Valfredo Poretto is amazing . The snipper approach. Thanks Nairobi is watching
Safi Kaka..
I'm learning to avoid self gratification (rewarding yourself for nothing), and instead I aim to do that only after putting in the effort for the day...therefore, making it more rewarding!
let's get this money together fam
