Yes sorry it's been so long! Trying to balance my job in healthcare with my job in skating too! It has been tricky with the pandemic. I'm thinking of all my skaters quarantined at home so I'm hoping to post more soon :)
@@CoachMarySkating Please, do not get me wrong. I said "I've been waiting long" NOT to point out that you haven't posted more videos recently.
I waited for off-ice trainig kind of videos.
What one does on ice is only 50% of work. The other 50% is hard work in the gym or at home, lifting weights, doing squats etc. I can't wait to watch some more. But I will wait patiently for them. Because You (as anyone else on this planet) have also other things to do and worry about. Stay safe and healthy. :)

yes! come up to a low squat instead of jumping from the knees. or squat jumps instead or chair squat jumps
How many of each should I do?
Hi there! Great question, I set up this video as additional ideas for your off-ice routine. For beginners, I would say choose 2 exercises, 1-3 sets, 5-8 repetitions. For more advanced, choose up to 4 exercises, 2-3 sets, 8-10 reps. Hope this helps!

yes! I recommend a learn to skate lesson - group classes once rinks re-open!
